Very useful piece of kit. I have found it difficult to get the front hook out of the trail shoe slot so resorted to attach it to the laces instead

Great trail running gaiters. On my second set. Stops mud and grit getting in shoe. Especially useful on very long distances

Using a size Large for my 11.5 size shoe, the rubber strap hooks are positioned too far to the rear of the gaiter. This means the rubber strap must be pulled forward along the bottom of the shoe in order to be placed in front of the heel. It frequently slips off the bottom of the heel when running on trails, and requires me to reposition it. The design should have placed the hook points further forward so that the straps go directly in front of the heel portion of the shoe, not behind it. I would return it if I could.

I've been wearing INoV8 trail gaiters for several decades, as a pro desert guide and most anytime I head out on the trails. Well made, best seal around the ankle and lower shoe, breathable, and fairly tough. There a little tough to get off, and the rubber bands wear out, (I buy a bag of good ones and keep in my pack). They keep pretty much everything out, especially stickers, thorns, (they can stick to the outside), and pebbles and sand. Highly recommend.

I have owned a pair of INOV8 gaiters for many years and I rate them very highly. It had reached the time when I needed to replace them and hoped the new gaiters would be every bit as good as my last. The all terrain gaiters I received were definitely not a good purchase. Firstly, the sizing was impossible to figure out of the internet as S,M, and L don’t equate to anything tangible (ie; shoe sizes) so the pair I purchased (M) were too small (I am a UK 8.5/EU 42). Secondly the rubber bands that are meant to go under the boots don’t last a day on rocky or gravel surfaces so are pretty much useless. I have always worn my old INOV8 gaiters without under straps and they have been fantastic. I tried wearing the new gaiters without under straps up the stairs in my house and they had ridden above my boots by the top of my internal stairs rendering them useless. This was a poor purchase for me. Please inform me if you ever intend to make the old gaiters again otherwise I will be forced to shop elsewhere. Kind regards and sorry for the negative review, Pete

We normally get really good feedback about these from our customers, product testers and athletes so we can only apologise again that you have had a bad experience. In regards to sizing, the sizes correlate with our Sock sizes, so we do apologise if this was not clear.
The rubber O-Rings should sit between your lugs so that they are not in direct contact with the ground. We also do sell replacement rings in case you do experience any problems.

Great product. Much sturdier than the previous Altra pair I had for my old Lone Peaks and a much more snug fit around the shoe which has been great for running in the bog-snorkelling conditions we are having well into March this year! Integrates perfectly with the design of Trailtalon 235s - the little hooks fit well into the shoes and the whole thing works together as it should.
A good gaiter, but I do find the Innov8 attachment system a little fiddly.
Beautifully crafted, soft not itchy or plastic-y, snug to the shoe and ankle. Love them!
Used on Lakeland 50 and did not notice I was wearing them. Time will tell for durability but so far so good
