Offer no help what so ever to their clients!

As a company we have used Indeed for years. We get plenty of response to jobs so no need to pay, when we have paid for a job ad we have had next to no response. They have now started to not make the ads live and tell us we need to pay if we want it live but its not all my ads just the odd one. I have told them i am not paying when they give a service for free ads. To be told you cant keep doing this long term. If you offer it people are going to take it and as paying for ads gives us no applications why pay?
Our so called account manager is rude and useless. In 2 years i have been here we are on are 3rd account manager and the last was changed without letting us know, no introduction to say I'm your new account manager. Really do not recommend them at all.

WORSE THAN USELESS

WORSE THAN USELESS

We have used Indeed for many years and the site was adequate, it had problems but support were always helpful and even available on the phone. Posted the same Job Listing that we had used for all that time, it was verified and viewable for several weeks then suddenly blocked leaving candidate’s CV’s unviewable, candidates uncontactable and interviews hanging, utterly unprofessional, letting down potential employers and dumping candidates..

Every message to support returns the same standard system generated response.

On one response I was advised that the job was non compliant but if I paid it could be posted.

The job is listed with Job Centre Plus and fully legitimate and legally compliant.

Indeed has reengineered the site recently such that it is very difficult to post a free job which is one of the things that they are keen to promote, every page is designed to lead the user to accidentally sign up for a paid promotion.
On one occasion I was given a free number of days sponsored listing so that Indeed could prove that I would be so much better off paying for my listing, over the sponsored period I had less than half the usual responses.

It seems that there are now only algorithms and fake “support staff” will little avatars but no actual people. You cannot contact anyone at Indeed now and the truth appears to be that no human is checking or responding to anything there is no intelligence in the system at all.
When I put up a vacancy for a dog trainer the new iteration of the site made me click though it’s “specially selected candidates based on my vacancy”, I had software engineers, cleaners, mechanics, not one with any animal interest.

Useless site, worse than useless, it wastes the time of busy professionals.

I would like to leave no stars

I would like to leave no stars, but 1 is the lowest.
Unable to talk to anyone to discuss my problem, all you get when asking question via the web site is see our terms and conditions with no explanation as to why my job was not posted and my account suspended, the same job description can be posted on the UK Job Seekers with no problem. The vacancy has been posted on the indeed site for a number of years previous with no problem, I suspect the change in the situation is we are not paying for special service. We have done that in the past and we got less response than normal. We even helped Indeed with a survey some years ago to help improve the service!!

Complain

Dear Sir/Madam,

With the hope this message meets you well.
I wish to draw your attention to the applications I have submitted through your organisation which has not yeilded any positive response so far. After all my efforts in applying for work visa sponsorship from abroad I keep having recruiters asking if I have the right to work in the UK or they don't have sponsorship for the job even if the job advert conveys offer of sponsorship. I think this is not encouraging not only to me but others seeking for opportunity to work in the UK from abroad.
I will appreciate if you will only send me alert on those currently recruiting with definite offer of certificate of sponsorship (Cos).
Thank you.

The new billing system is terrible

The new billing system is terrible. If you don't reject applicants you will have to pay for them....Even if they are not adequate for the job you are listing. They expect you to log in during the weekend as well. Tried to contact custumer care twice and no reply! Stick to facebook ads....cheaper!

Rubbish

Rubbish. Was recommended by J Coates to apply forHGV driving jobs? Only just passed. Keep getting told I have 28 years of experience. Jobs are nowhere near where I live. Been offered a carpentry job! As for cancelling my profile? Spent an hour looking for the part the help section tells me of? Can’t speak to anyone. Had three job enquiries this after literally miles away from where I live. Not happy.

App and Website haven't worked properly…

App and Website haven't worked properly for months. Very slow, not loading, can't follow through applications and unfortunately is linked to Glassdoor for submitting applications from there making both sites quite useless.
Can't use the "date posted" function to remove all older jobs that would have closed already - this hasn't worked for at least 2 months. Now none of the options work - for location/remote, date posted, distance etc.
My web browser and app are up to date. No option available to provide direct feedback to Indeed. FAQs don't cover the issue. Trying to apply for a job today - can't submit through Glassdoor because it can't take me to Indeed and can't submit on Indeed because I can't even open the job to then follow the "Apply" process!

I gave Indeed.uk one last chance to improve their score on their customer care and ability to perform as an outstanding job search engine and they failed to send me any employment roles which were compatible with my work experience, skills, achievements and also qualifications including reputations of universities attended. An absolute disgrace yet again from Indeed.uk. I hope as a result of their incompetence that their business goes into liquidation.

Indeed, NO!

I have tried to use Indeed for the first time to post a vacancy with my company, I completely fulfilled the requirements but Indeed have refused to post the vacancy without giving any valid reason, despite numerous emails I just seem to be going round in circles.
If you’re looking to recruit, use a different job site, absolutely pathetic excuse for a company.

One Word..... Diabolical !!!!

Diabolical. No other word. Over priced and for the service received, which frankly is shocking, absolutely not worth it. They don't give a damn about customers advertising with them. I called to ask for some help and was basically fobbed off. Full of applicants ticking boxes probably for benefits purposes and for each application that costs me £3. Out of 60 applications, when we reached out to them only 4 out of the 60 actually engaged further past the point of application. Doesn't that tell you something? Vetted my backside. Huge companies like this really do not give a damn. Just money making cog spinners and we are the mugs who fund them. INDEED YOU WILL NEVER GET ANOTHER PENNY OUT OF ME!!!!

no customer service

I have sold my business and I am trying to close the Indeed account or at least cancel my debit card.
There is no clear information how to do either, links to inappropriate pages, no telephone number, help pages that do not help.
It seems they do everything to avoid an emplyer closing an account.
