Moved our rental to Indigo to manage
Moved our rental to Indigo due to significant issues with our previous management agents. Tom Trew worked tirelessly to resolve all the issues for us and when above and beyond what we had ever experienced before and sorted everything out. We are now able to relax and not worry about our rental knowing Tom and the team have it all under control. Superb service !

The whole Stopsley stuff were amazing thought my sale and onwards purchase. Special shoutout to Kitty in sales progression for all her hard work.
Five star service from Indigo residential
My house sold very quickly although the process took a little longer due to my seller. Indigo were informative, friendly, helpful and patient (at times I had a few questions that I wasn’t sure about). I cannot fault them in any way from the start to the finish of my house sale.
Thanks to Michelle and Scot who played a huge part in getting me through the sales process.
Lack of transparency and misleading
Dealt with Lottie and Gareth and was constantly given different stories about the same property — first a family member buying, then someone else, then the neighbours, then suddenly it was sold. Very misleading and lacking transparency. Would not recommend.

We’ve had a great experience renting through Indigo Real Estate. A special thanks to Jayden from the Luton branch, who was very professional, friendly, and always ready to help. He made the whole process smooth and stress-free, and helped us find the perfect house to call home. We’re really happy with the service and highly recommend Indigo Real Estate — especially Jayden — to anyone looking to rent in the area!
An awful experience
An awful experience. We were informed a 1% commission rate plus VAT applied. However, upon receipt of the invoice it transpired a fixed sum had been entered in the contract at 1% on the asking price, not the final sale price of the property which in our case was less. We were advised there was a dedicated person available to keep us updated on progress. This was certainly not the case. We received extremely minimal communication throughout the entire 16 weeks it took for our chain-free sale to complete. The small amount of communication we did receive was often not accurate and frankly, not very professional. I certainly would not recommend Indigo Residential.
The worst estate agents to have ever…
The worst estate agents to have ever encountered. Do not be tempted to buy a property through these agents at any costs.
I feel sorry for the people who tried to sell a property through them too.
A house sale process is stressful but these guys will do whatever they can as long as they're benefitting.
Last year, my offer to buy a house through them had been accepted. It was a chain. Being the person in the best situation financially, they kept feeding me rubbish to try and pay more for a house so a lady going through a divorce would be able to get her life back who was further down the chain.
They were so unprofessional trying to play on people's emotions.
Luckily for me, my buyer pulled out and I asked them to ask the sellers of the house I was looking to purchase if they'd give me a grace period to find another buyer. To which the chap said "if you put your house up for sale with us, I'll guarantee you'll get that grace period". I don't need to work with idiots who have to blackmail people to get business so I refused.
They came back and said the sellers were happy to give me a grace period. I knew this was a blatant lie so I visited the sellers and spoke with the lady who confirmed they hadn't said that and hadn't been kept up to date with everything.
Long story short, I found another buyer offering me more for my house, but then they tried to get me to offer more for the house I was buying. Having told me the sellers didn't want to sell it now, I said fine.
Within a day, they came back and said they were happy to sell to me if I was still interested.
What they were trying to do was play another buyer off against me and eventually came back to me to say someone else had offered more so they won't be selling to me anymore.
Complete rubbish people and company and my feelings were strong enough to write this review after settling down in my new home.
On a good note, I purchased a bigger, newer house for the same price in a better location.
Indigo sales rude
House next to mine sold under indigo months ago. Contracts not completed front door was wide opened. Door looks like it’s broken spoke to indigo Luton & he was not helpful telling me that it’s not their responsibility the house is Sold. Surely if still not completed it is the estate agents responsibility to make sure net curtains & locks are secure. Do I call the police or council? As for my own safety & the neighbours. All I got from the estate agents was call the police do what you want. Basically don’t give a crap not our problem. Next time if front door is opened I will not close it il let them squat
House hunting in Bedfordshire
As we are now in 2025,
moving home again comes to mind.
But buyers and sellers should take care when choosing a estate agent, as some may cost you £1000s and waste your time so it's important to choose wisely and definitely when getting solicitors to take out their insurance against things going wrong.
My advice would be to avoid
Indigo Residential estate agents
Like the plague,
As recently they have a house on the market in Ampthill in Elder way at £40,000 above RICS valuation
Maybe they should remove it.
It's not good for sellers or buyers.
Good luck house hunting.
Very rude staff and they not even…
Very rude staff and they not even letting customers back and when we call they speak very rudely I would recommend not to go with this particular agent to buy house .

Zero rated do not sign anything with these people, no matter what they say, they lie, they cheat. Nothing but a bunch of gangsters!
Worst viewing expereince- avoid at all costs
Worst experience in just viewing a property I have ever experienced.
My parents who are retired and who are getting on in age booked to see a specific property and were happily told that there were also more properties available in the market that fitted the needs of my disabled father. As such booked them in to view at least 5 properties on the day.
As I had been busy at work that week I had left the viewings set up to my parents but would be available to follow them to the actual viewings on the day.
The day of the viewings arrived and the first red flag was my father getting a call an hour before whilst on our way to the location by the most condescending and arrogant person on the phone who was attempting to belittle my Dad whilst making sure he wasn’t “wasting their time” and would be there on time. As my dad Is hard of hearing he placed the call on loudspeaker and I could hear it all. Followed by another condescending person who was making the exact same phone call 5 mins later. To which I took over the call and lambasted them on the line to say how disrespectful they are being and that someone had already called and I would be speaking to their management.
Second red flag was getting to the area of the property My dad had booked into see and not being able to find the house. No postcode was sent via email or text. We were going off the location of the house found on onthemarket.com. To which we called to find out, where another condescending person on the phone arrogantly told my dad ‘Well you should have received it by email” then casually switching to text when I refuted it hadn’t been sent after taking over the call?!
Finally they send the post code and the property is 10 mins away from the one my dad wanted to see. Call that another red flag.
We then proceeded to the new location to find 2 newly built small bungalows that did not fit the requirements asked for my dad. Bedrooms and bathrooms only on the first floor and rooms far too small to be converted to a bedroom for him. To which when asked about the other property being as this one was inadequate we were then told, the property my dad was interested in was already off the market and shouldn’t have been advertised as still on.
I then proceeded to cancel any other viewing of the day.
Moral of the story. Whoever booked my Dad in for those viewings did so knowing this was an old man that they could potentially take advantage of and sell anything theyd like to. Sheer utter arrogance and appalling practise.
Their only saving grace was the humbleness of the actual agent who came to see us for the viewing who had 15 years experience, apologised profusely for our time being wasted and the inadequacies of her colleagues.
