Eye-opening webinar, engaging, future-oriented, socially responsible

I attended a free webinar today presented by Kane Minkus of Industry Rockstar, exploring their AI Assisted Consultant Certification program. Around 450 people attended.

The educational content was genuinely impressive. The market evidence was credible, sourced from Forrester, BCG, McKinsey and others. The consulting framework was well-structured and practical. The program infrastructure — assessment tools, workflow frameworks, community platform — appeared substantive. I came away having learned a great deal.

My concerns are entirely about the sales approach and a specific misleading claim, undermining trust.

At the close of the webinar, three classic high-pressure sales techniques were deployed simultaneously: a $31,000 "real value" anchor with no credible basis, a "first 100 only" scarcity claim, and a threat that the price would double after today. This is disappointing because the content was good enough to sell honestly without any of this.

More seriously: the program was marketed with the phrase "success guaranteed." When I asked in writing what this meant and requested the refund terms, I received two replies — both arriving within minutes and both reading as AI-generated boilerplate. Across neither reply was a single substantive point I raised actually addressed. What was clarified is that outcomes "ultimately depend on each individual's effort, application, and circumstances." That is a standard disclaimer, not a guarantee of success. The use of "success guaranteed" as a marketing claim is therefore misleading.

I also asked whether payments could be spread over 12 months. This was refused. The logical contradiction — refusing flexible payments while claiming a success guarantee — was raised twice and ignored twice. Hence the undermining of trust.

I also note that existing reviews on this platform appear overwhelmingly to reflect the course experience rather than client outcomes. For someone who cannot afford a failed investment, that distinction matters enormously. There is a huge difference between reviewing the learning experience and reviewing the investment outcome.

The program may well be worthwhile. But prospective students deserve transparency about what "success guaranteed" actually means before they invest $3,000/$6,000 — and would benefit from hearing more from graduates about real-world outcomes, not just course satisfaction.

Update following Industry Rockstar's public reply below:

I thank Industry Rockstar for their detailed response, which is more substantive than the private replies I received.

However, their response confirms rather than refutes my central point. They have now clarified that the guarantee is conditional — requiring full program completion and demonstrated implementation before any ROI claim can be made. That is a reasonable policy. But it is not what "success guaranteed" means in plain English. A conditional guarantee with significant completion requirements is not a guarantee of success; it is a guarantee of a refund process, subject to conditions.

It is also worth noting that prospective students attending a fast-paced live webinar are not in a position to cross-reference marketing claims against terms and conditions in real time. If the guarantee is conditional, that conditionality belongs in the room, not in the small print. Prospective students deserve to see that clarification in the marketing material itself.

The continued vacillation on this point does nothing to restore trust — the ultimate index of any major investment decision.

Current AI knowledge is coupled with Mindset and paradigm changes, which are emphasized

I paid and registered for the AI Assisted Entrepreneur Sprint 8.0 in September 2025. There are 8 Foundation sessions and 24 Core Training sessions. The Foundation and Core Training sessions are held on Monday and Wednesday of the each week while the Sprint is offered and each session is an hour and a half long. Sprint 8.0 ended in February 2026. The Foundations provide a basic understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its use cases (i.e. text, audio, images, video). Core Training provided discussion, direction and examples of various AI tools for text, audio, images and video and use cases. The last month of the Core Training focused on AI workflow automation and AI agents. Needless to say that at the end of the Sprint, I had received comprehensive AI training during the past 6 months and gained a clear understanding of AI (i.e. who?, what?, when?, where?, why? & how?). Alessia & Kane Minkus and team do an exemplary job of explaining concepts and myths around AI. They are world class overachievers. I highly recommend Industry Rockstar's AI Assisted Entrepreneur Sprint program. BTW - the one-time price is worth it. You get lifetime access to the AI Assisted Entrepreneur Sprint program. My experiences with Industry Rockstar have been exceptional in all aspects. Their topics are relative and information is alwaly current. They alwasys gain an understanding of the various levels of experience/expertise in their training sessions and ensure the material presented is of current, relative, of value and understood by all attendees, regardless of experience. I consider myself a lifelong learner and have participated in many professional training programs over the years. Without hesitation, I can say that the programs from Industry Rockstar are among the best I’ve experienced.
