The specification and contract documents were clear and of a high standard. Following on from this iHus implemented the high specifications stated as per the contract in the build phase. They also supported us in a timely manner with any issues or queries. There was always someone to talk to. As a result we have a beautiful and comfortable home near our family and we are enjoying our new chapter in life.

So supportive from start to finish. The whole team were brilliant. It took a while to get the process off the ground as my house sale fell through so build start dates had to be rearranged. Once we were able to start, I can honestly say I have never come across such hard workers. The Groundwork crew were fantastic. Worked so hard, were super helpful and kept cheerful in the most appalling weather. I have no words to describe the two build guys. Never have I come across such hard workers. They worked from 7.30 to when I literally made them go home at around 6.30! Amazing work ethic and their work was exemplary. All in all, I couldn't be more happy with my decision to go with iHus.

**Just a little update. Have had a few snagging issues and I have to say the Company haven't been too great at responding. Understand with complex builds, there's always going to be the odd issue but I wish I felt my concerns had been handled better and quicker.

What a fantastic experience we had from start to finish.
We had a choice of lots of annexe. Ones for all budgets.
We had advice on choosing and had great fun deciding the internal fixtures and fittings.
All the members of the team were so friendly and helpful.The guys worked so hard even in torrential rain.
Communication was good.
We are so happy in our new home. It’s just perfect. Very cosy and warm.
If there are any problems they are sorted quickly.
Very professional company with helpful friendly staff. Have to give a big shout out to Jan such a very lovely lady. You will not regret using iHus to build your new home.

From start to finish iHus were there, to advise and help, through planning to the final build.
The builders were clean, polite and very helpful, throughout the build. We have now been in our annexe over 2 years and could not be happier. iHus also have an app to help with maintenance etc.
All in all, a first class company to deal with

We had the annexe built for my mother as she needed support and lived quite a distance from us. From start to finish the process went very smoothly. We had an initial visit from Nigel who explained the process and the product and after investigating other companies, we decided to go ahead with I-Hus. They then took over, although we were involved at every step along the way. Planning permission is sorted out by them and once granted, in March 2023, the build began. It was completed in June that year and mum moved in soon after. She is really happy and the annexe is well built, and has everything she needs. We still maintain contact with the company and if there are any problems I would feel comfortable giving them a call and confident that it would be sorted. Great service, everyone we came into contact with from the company has been friendly and helpful .Would recommend

My parents have spent a lot of money having their annexe built to a specification that will meet their requirements both now and in the future. iHus gave my parents a number of promises when they had been let down by another annexe company and the annexe was constructed to a pretty decent standard. The problems started to occur after they had been living in it for a while, faulty fridge, windows etc but I will give iHus some credit, they did rectify these. The most recent and biggest issue has been the japense style shower toilet... My parents specified that they wanted a Geberit toilet because of their reliability and maintenance portfolio. This was itemised in the contract as a 'Wall hung Geberit smart toilet'. Fast forward to 18 months later and the toilet has a fault. An engineer has been out, no one can fix it and it turns out that iHus actually supplied a Geberit flush plate and a cheaper toilet. There has been a lot of back and forth on this and iHus are adamant that they have fulfilled their contractual obligations and have supplied the correct toilet and that a Geberit one was never promised. Even their staff have admitted that they have made an error but their Assistant Chief Operations Officer seems to be completely blinded by the clear and obvious error. He even had the audacity to offer to fit the correct toilet at an additional cost. I am left completely and utterly speechless by their lack of accountability in this matter and would advise anyone considering them to give them a wide berth.

Oh and today our link to the contract is no longer working. Coincidence? I think not!

Moved into our annex 3 years ago this month (Jan 2026) and we couldn't be happier. Thinking back to the build the process was managed very well by the team at IHUS and even now after 3 year's they have been helpful when needed. The build was marred by atrocious wet weather but the team turned up every day to complete the build. Shout outs to Jan and the team in customer service, the planning department who made the process less stressful than normal, the contractors and everyone from start to finish.

Our experience with iHus has been first class in every way. From the outset they have been nothing but professional, nothing was to much trouble, and although we had very specific needs for our Annexe, having planned it for a long period of time, every suggestion was taken on board and dealt with to suit our needs. The build teams were always prompt and professional and the customer service team were excellent, always there when we needed them. The whole project was delivered on time and completed in the worst conditions. We would have no hesitation in recommending iHus to anyone considering going down the Annexe route.

Moving into and living in my I Hus annexe has been a blessing in so many ways.I am now just next door to my daughter her husband and my two beautiful granddaughters.Everyone at I Hus from the build team design and office staff have been so helpful and created a wonderful home where I feel at peace ,safe and so comfortable.

Annexe I was 'sold'! From planning, building and aftercare I can't praise them enough, nothing too much trouble. I only wish we had done it years ago. Now been here by family nearly 3 years and I'm still thrilled with it every day.

In January 2023 we decided that an annexe in the garden would be an ideal solution to my mums living arrangements. On the 27th June 2023 the keys to our iHus annexe were handed to us and mum moved in.
It sounds simple and in actual fact the hardest part for us was finding a company for the design and build. In the event we found iHus and from that point - having decided we would go ahead, iHus took over- sorted out building permissions and coordinated everything. Everyone involved with our build did exactly what we expected as/when and how we expected.
2.5 years later the annexe is wonderful - everything is to a very high spec and most importantly mum is happily settled.

I got to iHus through a friend who had built one for her mum. I contacted them and must say this has been THE most professional, friendly experience I have had with a building company. The system is organised, it ticks without delay and moves fast. Andrew explained everything and was helpful and supportive. The planning permission went through with no issues and 2 months after that first call we were building! Jan from the office called twice a week to ensure everything was okay, Matt the manager was available, knowledgable and more of a perfectionist than me! Jo from accounting was accommodating and friendly. Within 7 weeks we have the most beautiful Annexe for my mum and we could not be happier. Absolutely amazing!!! This annexe is wonderful. It suits all Jeanne's needs and brings her much closer to her grandchildren and great grandson whilst remaining very independent. iHus is a brilliant annexe building company and would highly recommend them if anyone is thinking of a granny annexe or just an annexe for a family member.

IHus help from the very beginning, from planning permissions, to sizes of annexe and layout. Every step is easy and guided by them.
The build is quick and once you are in then snagging and follow ups are excellent.
If we had room we would build another.

We chose Ihus after a lot of research and are very pleased we did. We are really happy with the annex and it was built on time with very little stress. The process wasn't without small hiccups, which is expected in any build, but throughout we felt Ihus wanted to resolve them quickly with minimal or no extra cost to us.

We could not have wished for a better company to build an annexe for me in my parents garden, while I care for them 24/7.
Literally everyone at Ihus have been so friendly, professional & co-operative from the very first phone call of enquiry through the whole sales, planning and build to today, 4 years later with an after sales care team that are second to none.
It is a pleasure showing people around my ihus home, albeit somewhat bijoux, everybody loves it & the standards to which it is built.
I cannot recommend ihus highly enough.

Our Annexe is amazing and such a wonderful and happy place to live especially in our later years. We are so close to our family now and yet not on top of each other as we remain very independent. Family are there if we need them night or day! IHUS as a company have been and still are a excellent company to work with, If anyone is considering building a annexe we would 100% recommend them.
