This is a long review, but when you are planning a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Egypt, every detail matters so I hope you find this helpful.

We just returned from a 10-day private tour of Egypt, expertly planned by Imperial Egypt and Mido Mosa, and we had an absolutely outstanding experience. The level of customer service was exceptional from start to finish. Thanks to Imperial Egypt, we were able to see so much of the country, and every part of the trip was seamless and impeccably organized.

We began our journey in Cairo, then flew to Luxor to board a 4-night Nile cruise from Luxor to Aswan. Our boat, El Nabilatan, is listed as a 5-star cruiser. While we had a spacious suite at the front of the ship with a wonderful balcony, the ship itself could use some TLC. If you’re a true 5-star traveler, you may want to request a newer vessel.

Each day was filled with incredible sights. The weather was absolutely perfect, and one of the highlights in Luxor was an unforgettable sunrise hot air balloon ride over the ancient sites, including the Valley of the Kings.

After the cruise, we traveled to Abu Simbel in southern Egypt, which was truly breathtaking and well worth the journey. We then flew back to Cairo for three additional days of exploration. With our private guide and driver, we visited all the major sights around Cairo. One day, we also took a trip to Alexandria on the Mediterranean Sea to see Pompey’s Column and the Citadel.

We bookended our trip with stays at the Steigenberger Hotel in Cairo, which offered spectacular rooms and incredible views. Its location - right across from the Pyramids and the new Grand Egyptian Museum - was unbeatable. The museum itself was amazing! Do not miss it!

I would also like to recognize the incredible team who made this trip so special. All of our guides were professional Egyptologists who taught us so much about Egypt’s rich history. Our private drivers were equally important: always safe, reliable, and essential for navigating the country comfortably.

I would especially like to highlight our outstanding guides at each location:

Cairo and Alexandria: Hend (she/her) at the beginning of our trip and Rawan (she/her) at the end were both fantastic. They were knowledgeable, engaging, and knew all the best photo spots capturing countless amazing pictures that we will treasure for a lifetime. Our Cairo driver, Mohamed, was excellent -- very safe and dependable. Highly recommend asking for him!

Luxor (Luxor Temple, Karnak Temple, Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple, Colossi of Memnon): Hossam (he/him) guided us for two days and was absolutely amazing. His depth of knowledge and storytelling made the history come alive for all of us, including our kids.

Edfu Temple: Asma (she/her) made our visit truly enjoyable with her engaging and informative storytelling.

Kom Ombo (Aswan): Esam (he/him) was outstanding! We could have spent hours listening to him explain the temple’s history and carvings. He’s also a fantastic photographer - we came away with beautiful photos.

Abu Simbel: Saleh (he/him) guided us through this breathtaking site and did a wonderful job explaining its significance.

Philae Temple and The High Dam: Emad Aiad (he/him) was a spectacular guide with deep expertise. He made the experience fascinating for both adults and kids - truly exceptional. The lunch spot he chose for us was truly amazing and the boat ride around the Philae Temple was unforgettable.

Do not hesitate to plan your trip with Imperial Egypt and Mido Mosa. They are outstanding, and I will recommend them to all of our friends and family without hesitation!

This was, overall, an enjoyable trip. The boat was in good condition and so were the rooms. Mohamed Abdo, our guide, was one of the highlights of this trip - explained everything we wanted to know and even helped us make arrangements for our travels after the cruise. There are, however, some aspects that could be improved as well, such as the paid Wi-Fi connection (which was not always working properly), and the food variety (especially if you are vegetarian) and taste, which was, all in all, a bit bland.

We had a great time in the Nabilatan cruise. Our guide Mohamed Abdo is a very knowledgeable guide, he took the time to make sure every members’ needs were attended to and that no questions were left unanswered. He also helped us with planning our trip after the cruise ended. Our boat was in overall good condition. The bedrooms were spacious and cleaned everyday. The food could be a bit better but was varied and there were different options everyday. We were not expecting to have to pay for the WiFi, and given the fact that it is paid, it didn’t work all the time. Overall it was a great 3 nights and 4 days, and we surely recommend it.

Hady was awesome! Really knows his stuff, I especially enjoyed how he gave us all the insight we needed to go off on our own and enjoy the sights without feeling the need to have a guide with us at all times. That just goes to show how experienced he is.

