Ultimate Value
When it comes to value there is not a better name in MCAT test prep than IFD. John and Maggie's program is S tier for being accessible, to the point, and empowering students to get to the heart of what moves the needle the most on the MCAT. Their methodology works and they do it as good, and at times better, than the big names out there.
Damon was really helpful
Damon really helped make me realize if IFD was for me or not. He was not trying to be a salesman; he was looking out for the best for me. After explaining what they do and how IFD works, he even suggested that I look into other prep courses to make sure I was choosing the best one for me. He was super nice and made me comfortable, and we had a little time to talk about personal things and got to learn some cool things about his past and his background.
Straight forward and practical
IFD gives straight forward and practical advice for the MCAT. I love their passage breakdowns and strategy videos on YouTube. I recently bought their high yield bundle and I am able to study with confidence knowing that I am not wasting time on unnecessary content. Their guide has great explanations for the most important MCAT content!
Great Guidance!!!
I came into the meeting wanting to learn more about IFD's paid material. I spoke with Damon and explained where I am in my MCAT journey right now and he helped me break down my next study strategy and I have a clearer path as to how I am going to approach my target MCAT score. The MCAT is a scary test, especially if you don't have any guidance or mentors, but I felt reassured after only 15 minutes of talking! Make sure to come prepared with your goals and study strategies to get the most out of the meeting.
Thank you!!!
My one-on-one meeting was super…
My one-on-one meeting was super helpful. I am retaking the MCAT and was unsure about next steps and I feel like I finally got some clarity in this meeting. And it was free!

Damon was great I truly got so much out of our conversation. Thank you again!
CARS Unlimited + Overall Great Experience
I used the CARS Unlimited tool towards the start of my prep, and it helped a lot in terms of how to read passages and understand the author's argument. CARS was a constant struggle for me, and using the tool was a great asset in helping me improve! Additionally, Damon, John, and Maggie and so kind and genuine! I felt that all the advice and resources that they provided was honest, transparent, encouraging, and in my best interest.
Amazing
Meeting with Damon was amazing. I felt validated in every concern I had, every question I had was answered, and I left with a sense that I had someone to rely on. I was able to also get an idea of what steps I should proceed with and feel comfortable with getting started on my MCAT journey. I would highly recommend IFD.
10/10 Experience :)
With one month left before my exam, I was feeling overwhelmed by all that I needed to study and felt really lost in direction. But even in a short time, Damon was really attentive to my concerns, providing great tips + strategies and helping me narrow my focus for my last month of review! It is clear that he’s very experienced in what he does and those that he helps! Would highly recommend to anyone studying!
Ifd your MCAT study buddy
Ifd was extremely transparent and friendly. Additionally, they were willing to sit through and answer any concerns I had, which tbh is impressive.
Damon, the person I met from IFD was awesome, he went overtime with our consultation making sure that I had zero concerns about their program.
Damon is super helpful !
Damon was AMAZINGLY clear and helpful. He helped me find the best strategy for my specific situation and that is worth its weight in gold ! Thank you so very much !
Ease of use…
21 Point Score Increase Thanks to IFD - Believe the Hype!!
For anyone wondering if they should purchase a review course from IFD, I *highly* recommend! I always struggled with reviewing exams bc the AAMC explanations are lacking to say the least. John and Maggie’s full length review course was worth every penny! Especially for CARS! They do an amazing job of breaking down the passage/question in a way that makes it relatable and more understandable to start improving on full lengths - and for like a TENTH of the cost of a big box MCAT course😅 I saw huge improvement in my practice exams and I retook my mcat last week, so I obviously don’t have the score back yet, but it was still worth it to go into the exam feeling more confident knowing I had some strategies under my belt!
Edit: I got my score back the other day and it’s FINALLY competitive enough to apply! I went up 8 points since last year and 21 points since 2 years ago. Not a doubt in my mind it was bc of this program! 10/10 recommend!
2nd edit: Just received my first interview invite! Hopefully a few more to come thanks to IFD!
Damon Cox
I had a zoom meeting with Damon who helped me think through my plan for studying for the MCAT. He helped me so much during our zoom call and left me his email to ask more questions. Very helpful, I would greatly recommend!
He was awesome
He was awesome, explained well, and didn’t try crazy hard to upsell, but let the product speak for himself. I think I’ll be buying come time
