Total Con and possible scam
Lot number 1 auction for 12th August. I placed my £20.00 bid and was accepted and in the lead (confirmation email) ...Later, got an email telling I had been outbid next bid was £22.00 so I bid £25.00, I was immediately refused and told outbid next bid is £28.00 . If the next bid was £22.00 why was I refused at £25.00, then suddenly increased to £28.00 doesn't make sense unless it is a total con.....
buying rubbish for the tip
have just received my packages from the ibidder platform in Huddersfield, 2 items out of three isn't to bad. But the thing is both packages are absolutely rubbish, corner lamps in old packaging plus only one light instead of two, plus a wall clock made of wood, the clock doesn't work plus it is covered in damp, a very expensive clock worth nothing (rubbish) the third package a stand up desk worth £240 is somewhere in the country and am still waiting for it, and the thing is how much rubbish this is going to be,,,, I do think i will wait for it so I can take it all to the rubbish tip together. My advise avoid this site like the plague.

I (07727160802) purchased garden furniture Archer and Reeves - ibidder should take responsibility.
We purchased garden furniture from Archer and Reeves LTD through the I-bidder platform for over 2800£. After the auction ended, I-bidder sent an email requesting that we make a payment to Archer and Reeves LTD within 24 hours, and you also advised us to transfer the payment directly to the auctioneers.
I-Bidder facilitated a platform for scammers. We should hold I-Bidder responsible. How can they be so careless as to allow scammers to rob people?
Lets us all report I Bidder for their inaction and inform the bank since we all agreed to legal terms and made timely payments. We need to initiate a legal case to recover the lost money, including the portion retained by I Bidder. Robert
Absaloute cowboys
Absaloute cowboys! No response from complaint emails, parcels not received and one had most items not even packed- they only take cash transfers so its a lot harder to claw back for not received good. AVOID AVOID AVOID

The lot I won was as described and the quality is superb but instead of 55" TV they delivered a 50" TV. I have informed them about it but have yet to get a response.
Of the various ATG sites
Of the various ATG sites, I really like using i-bidder, but the-salesroom and bidspotter are great too. I find the display of extra fees clear and helpful, and have never had bugs or issues. Auctions more consumer-focused than bidspotter, and most auction houses listing on i-bidder offer shipping or at least packaging.
Nice I like dthis site
Buyer beware
Buyer beware. Be VERY careful. The listings are (deliberately?) vague. Doesn’t state new/used or even working. Pictures often unclear . T & c’s say to check goods before leaving the premises but no opportunity to do so. Twice bitten with this company. There won’t be a third time.
Transparency in the bids
What a joke I-bidder is
What a joke I-bidder is. Won a pallet of tools claimed to be 2.5k worth 😂😂 maybe half that at a push. Most were broken and didn’t work some were even in bits. I feel I’ve been robbed and gonna take the matter up with trading standards and trade descriptions. AVOID you have been warned
global auctions are selling dangerous item that should gone to the skips
I've been dying lots from global auctions but after a lot problems with them I've stopped dealing with them.. won a saw bench but when it arrived there was a big sticker on the top saying motor burnt out. Safety reasons should of not even be in the auction. Also a hob with faulty wiring which when I took it to be examined by a expert was found out it could of easy gone up in flames..
Items like this should not be in any auctions. Should be a las banning faulty dangerous items being resold..
The say you can ask for a report items in auction but by the time you get a reply the auction is over...
So my advice is keep away from global auctions and try John Pye as they put lots of photos on there items in the auction

Started bidding today and had a…no deadline
Started bidding today and had a deadline of 7.30pm.Evertime I increased the bid the deadline kept on extending by 10 minutes, after several more bids the deadline was extended to 8.00pm and I gave up due to changing the goal posts. The point of a auction is there has to be a deadline not wait 10 minutes more each time to see anyone beats it.Definitely won’t be using ibidder again
Lost My Goods what a Day!!
Won Items oin the auction requested to pick them up and they could not find them in the end they never found them and had t5o give me a refund which I didn't really want I wanted my goods. Lots of appologies but that doen't make it right but credit to the girls SAM & Jess they were fantastic all the waythrough. I in the future they don't auction things that they can't find.
Please note Archer and Reeves have fraud …
Please note Archer and Reeves have done the same in November owing people many ££££sale and I Bidder the auction platform have done nothing to help. Other than take commission and say contact your bank for help
Just AVOID!
just AVOID! reading reviews here, I'm not surprised.
Im in business for 30 years and account for about 15 years with Ibiddier, goods came up I was interested in, £30k worth, cannot log in, I cant call them as tel no just refers you to the website, I cannot live chat, I sent an email marked Urgent they come back to me a week later!
Luckily the auctioneer knows us, and took a commission bid,
it turned out it, "security" suspended my account, can they resolve it? more joy talking to a brick!
Reading the reviews here, if they took a few minutes here to verify the dubious auction houses, rather than honest buyers, then most of you wouldn't have had these problems.
Some auction house are established and legitimate, I can name a few who we buy from. So its a case of Buyers beware, good auctioneers will let you view the goods you are buying, or at least show actual pics of items, then bid accordingly.
