Great customer service & a great price. My husband’s phone was fixed within half an hour, with a screen protector provided with the service. Highly recommend. Thank you !

Awful quality control

Went to them for a charge port and battery replacement. Have had endless issues with my phone ever since. I have been back to them 4 times due to their awful standard of work:

1) They didn't tighten the screws in the bottom of the phone properly which nearly fell out.

2) The battery became loose and was rattling around inside the phone after a couple of days.

3) The battery stopped charging at 65% and wouldn't go any higher.

4) The phone now overheats every time I try to charge it and use it at the same time.

Avoid them at all costs, their standard of work is apalling. Save your time and money and get it done by a professional.

£320 bill!

I took my iphone in to Icrack Salisbury for a replacement screen protector having been quoted £20 the day before on the phone for 'premium'. I was asked to leave the phone and return in an hour. I later collected my phone but when I looked at the receipt at home I was horrified to see that I had been charged £320. On the advice of my credit card company I went back the next day and they admitted it was their mistake as they had fitted a new screen without my consent and that I would be refunded within 24 hours. It was not refunded within that time limit but after repeated calls eventually the refund was made. A clear list of charges and confirmation of work to be done would be helpful.

GROSSLY OVERCHARGED fvery…

I was GROSSLY OVERCHARGED for a very basic screen protector. £24.99!!! Unfortunately I was visiting Bath on a tour and had already moved on before I realised that my online bank account had been charged so much. I messaged the shop but did not receive a response. I am totally disgusted by their underhand crooked deception and will never visit one of these small shops again.

Shady, scummy, predatory. Go elsewhere

Go elsewhere. Paid them £100 to permanently destroy my phone.

Situation:
Came in with a low-powered but working and chargeable phone. Paid £70 to replace the battery. They didn't initially give a receipt. They replaced it with a battery that overheated the charging port when charging, damaging the port. They said it must be my fault and an issue with the house or cable despite no previous issues.
Paid another £30 for a cable, charger, and for them to repair the now damaged charging port. The new cable and charger didn't improve things, returned it back. Later they said it couldn't be repaired and they never contacted me about this despite taking details.
Asked for a full refund of everything. They said they would only give me £15 back for a repair of the port they couldn't do and never even got to keep the cable or charger. Told them it was unacceptable that they'd now ruined my phone and they said I can't prove its them because they know more than me. They also said that because other customers have had good service, it can't be their fault at all. Had to take the £15 because they called security when I kept telling them it was unacceptable to give poor service saying I was driving away their customers and security just said suck it up. I've paid them £100 to ruin my phone, be blamed for the problem caused and told there's no way it could possibly be their fault, and only been given a very minor compensation because I had to proactively ask for things in writing they were initially unwilling to offer.

Problems:
• Poor service - Came in with a janky but working phone. Left with a battery that overheats and a port that can't be replaced, a permanently destroyed phone.
• No receipts - Initially said (paraphrasing), "you don't need a receipt, we know what you've paid" both times. Only got something in writing because I asked for it. They wouldn't have even given me back anything without it
• Belittling and gaslighting - Told me I know nothing about phones and have to trust their expertise once my phone was damaged. It doesn't take a lot to figure out that, when everything but one thing changes and leads to problems, the most likely thing causing the problems is the thing that changed - i.e., the battery they put in overheated the port.
• No communication - Didn't contact me to say no repair could be done despite me leaving contact details. I only know because I had to physically come in and ask about it.
• Liars - Initially told me they couldn't give a refund because the manager wasn't in that day and then suddenly were able to refund me a minor compensation 15 minutes later.

truly horrendous

I had broken my phone screen and needed it replaced. So, I emailed for a quote, to which they replied it would be around £65. Then, I went into the shop where they said it would be £75. Annoying, but I still needed my screen fixed. However, when I got my phone back, there was a black line down the middle of the screen and glue all around the edge. So, I took it back and they said they would fix it. They fixed it again, but they had not only ordered the wrong screen but also broken the replacement screen. So, they fixed it for the next day after claiming the phone was too old and difficult to repair, and being extremely rude. I got my phone back and noticed a white dot in the middle of the screen, but chose to ignore it as I didn't want to deal with them. Cut to a few days later, and the screen had completely glitched out. So, I took it back again, and now they are refusing to fix it. Dreadful shop and extremely rude staff, and now I currently don't have a phone.

