Works as advertised

Went through two other "mobile" proxy providers before this. Both had IPs that came back as residential or datacenter on carrier lookups. Took me longer than I'd like to admit to realize the proxies were the problem and not my scripts. Illusory's actually show as T-Mobile/AT&T on carrier checks. Using them for ad verification, about a month in, nothing flagged so far. Support replied same day when I had a rotation question. Pricier than residential but that's kind of the point.

Switched to Illusory about 3 months ago…

Switched to Illusory about 3 months ago after my old provider's "mobile" IPs kept getting flagged on anything with decent bot detection. Turns out they were just residential IPs marketed as mobile, which I probably should've caught sooner. Someone on a scraping subreddit pointed me here.

The IPs are actually mobile. Checked on whatismyipaddress, checked carrier lookups, they come back as real carrier assignments. That alone sold me because I wasted weeks debugging my scripts before realizing the issue was just bad proxy quality on the previous provider.

I did have some ports timing out during my first week. Support got back to me in a couple hours and fixed it. Worth noting this is just a proxy provider, so you're not getting extras like Bright Data's Web Unlocker or built-in scraping tools. If you need that stuff you'll have to bring your own. Pricing is above residential rates, which makes sense for actual carrier IPs. No complaints there.

If you're scraping anything that cares about proxy type (so basically anything behind Cloudflare or similar at this point) these work. I wouldn't go back to what I was using before.

I wish I could rate 0 stars

I wish I could rate 0 stars. I ordered service from them many months ago and took them 5 days to even set up my account. I think was rebilled 2 days later for another week in which I wasn't even able to use the first week. In the end I was refunded all my money and I never really used the service. If you're going to advertise you have service then provide it.

STAY AWAY - Worst service ever

Worst service ever. Took forever to get my proxy setup, and was being charged for the next day even when I hadn’t even used it for the first day. Been trying to get more support on chat, telegram and black hat world and no one ever responds. Stay away.

Looking forward to hearing back!
