Few passengers are aware of their consumer rights protected under Regulation (EC) 261/2004 and many lack the will or legal knowledge to go through with a claim. The compensation depends on the length of the flight but also how many hours the flight was delayed and varies between €250-600 per passenger. You are entitled to flight delay compensation in accordance with the regulation when you flew with an EU Airline that took off or landed within the EU. The regulation is also applicable when you flew with a Non-EU Airline that departed from within the EU. The time limit for claims regarding cancelled, delayed or overbooked flights is determined by the national laws of each EU member state and is usually between 3-10 years

Won case against Norwegian in court thanks to IfDelayed

IfDelayed just successfully closed our case (group of 4 passengers) about a delayed flight with Norwegian. We received full compensation.

Initially Norwegian refused to pay anything. IfDelayed sued for one person in the court of Stockholm first. Even after the court awarding compensation to that one person, Norwegian refused to pay for the remaining three persons out of court. IfDelayed sued again and also won for the other three passengers. The case took one year in total, but IfDelayed did all the work.

We shared 30% of the awarded compensation with IfDelayed. No risks for us, also in case a negative court decision. Special thanks to Olivia, IfDelayed CLO, for her patience in explaining me what was going on.

Simple, efficient , quick

this is the third time I am using Ifdelayed , very happy with them but seems I have to use a different Airline as I had 3 cancleed flight in last 2 years with them !
