Unfortunately, it is impossible to rent/subscribe to a car via imove for newcomers to Sweden. A main part of their procedure is a credit check based on your swedish tax declaration for the previous year - so if you were not working in Sweden the year before, you won't pass it. And they won't accept your current certificate of employment/lönespecifikation etc.
I can say they answer quite fast! If I won't find anything else, could probably try them again next year.

To anyone thinking about using this company one word DON'T ! I have moved many times over the years and this was by far the worst experience. IMOVE hires cheap movers ( notice I didn't say inexpensive) and the service reflects. Showed up late and spent the next ~ 13 hours till 1AM and still did not finish. I had to hire another mover to complete at my expense. Additionally I paid for packing and unpacking and ~
50% was packed and NONE unpacked. Lastly I have damage. Cracked TV screen and a new refrigerator dinged up pretty bad. Finally I have been trying to resolve but IMOVE has not been responsive. Folks, they may have an enticing low price but it is not at all worth the heartache.

Follow up. after waiting over a month IMOVE insurance company offered a total of $99 for the damage above as well as not reimbursing me when I had to hire another mo ver to complete my move.

Again, please be wary if your thinking of working with these people.

A little expensive but an excellent alternative to the more established rental companies if looking for a long term rental.
There was an issue with the availability of my initial reservation but quickly resolved.
