Awful manner and first impressions

Finn Simmons - a business developer - disrupted my day by cold calling me, hung up then rejected my call back twice in a row. I then received an entirely unprofessional and colloquial email from Finn requesting my diary availability to offer me employment that I am in no way interested in.

Not at all an appropriate way to engage with someone, and an extremely poor look for the company. Clear lack of professionalism and very disappointing.

Ideagen bought the company 3-4 years ago. their management approach has been to squeeze and take advantage of existing clients. Their have included T&C are the reserve of the poor photo copier
1. Hiding 2 year contracts in typically 1 year discussions
2. adding that clients must give 6 months notice to not subscribe again
3. increasing costs 800%
4. removing shared networks licenses and haVe sole subscription....For the same cost adding 30% to running costs
BUYER BEWARE ON IDEAGEN CONTRACTS

we have used the software for 20 years and it is good software. It is a simple routine that saves emails individually in locations so staff can find them when needed without resorting to email accounts.
It has worked well and is well updated

Uninspiring and very political

The upper marketing management is woeful. It's like they've got marketing experience from the 80s and never moved forwards.

Politics, politics, politics. You really need to watch what you say to anyone.

This company is outdated, no growth mindset, very much stuck in its ways, no innovation, uninspiring marketing and other leaders. Morale is poor.

Sold to a VC company. Strategy is to buy companies and get rid of their employees. Also they're in the process of making US/European colleagues redundant in favour of lower wage economies.

Up to about 3 years ago i really liked the company but too much dead wood 'leaders' were brought in and the company being sold changed the atmosphere.
