I wore these on their maiden voyage to one of my club nights to test them out, usually wear 6inch shorts for road running. They were comfortable and fit true to size. Put my phone in the side pocket and stayed there, no issue with movement. Put my car key in the handy back pocket and didn’t even notice it was there. Safe to say these are a good quality pair of shorts.
