Cheap Products With a High Price Point

I purchased two Inbani Strato vanity units via West One Bathrooms. My builder expressed concerns about using a bare wood surface in a wet-room environment, but I was assured the material was suitable for bathroom use.

Within days of first use, the wooden top began to warp, bubble, and split, despite regular drying and careful use. The issue quickly worsened, and over the following weeks I documented extensive deterioration across the full surface with photos and videos.

When the damaged top was removed, it was found to be damp, discoloured, warped, and splitting — damage clearly caused by material failure rather than installation.

Despite repeatedly raising the issue, Inbani made no attempt to contact me, and West One Bathrooms offered no meaningful support or resolution.

Based on my experience, the wooden versions of the Inbani Strato vanity are not fit for purpose and should be avoided, and the customer service is lacking.
