Can't activate the card. Phone number on their own correspondence does not connect. Web site is extremely poor.
Again unable to finish activating. Will be checking with my employer to see who decided to use these clowns.

Believe all the reviews. Omnicard are indeed thieves. I was also issued of rewards card through my employer for $500. Before I had a chance to activate the card it was expired. I called the company to get another card, and I was told once the card expired the funds belonged to them. They explained this was all in a contract I never saw or was ever made aware of. I can't believe that this is legal. This is a fraudulent scam company. They are raking in money hand over fist on the backs of unsuspecting, uninformed people. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau and the FDIC to lodge complaints. I'm also going to contact my local legislative person about this.

Omni Card are thieves! DO NOT USE THIS CARD SEEVICE!!!! I had received a Rewards Card through my insurance company. I tucked it away in my wallet and forgot about. I rediscovered the card and it was expired. I called Omni Card, I explained the situation and that the card had never been used. The woman on the phone told me it's in the contract of the card when the card is purchased for use that upon expiration the funds are no longer accessible or refunded. Being I did not purchase the card how would I know the logistics of the contract? The card was only for $15, but it's the principal that this company steals your money because they can and there is nothing you can do about it. Boycott, Cancel and shut down Omni Card! Unless you don't mind third world country thieves stealing your money.

FRAUD/THEFT - Omni card
I received a gift card for a substantial amount due to my years of service with my company which happened during the pandemic. Imagine my surprise when I went to use the card and was advised there was a zero balance - the card expired. Absolutely ridiculous. This is theft! A Scam. I strongly advise that no employer/company entertain these cards as they do employees/customers a disservice. It would be nice to get my money back.

TO MY KNOWLEDGE OF UNDERSTANDING, This is a scam. Looks real. With the SECURE PIN envelope sent separately than card. Don't phone any numbers, don't download any apps, don't go on website and upload money onto IT with your credit card. It will load download malware into your computer or phone and steal money and details. ALLEGEDLY. OF COURSE!!

I asked for my replacement card and I still have not received my funds back from them
Manager who claimed his name is Jofias. P told me I have a 0 balance when I certainly dont. As I can see my account balance online

Can’t do zero stars 🙄 This is a huge rip-off and scam. It’s impossible to activate the award card by phone and can’t be done on edenreds pretend website either. If appears you’ve made progress then it takes you to a page made to look like its infecting your pc! They make money by premium rate calls. Just bin the card and cut your losses. I will be going back to the insurance company that gave it to me with my policy though..

Fraudulent company - stay away!!

Activated my card and sent to use it balance was depleted. I got the transaction history all fraud been on hold 3 hours don’t look like I’m getting my money back.

I agree that this company is the absolute worst. My company spent $800k in gift card that went to spam. I spent 3 weeks contacting our rep with no avail to resolve the issue. Then we sent the wire and received no repose or gift card. Trying to figure this out. It is SO frustrating! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPAY! Chose someone else if you can, it’s a sham.

Worst gift card ever. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE. I have tried to use this card 10 times. Still cannot find a way to use it. They don't take it online. They don't take it live. Maybe once we have space travel the Martians will accept this POS. Oh wait, it will have no value left because they steal $5 month when it isn't being used. And of course it isn't being used because nobody will accept the card.

I received two $500 Visa cards from my employer for a years of service anniversary reward. I was excited and put them aside as part of my emergency fund. I'm now unemployed and need that money. Imagine my surprise when I went to use them and there was no money left! I didn't think Visa cards expired. Apparently these cards did and my account balance is now 0. This is outrageous! How can they simply take the money away?

I received the gift card as a reward from a reputable company, but when I tried to use the card, no place would accept it. I don't know what you have to do to use it. Apparently the address of the company who gave it to me didn't match my address (well of course not!). It started to decrease by $4.95 per month. Finally, it expired. Down the drain went my $300 reward. I think this company may have now gone out of business - I can understand why!

Well I too was scam after following through everything I received a letter stated I won 100.00 and thanks for everything. That I would recieve my award up to 30day to 4wrks. Well received my visa gift card 0 balance...thanks you guys were no help at all. First you said it had 100.00 went shopping and by no surprise not..worst customers skills

i received a rebate when i bought yokohama tires issued by OMNICARD. it had $60 on it to start with, i used it once for a purchase and when i went to use the last few dollars, the card is no longer any good. thats a load of crap because even though its only $9 to me, who's to say its not happening to anyone else for more. there should be a fraud investigation into this company

I received this card as a anniversary present and was trying to pay a credit call bill. I done it before with other gift cards. When I went and tried to make the payment they said it was declined. I am highly disappointed. I’ve never heard of a card that I could not make a payment to.

Scammers/Fraud/Criminals!!!!
We got a card from my husbands work. The $$$ was not used & it expired. This is FRAUD!!! Some of these cards don't even last 6 months, some even less. I'm not giving up because this company is stealing from people. I have contacted news media & they were very interested in hearing my story so they can do a report on this. Shame on this company from stealing from innocent people. I will be also posting on every form on Social Media I can so companies will not do business with this scam/company!!! PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE GIFT CARDS FROM THEM!!!

SCAM.. SCAM... IF I could give negative stars I would. Stay away from this company. I was issued a rebate from a purchase I did. Before I used all my funds the card expired. I contacted Omni Card and they said the funds are gone. Funds just don’t disappear. They are keeping the funds. Why can’t they just issue me a new card with the remaining balance? Now I’m out of over $200

I received a $100 dollar Visa Omnicard and never used it. When I went to check the balance, it went to zero. There was an expiration date on the card (less than 2 months ago it expired!) But I had just received the card last year and didn't think a gift card could expire (especially in the state of CA). I called customer support and the agent sounded like a robot reading lines. The agent said I had to ask the person who gifted me the card for a new card. I am unable to reach the person who gifted me this card and am now out $100 which I thought was on a card that could be treated like cash. Very disappointed with this card and its customer service. I would even understand if they were upfront about fees or deduction after inactivity but to not even be able to honor replacing the card for a fee is terrible and scammy!

Scam and very bad customer service
i received a visa card as part of a competition for attending a conference about 10 months back. Little did i know that i only had 10 months to use the card.
When i called customer server, i was immediately told that they could not do anything. The agent's name was Nancy and its as if she was reading off the script. After expressing my concerns for a few minutes, she then instructed me to reach out to the company where i can received the card from. what sort of advise is that?? had this been a omnicard that i had received as a wedding or birthday gift, am i expected to reach out to my guest to give me back my money?? i asked to speak to her supervisor. I was told that he was in a meeting. i am like "ok, can he/she call me back?". Nancy then acknowledged that was possible. i dont understand why i had to be the one providing options especially since she was in customer service.

I received a call about 30 minutes later from the "supervisor", Alex. He said that EXACT same things that nancy said and that he coudnt do anything. i told him that i needed the money to buy diapers for my 1 year. i even requested them to charge me a penalty for not using the card within the required time but alteast issue a new card. sadly, no help there.

what i don't understand is that, this same has happened with other CC companies such as vanilla etc. upon calling them, they always gladly reissued a new card to me(minus a processing free of around $10). why is omni card policies different?

im in customer service myself and i am not going to let this rest. i am planning to reach out to conference organizer and asked them not to deal with omnicard anymore.

Extremely frustrating company policies. Please avoid at them at all cost!!