Very painful experience overall

Very painful experience overall. I brought my phone 11 days ago after having issues with it for a few days. I checked with multiple high street shops, everyone anticipated that it was about a motherboard issue. It could be expensive or it could be something disconnected. I passed by Icrack as I know they deal with those sort of issues. After explaining everything I've been through I was told that my "software was corrupted" and paid 39£ for a new software. 4h later, my phone started showing the same issues = the problem wasn't with the software. I brought my phone back in, just before a bank holiday weekend and I was told to leave it with them, it would be sent and delivered to the lab on Tuesday, would get a call by Wednesday telling me what the issue is, if fixable and how much it would cost me. Needless to say that I didn't get a call. I picked up the phone every following day at 6.30 pm to ask if there were news, and they would tell me "I call you tomorrow ok?" And then again, no call, I chase, all in loop. The following Saturday I decided to go to the store and ask about it as I have been kept in the unknown all week and that was not what we agreed. I was told that they were going to call me at 3 and they would have the final answer and that if the phone is not fixable, they will tell me and send it back. Either way I would have it by Monday/Tuesday. I had to call because, they never contacted me, and they then called me back later saying "phone will be fixed, piece has already been ordered, you will have it on Monday, I call tomorrow". I got frustrated as still, was not given any idea of what the issue was and how much it would cost me. "It's the IC issue, 60/70£" ok. Finally. Great. On Monday I'm finally being contacted, only to say that my phone will be there on Tuesday.
Today (Tuesday), after leaving work early to go collect my phone, I was told " your phone is not fixed, we need more time, 3/4 working says" so I asked why was I not informed on Saturday, I would have waited. The answer I got, with not much politeness either, was " you kept calling my phone my phone my phone, so we sent back. If you want leave it and I take back but now you have phone". I have never seen such a poor customer relationship and inexistent communication. I'm now going on holidays in 4 days and unable to get it fixed at all. What a waste of time and money. People with such a strong inability dealing with customers, should not be allowed to. Rude, smug, do not trust them.

I got mislead! I have requested a refund

I just got my Google pixel 7 pro screen fixed in icrack Eastleigh and they mislead me. My screen now has an extremely slow refresh rate, it doesn't display around the curve (black rim) and now it has no finger sensor. I gave him £200 cash and then realised this and he won't give me a full refund (only £30). At no point did he explain that i would be loosing the finger sensor or that the display won't curve it's a got a black rim which doesn't match the design.

I have requested a refund 11 days ago and said that if I do not hear back in 14 days I will be filing a small claim.

Rip off merchants

My elderly mum bought a phone from the store in exmouth.she was charged £65 for a faulty phone.with no box and had to ask for a reciept.she had to go back on 3 separate occasions in which she was offered a new battery and x2 new charge cables of which none resolved the issue.as the phone was not charging.we asked for our money back which the shop refused.and tryed to say there was water damage.appauling under the circumstances.we are going to consumer advice as this shop is knowingly selling faulty goods and ripping people off in the process.we have been told that many people have had to get their phones repaired after having had so called repairs done by icrack.
We decided to take the phone to another shop who has a more reputable name.who did a diagnostics on it and said the screen had gone and no internal water damage what so ever.proving ictack were over charging and selling faulty goods.we actually bought a phone from the reputable company and left as happy customers.

Dishonest

Honestly , Terrible and abusive behaviour. Replaced the front screen 3 times as all were either faulty or had not been fitted right. Replaced Back as they said this is the cause of the front screen going wrong ?? NO ! Badly fitted front screen, let rain water in from a badly fitted screen and no waterproof seal around the frame!!! Pls ask for this otherwise they won’t do it and you will have to go back with the screen faulty and they will try charging you again.
went back with warranty another excuse , lied and starting abusing us calling us F,ing liers.
We contacted the authorities ..

Scammers

Took the phone into Salisbury branch, due to face recognition not working. Told that a new true depth camera was required, and that the phone would be 'reprogrammed'. Cost £75, and agreed to this. Collected phone and found that face recognition still not working. Returned to shop and was told that because the phone was not working properly when I took it in, the replacement of the camera would not work! I asked why did they not tell me this before carrying out the repair? Why did they replace the camera if it was not going to fix the problem!?
The shop assistant then became very angry and accused me of being a liar, and accused me of only asking for the camera to be replaced!!. I argued that this was not true. Eventually I was given back the £75.
I have since found out that to fix the the face recognition can only be carried out by Apple.
ICrack are con artists and scammers. They took £75 for a fix that they knew would not work!
Also beware that there appears to be 2 companies with the same name. 'ICrack' & 'ICrack Phone'.
