Everything is great. But…. I lived in a room without a proper light for a week as it has broken on the Saturday morning and no one fixed it until the day we finished.
I enjoyed the trips and making new friendships with people from all over the world. Furthermore, the fact that all classes were fun, and engaging at the same time was what surprised me. Who knew that studying at a college for two weeks was going to be the best thing ever?
I got to learn lots of skills, like public speaking, researching skills, and critical thinking. I also got to get the experience of being away from home and living like a university student. I also got to make lots of friends not just with my peers in immerse programme but also with some NUS students.
mentors and whole experience was great
The helpfulness of the staff and the warm environment everybody created was nothing less than amazing
In my opinion the mentors were the best part of this summer camp. They were helpful and supportive, and they made even mediocre tasks very exciting.
Mainly the networking experience I've got from this. Being able to discus ideas and learn from people who are as interested in economics as I am was an enriching experience.
- Great organisation
- Great mentors
- Original activities
- Lots of good memories
I studied History at Magdalene College, Cambridge, in July 2023. The program was well-structured and I felt very supported during my time there! The mentors were very friendly and happily shared their experiences getting into and studying at schools like Cambridge and Oxford, and were fun to be around. I even got to know the College Managers well! I appreciated having a similar schedule with my peers because we got to know each other well and the activities were exciting and well-organized. I enjoyed the punting and the trips to London and Oxford very much! The accommodations and food were great. My professor was very experienced, and I acquired great skills in historical analysis that will help me apply to Cambridge this upcoming year! Overall, I enjoyed the program thoroughly and would attend again.
I had a fantastic time and learnt so much at Immerse, I made lots of friends and was able to develop my skills in Creative Writing with the support of world-class teachers.
I attended an online immerse summer course twice, once for law and once for writing. I am taking the IB now and thanks to the writing summer course, I don't struggle as much with writing essays as I did before taking this course. I still apply skills I learned there even though I did this course around 4 years ago. Last year I attended a course for law and learned so much. All though I don't want to take law in university anymore, I learned good skill that I can apply in my life either way.
The perfectly organized schedule of activities and lessons. With a lot of fun activities and opportunities. Having plenty of choices between subjects that you can study and locations where you want to study them, making it an unforgettable experience.
I sent my daughter on a summer school with Immerse Education last summer and was delighted by the experience that she had in Oxford. She was very nervous about going but the staff - and her mentor in particular - made her feel at home in a foreign country. The only thing I would say is that she is a vegan and the food was not always suitable but her mentor ensured that alternative options were made available by catering. She returned home extremely excited by everything she had learned in the Medicine course, and wants to go on another course in the USA this summer with friends she made at Immerse. So we have been in touch with the team about the New York career programs and have been delifhted by everyone we have interacted with so far
A once in a life time experience at Cambridge University!
During my participation in the creative writing program not only was I able to immerse myself into the world of writing and literature amongst my diverse group of peers, but also learn from the insight of newfound friends who came from other subjects such as medicine or engineering.
The guidance from the mentors and the teachers was exceptional as they showed their experience in guidance and mentorship at every opportunity. From one to one help to provide students the skills to achieve their full potential from guiding us with study and time management skills, I am truly grateful of both my group mentor and my course teacher.
The friends, connections and experiences that I made at Cambridge are ones that I will never forget as they provided me with the experience, knowledge and motivation to become the talented student I am today!
I had an incredible time as the group leaders were very supportive and helped us a lot. I met a lot of amazing people, would recommend.
My experience with Immerse at Cambridge was the best. Our routine was active and varied, I got to meet lots of interesting new friends whom I still talk to now and the course itself enabled me to feel confident in the career and education I wanted to pursue in university. The Immerse team were really friendly and the mentors very helpful and easy to approach. Safe to say it was worth the trip.
My experience as an immerse student for two weeks can only be described as "epic". The courses were amazing and the knowledge i gained from them has really helped me to improve my skills. I still keep contact with the international friends I've met during my time at the programme. The immerse experience will always be in my heart and in my head.
Going to the immerse education helped me understand the topic I went to learn, also most of the activities were fun. The people that went there were pretty good, counting the mentors. Going to immerse was a very good choice in my opinion.
