100% scam

100% scam - They use fake news stories of famous people and news corps like BBC by simply snipping the top part of their website (this is clear when you try to click sign in on the BBC) they then fabricate or completely make up a story so it looks like a BBC article but it isn't. What concerns me is that these ads are clearly not even slightly checked by Microsoft as they sit next to genuine articles - kind of disgusting how easy a scam can be accessed through legit news services.

THIS IS A SCAM

THIS IS A SCAM, don’t be fooled by their sales talk. I put in £216 and it grew quite quickly. There were issues with brokers and my suspicions started. No further calls and no trades opened. I decided to try to take my original stake out but was declined. Their online chat support is fake.

Legitimate? I just got harassed!

Having read reports and heard credible people suggesting that Immediate Vortex was an easy and legitimate way to make money, my experience led me to believe otherwise. After registering I received a call from a lady who told me not to deal with anyone else who called me and she went through the process of trying to take the initial deposit of £250. However, the system would not accept my card saying it had expired. Two days later she contacted me to try again. After two attempts the card still failed. I contacted my bank and they told me that they had blocked the payments because of potential fraud. One payment was in Euros for one amount and the other in Dollars for a different amount payable to different accounts. She pressed me to use an alternative method such as bank transfer but this just made me more wary as to the security of parting with any money. Since then I have received over 10 calls from other people desperately trying to get me to invest. Seems like a scam to me.

Following up from "I spoke to a Broker"

I get about 2 phone calls/day since first communication. All are from different numbers, probably/possibly generated via a VOIP system. One of the calls went to message bank, and it sounded like a household and some guy having a personal discussion with someone that was not me. I have since found that Immediate Bitwave are the same or use similar tactics. One of the lures is a made-up Advert from an Australian talk show where a guest is promoting the company, and the host does not believe the guest. The guest asks the host to pass over their mobile phone, they sign them up and half an hour later the host is making money via trades. Immediate Bitwave is likely similar or same company. Also Vergo Markets. There will be others. The strategy now, might be to answer their call, and talk and talk and talk with them for a good half hour or more if possible, simply to waste their time. Each and every time. Their time will be taken up with no progress and no outcome. This will 1. take up their time with no sign-up and no result for them, 2. occupy their time so they cannot use that same time calling anyone else.

It is impossible to make regular gains…

It is impossible to make regular gains as claimed by these people. Think about it. To make 1000% in a month, the stocks have to move 1000%! So either you invest thousands to make hundreds, picking "penny" stocks, or just luck out on a specific stock, it's IMPOSSIBLE!

You can make money buying or selling stocks sure, but take Disney. That lost 50% value in a year. Now you could sell at higher, buy at lower, thus making money, but Disney has been fast moving, and had potential of 50% profits! Thus not a chance these people are genuine. Frankly i'm shocked they are allowed to blatantly lie - thought there were advertising standards

They harass me daily with spam calls, non stop. They were abusive when I asked them to stop calling me & said they will keep calling me every day which they do. DO NOT SIGN UP. I’m seeking legal advice.
