Fabulous event. Pick ups and drop offs were well organised in a luxury coach. Seats at GP were excellent. We had booked one twin room but this wasn’t known by the hotel (the 3rd time this has happened... See more

Firstly I’ll start off with the good bits. I had 2 very good events with Imperial Corporate Events in 2024 and the British GP in 2025. They are expensive and I was paying personally vs through a company. But the organisation was good (the sales are very pushy though).
However my main concern is the lack of communication, and completely lack of any refund. I had unfortunately been admitted to hospital for 3 weeks when I should have been going to an event that I had paid nearly £1000 for. I had explained I couldn’t attend and would like them to consider a refund. Apart from one email saying the decision was going to go to the board of directors and I would be notified within 3 days - I hadn’t heard anything until the day of the event (which I was still in hospital). The decision was that they wouldn’t refund me but that I could send other people in my place (they told me with no notice to find anyone else).
So my main advice is please strongly consider using Imperial Corporate Events - as the communication isn’t good and there are absolutely no refunds.

Great for getting tickets for sell out events, often with varying packages available. Communication is always very good and everything is provided on time, with a number to call on the day if anything goes wrong.

The show itself I found interesting and the meal before was to a good standard. All in all we had a nice time but at what cost? I can't remember the exact cost but recall it to be £800+ for two people. The set meal we had on offer was priced at £49 each so let's call that £100 for two and the show was half full and from experience, that tells me I'd have picked tickets up on the night for £50 each. All in all, I feel I got £200 worth of event for £800 so feel it was a tad oversold?... Feel free to tell me otherwise?....

It pains me to say, that whilst the sales and platform are good, the unrelenting telephone calls chasing for money is simply to much!

Hands down the most amazing experience, Kind George Day hosted by Imperial Corporate Events at Ascot.
The day was part of my 40th birthday celebrations, and exceeded all expectations. Nothing was too much for the staff, the food was exquisite and The Function Band, WOW they totally made the day and were phenomenal.
Thankyou Imperial for making such a special weekend out of this world. We will 100% be booking via you guys again, you thought of every detail to make it such a memorable and next level fantastic event!!

The third time we have been and the last. Food was very good . Standard of service well below average. One or two girls on the case, however food waiting staff useless but what do you expect when you employ kids with no experience . The lead singer kept shouting rather than singing. He also kept swearing as he thought he was in Oasis..what a bell…!!
Over and OUT !!

My recent experience at Ascot king George day organised by imperial corporate events was an unbelievable day from start to finish. I received a full itinerary explaining the day, I was welcomed by the imperial team and looked after fabulously all day. The function band were simply outstanding creating a brilliant atmosphere. We are already looking forward to next year.

I’ve worked with many hospitality providers over the years, both professionally and personally, and I can confidently say Imperial Events has been the worst experience by far.
Their sales tactics are relentless and aggressive. I received repeated calls—including weekends—from different phone numbers to bypass call screening. The representatives are trained to apply constant pressure, pushing for on-the-spot commitments with phrases like “last chance” or “extremely limited availability.” It’s a hard sell environment that leaves no room for reflection or due diligence.
One Saturday, while admittedly not in the best shape (hungover), I was pressured into securing a Glastonbury package with a 10% deposit. Most hospitality firms I deal with are understanding and flexible, especially given our history of regular bookings. Not Imperial. When I later explained that I could no longer attend due to my sons’ A-Level and GCSE exams, they dismissed it outright—and threatened legal action to pursue full payment, regardless of attendance.
Eventually, I was allowed to swap for what they called a “comparable experience” at the Wimbledon Men’s Final. We paid £35,866.20 for two tickets—booked back in October for a July event, so definitely not last-minute.
When we attended, it became obvious that others in the same package had paid £7,000–£8,000—£20,000 less than us. When I raised this, the response was shocking: no explanation, no credit, no goodwill gesture. Nothing.
This isn’t just unethical—it’s short-sighted business. Had they acted with integrity, they would have earned far more from our future bookings. Instead, they chose to squeeze every last penny out of one deal.
There are plenty of reputable, transparent hospitality providers out there. I think you should look elsewhere.
Don’t just take my word for it—read the many other reviews that echo the same concerns.

Had the most amazing experience on king George day at Ascot. The venue was brilliant, with great views of the racecourse. the staff were so professional and friendly. Food and drinks 10 out of 10. And what made the day even more special, was the live band playing around the room, and giving everyone the perfect lift for a fantastic day.
