Terrible service.

Having initially decided to go for a .ie domain I scouted around and found ICCM as one of very few potential registrars I could choose from.

After a lengthy registration process (it has to be done through the irish registrar service) I then waited an absolute age for them to respond to any of my requests, at which point they asked for information I had already provided them with, took another few days and they finally sorted it. After querying name server changes they didn't give me any response so I decided rather than have to deal with more of their terrible customer service I'd take out one of their cheapest plans so that I'd have minimal issues. This was fine, set up my hosting and used it for a while. Noticed major latency issues and checked the IP address they provided me with to find out that an Irish hosting company was renting their servers from a US host, absolutely abysmal.

Fast forward to trying to cancel my plan due to them deciding to hike the price up on my plan for absolutely no reason other than they could (and when I asked they simply told me I could reduce the price if I paid yearly) they needed me to fill out an irritating form to confirm I wanted to cancel, bare in mind I had paid already for a months hosting for them and they decided that I wasn't allowed access to any of the files on my hosting account after changing my host. I had paid for the month so they should have let me continue to use it until the end of the paid for period.

I submitted a ticket for this and yet again got horrific responses from their support team, who eventually closed the ticket out when I complained that the service was shoddy.

I'd absolutely avoid this company like the plague, from the bad service to a website design from 2003 it is absolutely not worth your time dealing with them.