A Review of Mr. Hady and his tour(Imperial Egypt)

The detailed while entertaining explanations that covers well-scheduled trips to different historically and architectureally valued places, leaving meaningful insight to those who experienced the advanture. The experience given could be particularlly special and mesmerizing because of the interesting explanation from the tour guide which elaborated on the sites in further extend to where everyone seemed to enjoy the information learnt without neither getting boared nor getting distracted;additionally, the sites picked demonstrates the complexity of Ancient Egyption architecturea and temples. Lastly, the "Good" cruise boat (according to Mr. Hady..) gave calming as well as relaxing transportation method, and the food of the cruise being exeptional while compared to other foods in Egypt for tourists. It not only has shown higher level of higine in the cafeteria but also in the cruise room, offerring comfort and easy transportation through the trip. However, the sites picked contained people who were willing to fool tourists to buy items at a higher price than usual(scam) causing confusion and discomfort as the sellers followed the tourists even though they did not want them to.

Had a wonderful experience with our tour guide Hady Ahmed with Imperial Egypt. He’s so patient and kind and knowledgeable. He was patient and considerate of our needs, especially with young children.

Very Good! Our tour guide, Hady from Imperial Egypt was really amazing and made all the diference for our experience. We are from Brazil and Argentina and was very easy to understand all the explanation of our English guide .
The Nilo Cruise was a time Travel to the history

I and my family of 16 decided on taking this incredible journey through time. 6 children under the ages of 8 including infants and my 6 adult children. Our guide Hadi Ahmed was extremely knowledgeable and took his utmost care to make us comfortable. Accommodations including the food prep was par excellence. Travel between all points of interest was seemless. I would not hesitate to recommend Imperial Egypt for any of your future travels.

The tour guide Hady has been amazing! Really knowledgeable, incredibly patient with the group, and good fun all round. The boat too is amazing, sailing along the nile is such a special experience. The temples too have been outstanding.

The only things to be aware of - be prepeared to wake up early, most days start between 3:30am-5:30am because we either have to get to the temples before the huge crowds gather or a 8-10 hour round car drive to Abu Simbel to be there for 1 and a half hours. This cruise is not for relaxing from our experience, lots of moving on and off the boats and being hassled by locals, but that is to be expected in each town and the tour guide was always there to help in all situations.

Hady was an excellent guide with an amazing knowledge of Egypt. His English was very good. We enjoyed our excursions which were explained very well. He kept us smiling and happy and well organized. Premiere Tours.

Had a fantastic trip with Imperial. Mido arranged our side tour tour of Islamic Cairo and even arranged a pick up at the airport which was much appreciated. Hadi-tour guide in Aswan and Luxor was very special. His knowledge and explanations were number 1. I learned so much about Egypt. Highly recommend this agency.

Wow! I am grateful to Imperial Egypt for curating a spectacular trip that included visits to Karnak, Luxor, Valley of the Kings, Queen Hatshepsut's temple, Kom Ombo, Edfu, Aswan, Abu Simbel, Philae Temple, the brand-new Grand Egyptian Museum, and the Pyramids at Giza. All meals and transportation were included. Many of the tours were private. Driving to and from temple sights were included. The trip was well-organized and made navigating Egypt easy.

The highlight of the experience was our incredible tour guide Mido, whose study of Egyptology and knowledge of thousands of years of history were excellent. He was such a friendly and engaging guide. In addition, Hady, Asmaa, Tamer, and other staff members were excellent. A special shout-out to Mohamed for his wonderful tour of the Giza pyramids and the Grand Egyptian Museum. Mohamed took us through all 12 historical galleries, and two galleries dedicated to King Tutankhamen.

The 7 night experience was inclusive of a 4 night river cruise down the Nile, a gorgeous, scenic river that ties the whole trip together. Also, there was a 3 night stay at the Hilton in Cairo, which allowed for a tour of Giza. From the moment we stepped off the plane until we left Egypt, we knew we were in good hands.

To be able to visit a culturally and historically-enriching land such as Egypt is a once in a lifetime experience that I will never forget. Thank you to Mido and his team for organizing such a great trip for us.

Very organized and fun travel service. A great way to see Egypt and fairly priced. Hady was great. Very safe. Lots of crowds in the December travel season for Egypt, but I feel like they navigated it very well.

There are not enough great things I can say about Imperial Egypt!!

I am so unbelievably thrilled with how our trip turned out. We had 30 people flying in on five different flights and they handled every transfer, every connection, every meal, every tour, every everything SEAMLESSLY!

Hady, was the best of the best! Our group had 13 children that were under 18 and he was FANTASTIC with them. He explained everything in a way that engaged them and so that they understood.

He had phenomenal recommendations (hot air balloon and boat rides) and guided us on purchases. He made tipping all our drivers, luggage handlers, etc. easy and efficient!

Shout outs to Tamer/Mr. T, Mido, Hady, and all of Imperial Egypt. We will be back!!
