Not even single star should be given.
Their website says 0% processing fees but they took almost 40% of the fund raised for myself.
Also the fund disbursement is not the easy one.. I will waiting for 2 weeks for it and still no positive news for the impact guru team.
Almost 165000 was collected out of which they took 75000 and still no return of the remaining funds to my account..

SERIOUS WARNING - Dont fall into their trap ever. They dont do anything except for creating a donation link and then whatever is collected from your friend circle they scrape a good 35 to 40% in different heads (no transparency at all) and keep poking and pestering you to spread it to all your contacts in FB and LinkedIn. What are are you scamming us for 40% when you dont get any one to contribute.
I think i heard there are some other platforms that are much more transparent and supportive.
We had a horrid experience altogether

ImpactGuru is a complete scam. They do nothing except fool desperate people, take their money, and give fake hope. Absolutely shameful and disgusting service.”
Real fundraising support. Guidance on reaching donors, actual promotion beyond just making an ad, and assistance in getting genuine donations instead of leaving everything on the family’s network. None of this was provided.”

They have no empathy for anyone... Thier only target is to make money... There are lots of genuine NGO's i would request every responsible citizen to donate through them.
The is a sham and will come down crumbling any day soon. #frauds at loose

One of the worst fund raising platform in India, they just use your money.
First they say to you to raise money by your owns means forward it to your familiar one, once they have that money they will take 12% amount from that and give the remaining one. That is not a fund raising that is fraud. Please don't waste your money here.

Impact guru collects funds and never give it to the campaineer as they are fraud. So people beware of this organisation. Impactguru is a cheaters organisation.

I used ImpactGuru a few times, and after that I suddenly started receiving scam messages on WhatsApp along with suspicious phone calls. It really makes me feel like someone inside ImpactGuru might be leaking customer data to scammers on the dark web.
Be careful, guys — scammers are everywhere.
For comparison, I donated through Ketto’s crowdfunding platform many times and never received a single scam call or message. But the moment I started using ImpactGuru, the scammers were all over me.

Context:
They called, made their pitch for an urgent requirement, and enrolled me into a monthly subscription while I clearly stated I wanted to do a 1 time donation. Have already been billed twice without my consent.
Main issue: Impossible to contact and cancel, especially as an NRI. Highlights below-
+Can't login from a Laptop browser (first screen will require mobile number with OTP, next screen is registration, regisration wont go through and will ask you to login via email, but no option to login with my email anywhere)
+Can only login after downloading the app and using the email login option
+After locating my subscription, in order to 'manage' and cancel, the app abruptly crashes, by design, all the time. It works seamlessly to add new subscriptions.
+Their helpline/contact number is only reachable from India, not abroad
+There's an option to raise a concern on the website, but it needs a mandatory India mobile number to lodge a ticket
+There's an email option, which I did use to contact them. No response ever.
Only contact is through whatsapp with the person who called me to get my donation. After pursuing him for a few days incessantly I was able to get this cancelled from their back end.
Do not become a donor to this platform as their practices are dodgy and unethical. Their self-serve options on the website and the app, seem to be deliberately rigged for donors to not be able manage their subscriptions.

My Honest review I worked with Impact Guru for approximately nine months, and I would like to share my experience in a professional and transparent manner.
When I joined, I was assigned to the GEM (Give Every Month) department. I was initially motivated because I believed the funds were directly benefitting critically ill children. I worked with full dedication to engage donors and support these causes.
However, over time I observed several practices that raised concerns for me. A one-time donation link was placed on a separate website and shown as part of the monthly program. When I requested clarity or proof regarding how the collected funds were being utilised, I did not receive clear responses.
I also learned that the Fund Utilisation Reports (FUR) provided to donors were often edited internally rather than reflecting transparent or verifiable utilisation details. Donors contribute with genuine intentions, and I felt uncomfortable not having clear visibility into the actual disbursement of funds.
Additionally, during one of my calls, a campaigner informed me that a baby’s surgery had been completed months earlier, yet funds were still being collected for the same campaign. This raised further doubts about the accuracy of the information shared with donors, especially international contributors who believed they were supporting an active medical case.when I asked they said the amount will help other baby but on FUR it's mention the same baby name it's confused
When I decided to leave the organisation, my experience with the exit process was disappointing. My salary was held for nearly four months, and certain deductions were made without clear justification. This added to the concerns I already had regarding internal transparency.
My intention with this feedback is to share my personal experience so donors can make informed decisions. If anyone wishes to contribute, I would recommend opting for **one-time donations**, as the utilisation of funds under the monthly program lacked transparency based on what I observed.
This review reflects only my personal experience during my tenure.

We wanted to express our disappointment with the fundraiser site. Unfortunately, a significant portion of the amount, nearly half, has been deducted in taxes and GST, which was not clearly communicated upfront. This has been quite disheartening for us. We hope for more transparency in future campaigns regarding deductions.

Very deceptive. Lot of hidden charges. Also they dont show total amount donated so far by individuals and collected so far. Why hide the data. Other donation website dont hide the data.

Reply from Impact Guru
Your campaign images capture people's attention by showing patients in difficult circumstances, but the donation link defaults to your generic campaign rather than the specific one featured in the pictures.
This creates the impression that we are donating to help the specific patient or case shown, while in reality, the funds go to a generic campaign instead(which is not why I was here in the first place!!)
Donors must manually change the option under “You are donating to” from “Critically Ill” to “Profiled Patient” to ensure their contribution supports the intended case. Otherwise, the donation is directed to a generic campaign that many donors may not be aware of.
In short, the campaign draws people in under one pretext but defaults them to another cause unless they carefully read and adjust the options. Although there’s a small note explaining this, I believe many donors are likely to overlook it.
(I’ve been a past donor, and it’s disappointing to find out that my donation didn’t entirely reach the campaign I meant to support.!!)

It's a complete scam, never trust on this croud fund raising app, they won't help to raise any fund but keep calling you everyday to share with your family and friends.
They deduct more than 50% of the raised amount without any clarification. Please don't use this app, it's a complete scam in the name of helping needy people.

This is a total scam! They take advantage of people who are in desperate need of financial assistance and once the person passes away also they continue to collect money and return nothing to the family!

I am tired of receiving their calls and emails 24x7. This is literal harassment when I have told them a thousand times to take me off their database.
