I'm so glad I had this type of online therapy. I was a bit undecided at first, but desperate and had nothing to lose. It was good because I could just type how I felt without the embarrassment of breaking down face to face with someone.
The therapist was so understanding and gave me excellent advice and explained how to use certain skills to overcome my problems . Encouraging me all the way.
I'm so much better now thanks to her.
I still use the tips I was given if I start to feel down again.
I can't thank them enough.

Kevin a very good clincian. I have really worked well with him. He adapted the skills I needed to learn to help fit my neurodiversities.

Unfortunately with a combination appointments being rescheduled last minute or the therapist just not turning up, I was never able to have an appointment. This occurred over the course of 2-3 months. I was told they would connect me to a new therapist after my previous one missed our sessions with no messages beforehand, but this didn’t happen and then I got a letter saying my own lack of response led to me being dismissed from the service.
The communication was terrible and I found myself having to chase them to even answer my messages. I’d also requested a female clinician and when asking to change they initially assigned me to a man. I have been dealing with some pretty strong issues and considering they are a therapy service they seemed not to care, which is really sad as I really wanted this to work out.

Online therapy has helped me hugely with dealing with my PTSD. Kevin is so knowledgeable and every session felt very catered to my personal experience and way of thinking. I've had therapy before which was very 'work through this sheet', but this was the opposite, which I really appreciated. I never felt rushed in my sessions and was allowed and encouraged to take the time to feel my emotions. I've struggled with using mindfulness in the past as a tool to help regulate my emotions, but I learnt so many skills in my sessions that it has now become part of my everyday. I can't thank Kevin enough for the skills he's taught me as well as his knowledge, kindness and compassion.

Was referred to ieso from the NHS due to low mood and anxiety. Was in a dark place and really struggling with life in general before I started. Was very nervous at first as I have never done anything like this before, but Kevin Tait made me feel comfortable from the get-go. He really knows his stuff and is a great listener. Went through everything from my past to what makes me feel down or anxious now, and looked at what we can do to challenge and improve these feelings. Kevin has helped me to recognise my feelings and avoid safety behaviours that may make these worse, as well as showing me it is okay to feel this way at times and what I can do to help get out of the low moods and anxious feelings. I have left therapy feeling so much better about my life, and i feel ready to take on future challenges that await. If anyone is reading this that is considering therapy, as a man who wasn't necessarily taught to talk through his feelings and emotions, please do it. It can literally save your life and make you a better person. Kevin you are amazing and I'm sure you will help many more people like me in the near future!

Kevin has consistently been marvellous, his wealth of knowledge, particularly regarding unhelpful behaviours and the negative, fixed beliefs I have carried, even when those beliefs lacked a factual basis, has been invaluable. He guided me to question myself and assisted in developing practical tools and skills, all of which will be instrumental as I continue on my journey. More than that, Kevin has helped me to identify pathways towards healing from pain and harm that was never truly mine to carry, especially for so long.
Kevin has not only been a source of support but has become my guiding light. In moments of despair, when feelings of being overwhelmed threating to spiral out of control, I know I will recall his calming voice. He has empowered me to validate my feelings in the moment, offering steadfast support as I learn to sit with uncomfortable distress, confident in the knowledge that these feelings will pass and that I will be alright in the end.
I am deeply grateful for everything Kevin has given me: his knowledge, his skills, his kindness, and, most importantly, his ability to not only listen, but to truly hear and see me.
Thank you, Kevin, for all that you have done.
Tschüss, you wonderful human being.

Dissapointing.. Don't bother - Had my first session, but then I couldn't log in to the website and missed my session. There is no way of contacting them - They don't answer the phone, reply to messages or emails!!! I'm left feeling dissapointed and frustrated!!!

I've never tried online therapy before, but I was pleasantly surprised by the tips I was given. I had 3 sessions, but IESO is a good starting point for therapy. The advantages of online is talking freely from the comfort of your own home, and there was plenty of evening availability.

It changed my life having this therapy, as therapist made me feel they understood what i was experiencing, and provided the tools to help me and give a place to share my worries. they genuinely cared about helping get through a very difficult stage in my life. I am so grateful for having this

I was a little sceptical about doing online therapy, this was with a therapist and after one session my fears were put to rest. Within a few sessions we were getting to the route cause of my issues, this really helped me understand how my mind works and techniques for how I can change the way I think. Overall, a very engaging and quick 6 weeks that flew by. I feel much better for giving this a go, and I now understand better how I deal with stress and worry.

My weekly sessions with Lynne have been so helpful, I feel more confident in myself and my ability to cope with difficult thoughts and feelings. It genuinely felt like speaking to a friend, and I will miss it! I felt very safe and understood throughout all of my CBT sessions. I’m really happy and thankful for this service :)

I had 7 weeks of CBT treatment with Kevin Tait. I had never previously taken part in therapy before but Kevin was understanding, supportive and has really made a difference to how I feel. His ability to understand my issues and get me to think about them differently have had a real positive benefit to both my work life and home life. I cant recommend enough

CBT referral by the NHS to help with OCD.
Using the IESO portal is very straightforward, appointments are made, reminders sent. Having open access your 'online therapy room' to see documents and view information shared during your session, is particularly helpful. I can't rate Kevin Tait highly enough. He helped me feel completely at ease, listened to me, supported when I found it hard, helped me to break down my longheld, unhelpful behaviours all whilst giving me the tools to succeed and build my resilience. I am so thankful to Kevin and positive about the future, armed with plenty of strategies going forward.

Communication is dreadful, you are told that if you need to get a message to your therapist to go onto the website and message through your personal page or whatever it's called, I have messaged on several occasions and not one message has been picked up and answered, when you already suffer from accute anxiety this just makes matters worse. I don't recommend at all!
