Criminal company acting with intention to commit criminal activity ignoring scammers and other cyber criminals

Like "askan man" also pointed out in his review, this is an - actual - criminal company directly involved in cyber crime without a care about any consequences in hosting scammers and other - in particular - Russian cyber criminals and their lewd and pornographic images, sending out spam mails after spam mails with those images linked to and hosted by imgur. After probably hundreds of abuse reports on those images, they - still - don't ban these criminals from permanently using their site nor require registration and proof of ID but on the contrary, continue to allow these criminals to upload anonymously just by using an upload button on the main page . As such is there anyone who knows about any class action lawsuits or litigation opportunities which are already or will be filed against imgur (or similar) criminal websites that are ongoing and that one could join and who are looking for actual evidence in the form of hundreds of ignored emails sent to their abuse[a]imgur.com account? If so, do tell and I can provide ample proof to support a court case to permanently take down this company and similar rogue actors.

If you like Far Left and Lefty…

If you like Far Left and Lefty propaganda, Imgur.com is the side for you. Sometimes you may find a funny Meme, but mostly adult teenagers that cries for communism in the West.

A lost cause.

Imgur descended into far-left extremism years ago. If you post anything to the right of Marx on his silliest day, correct anything, or question narratives, expect yourself to not only be downvoted but reported until you're just banned. This is tacitly endorced by Imgur and its staff.

Awful Community

Terrible mods, Liberal hellhole with a very toxic community.
The people there always have the bad takes on everything and are quite quick to downvote anything that goes against the hive's mentality.

Removes all your images! You literally can't use the website anymore

Aside from the terrible 4chan induced community, (which if you never heard of, is another terrible community known for its pedophilia, racist, and trolling behavior and commentary---aka they're trash human beings)
Imgur keeps removing your images whenever you try to host them on another website. This means that despite you hosting that image, in a couple weeks when you return, you'll find your image completely missing, replaced with a grey box that reads, "This image is no longer available".
They "claim" that it's to prevent adult content on their site, but I've had several times when content that wasn't even adult themed (like a picture of a face) was also removed from the site for no reason whatsoever.
Bear in mind, I always keep my images from being posted when I upload, and so nobody on the site should be even seeing them; why are they getting flagged?

Contacting their support does absolutely nothing, and you will find practically ALL your image removed. In fact, any images you've uploaded from way back years ago (I'm talking back from 2015, or whenever), are more than likely also removed, even if they aren't explicit. It doesn't matter. Imgur is literally just removing them all!

This cripples the site's availability to you, and you'll find no more use for the platform, as you'll be walking on eggshells as to what might be flagged for no reason, and what might not.

As Jill Valentine, and a hardcore member of S.T.A.R.S, do yourself a massive solid and leave this trash website, it's not only officially dead, but actually harmful to you, as there's no telling when imgur will turn on you, and randomly remove an important picture you are hosting to another website.

Instead, use imgbox, as that's a much better hosting platform than imgur will ever be.

Cannot even load pics to my own account…

Cannot even load pics to my own account via mobile without using their awful, hideous, buggy, low rated/ranked app. Why force us to use an app that is so bad? I have higher standards and will not stoop so low.
This hijack/hostage approach is just like the old Photo bucket scandal.Weak by imgr, avoid app, avoid imgr, go elsewhere, imgr a truly hateful user experience .

Two-faced community

It can be fun browsing images and interacting in the comment section.

But be wary, even though the community is generally leftist and progressive, it's also surprisingly toxic and tribal. Maybe this is because the demographic is mostly "kids", but it's a weird contradiction nonetheless.

Just stay out of serious discussions, or you will meet all kinds of logical fallacies and psychological biases. If your comments somehow offend "the tribe", forget about it, you will get downvoted into oblivion, no matter how reasonable your comment.

Imgur is Dead

1. Login problem that forces users to do captcha over and over again, claiming our login information is incorrect, preventing us from logging in to our accounts was the severe problem from last year, and it's still a severe problem even today. Imgur is actively refusing to fix it, blocking and ignoring anybody trying to report the problem to them.

2. Have no idea or knowledge about their own work or doing. Don't even know how to fix their messed up API, which ironically was in this messed up state because of their own doing. Using broken AI and broken algorithms to identify and remove NSFW contents that ends up blocking or removing legitimate, safe-for-work contents that have nothing to do with being adult contents at all.

3. Dead app. All images or albums appear as blank frames or removed. Reported the problem to them several times but didn't receive any response. It has been over a month and they haven't done anything to fix it. I uninstalled it immediately once I found out it only shows ads now.

4. A lot of severe problems, a lot of mess, don't have time to fix all those problems yet always have time to post cheap, immature and tasteless memes on Twitter.

Very limited appeal to normal people

I go to Imgur for play guides for a game i play online, then I get out again, and don't waste time looking at other content. I find it to be heavily populated by sock puppet accounts posting political garbage. Life is too short to waste time on that kind of mindless negativity.

not for me, nothing of interest, plenty of advertising

There was me considering joining Imgur so I just called on the website.
After an hour of search for specific photos from well-known places in Europe I gave up.
Evidently Imgur lacks appeal to European users and those from other nations with shared standards of content quality and user conduct.
