IDFL Mobile Newbridge are useless
On Sunday, 22/10/2023 I took my new phone in the box, and had a screen protector fitted, and it was put back in the box. When I got home and took the phone out, the screen protector had started lifting on the right side, so I phones the number on the receipt, but it was off. I went there on the Monday, it was raining, and some water droplets obviously got in under the protector, as it was not sealed onto the screen. I showed the employee the phone, explained the situation, and was very rudely told to come back the following day. Why, I was there, why couldn't he help me there and then, I am the customer, and don't even live in that area, takes me 30 minutes to get there, and he didn't even apologize, just told me to come back the next day and speak to the person who fitted the screen. Then he had an issue because some water had got between the screen and the protector. That would not have happened had it been fitted properly in the first place, so no fault of mine. I then told him to "stuff it" and went to another shop to have the screen protector replaced. Tried phoning the number again, just rang, no answer, and no call back. This adventure cost me €25 for the original protector, €15 to have it replaced, petrol, parking and my time. Obviously IDFL does not care about customer satisfaction, and is just after making a buck or 2. Stay away, as if anything goes wrong, they just fob you off, and you have lost your hard-earned money. They are absolutely the worst place I have dealt with in Ireland, and I will not recommend them to anybody, ever.
