The Independent Photographer contests and magazine have offered me a global stage in my beginning chapters as a drone photographer....I can't thank them enough for their encouragement and support.

Many thanks to the entire team of "The Independent Photographer" for presenting my work "Only one" on the pages of "The Washington Post" as the winner (1st place) B&W 2020/21, excellent review from Judge Bastiaan Woudt. Also, I felt a sense of pride again when I got into the TOP 10 amazing aerial photographs (taking 1st place). Thus, "The Independent Photographer" confirms the wide audience of viewers around the world and the high class of judging. My respect, Mikhail Potapov.

The TIP Team is very professional and kind.
I found all the organization high level, I also appreciated the level of the judges.
There are many photographic contests around but only few of them are able to inspire and guide, to make you feel a part od the process and the embrace all tipe of creativity.

Still I can't believe that I took the first prize of Street photography competition. I really want to thank from the bottom of my heart all the incredible team of TIP and Nikos Economopoulos for selecting my work and for the incredible work that they do to promote and support photographers and photography worldwide. What this reality does is huge for all of us that love Photography.

I have been a contributing member to the Independent Photographer for a few years and i have found it to be a fantastic platform for photographers to exhibit their art. The jury selected for judging competitions are established in the world of photography and have an eye for quality and content.

Hugely inspiring platform for anyone in love with photography and a chance to get feedback from industry professionals.

The Independent Photographer is a gem. As a photographer, what I find unique to TIP is their ability to impart timeless wisdom from the photography greats while humbly allowing new photographers to share their processes. Personally, they have been immensely supportive of my work and have helped me find confidence in my voice as a photographer.

A brilliant set of photo-awards and community to engage with, awesomely legitimate judges and process which is smooth and easy. Also brilliant on going inspiration through social feeds and output.

Sending photographs to an association it is not always a great experience, What I do appreciate much with The Independent Photographer is their professionality, the clear statements, and most of all they give you a feedback about your submission.

An amazing resource for photographers and legit competitions judged by some of the most incredible photographers around the world.

I participated in their 2023 people photography contest and the experience has been seamless. All the communicated with the TIP team has been very pleasant and efficient. I'd highly recommend following their publication and contests! Totally legit and excellently curated.

It has been a wonderful experience to participate in your monthly competition. Also, I would like to extend my gratitude to the TIP team for their prompt communication and assistance.
I was 3rd place winner during previous Street Photography competition. PayPal had deducted $21.20 from the prize money, I was given an option by the TIP team to either accept the deducted amount or participate in the ongoing Open Call competition. I decided to participate and enter 3 photos, TIP team was gracious enough to let go of $8. Happy to announce that one of the photos have been chosen as an Editor's pick.

The Independent Photographer is one of the most prestigious in the world. It is a once-in-a-lifetime achievement to win this competition, as judged by Steve McCurry. I received my reward quicker, and I am very thankful to the team behind Independent Photographer.

Communication was great with the TIP team, they have great tools that work very well (like the Box for the uploads). I believe that their site has excellent content and I love what they do for the photography domain in general.

Each month there is a new interesting prompt for competition; the images they choose to feature are interesting and beautiful; the magazine is inspiring. And I recently was honored to win an award from them!

They don't send too many emails if you sign up and their team is friendly.

I unexpectedly won an award, I came second winning $600. Made my day!

The Independent Photographer it is a great global platform for photographers who wants to share their art and test their skills worldwide. Photos as choosen by professionals and this push everyone to do better and better on every contest. It is also a source of inspiration.

The Independent Photographer has great and diverse competitions with judges and input from professionals.
In my opinion TIP is one of the rare photography competitions that really create a worth for the community of photography.
