Today Illinoistollway sent me an invoice!
Today I received an invoice from the illinois tollway for $127.75.
This includes: $49.75 (unpaid tolls)
$78.00 invoice fee(s)
Total amount due - $127.75
I have an iPass. The email address was incorrect as I switched from iPhone to android in Dec '22. They have my phone number, but didnt think to call to give me a heads up. Instead they waited until after the 14 day grace period so they can add these extra fees... then they mailed me an invoice. Because my CC was compromised, the bank issued a new card. I asked to speak to a supervisor and they chuckled as they told me it will be 24 hours before they get bac to me.
BREACH OF TRUST - I NO LONGER TRUST THE GHETTO STATE OF ILLINOIS.
They will do anything they feel like whenever they feel like it as they are now FLAT OUT TAKING ADVANDAGE IN ANY WAY THEY CAN.
BEST ADVICE - HURRY UP AND GET THE "F" OUT OF THIS GHETTO STATE. They are trying to steal our money instead of making us feel warm and fuzzy inside.
My Q: Why not contact me sooner giving me the heads up that something is wrong, so I can immediately address the problem?
Answer: much more money when they wait until after the 14 day period has expired. This amounts to ZERO TRUST on my behalf to the entire ghetto system. Conpletely rigged system. No benefit to illinois tollway drivers at all.
