Military mom scammed — paid $708, only got 2 rides for my child

I am an Air Force mom who trusted iCommute Kids Transportation (Douglasville, GA) while away on TDY orders. My 9-year-old son was starting at a new school and struggles with anxiety, so I paid this company $708 upfront expecting safe, reliable transportation.

Here’s what actually happened:

Day 1 (Aug 11): Morning pickup canceled last minute, afternoon drop-off not until 7 PM.

Day 2 (Aug 12): Morning pickup happened, but later the company admitted in writing they could not provide reliable afternoon service.

That was it — only 2 one-way trips total (worth maybe $40). Yet this company is trying to keep nearly $600 of my money by inventing a “two-week notice” policy that was never in the contract, registration paperwork, or handbook.

As of Aug 25, 2025, no refund has been issued. The business has admitted fault but refuses to do the right thing. Instead, they’ve left my family stressed, my husband struggling while I’m away serving, and my anxious child let down.

Parents, please beware. This company did not deliver on their promises and is trying to profit off families — even military families — by hiding behind policies that were never disclosed.
