Respiratory Specialist

l'm 90 years old and suffer with Asthma. I also have mild COPD and bronchiectasis.

About two weeks ago my coughing, wheezing and breathing became more troublesome so I submitted a request for an emergency face to face appointment at my GP surgery, only to be declined. Instead I was told to book an appointment with the nurse and given a face to face appointment for the 19th February.

On the morning of the 19th February at about 4am my coughing worsened as did my breathing. I called an ambulance. The crew gave me oxygen and checked my temperature, telling me it was 38c which required me to go to A&E Margate.

It was quickly confirmed I had double pneumonia and I was admitted to the critical care unit.

Looking back and having failed to get an emergency appointment at my surgery, I wish I'd immediately contacted Stephen Foster of Imperium Healthcare. He is a Respiratory Specialist who has helped me on numerous occasions in the past.

He charges £35 for the first consultation and £20 for follow-ups.”
