Top team

Ian - top man and a top team. Been dealing with them for many years now, nothing is too much trouble, whether it's a light or windscreen wiper or puncture. Rescued me when stranded in Newmarket high street (throttle cable broke) Services and MOT's my cars at very reasonable prices. Highly recommended.
Get well soon Ian.

Exceptionally helpful and courteous

I'm new to this area and self-isolating. My Ford Fiesta was due for its MOT. I'm so glad I found Ian Button online.

Although a clean, reliable car, with only 40k on the clock despite her age, I knew chassis rust could be a problem from the previous MOT advisory note.

I looked for a local garage and phoned Ian Button. I explained the situation and he grasped my dilemma immediately. I needed a pre-MOT assessment on how bad the rust was and whether it was worth fixing or not.

Bless him, he phoned the next day and asked me diplomatically "So what are your thoughts on this Ford Fiesta then?". We talked it through and I accepted his advice that it was best to scrap the car and put it towards a newer vehicle without the rust problem. He charged me a minimal fee for his time and advice.

It transpired that access for the scrap dealer's large transporter to pick up the car would be difficult where I live. Ian and his wife Helen were brilliant, agreeing happily for my car to be picked up from their premises.

I really couldn't have asked for a more helpful and courteous garage to help me through the unpleasant business of scrapping my car.
