I have been running on mud talon v1 for a year or so now and they are my go to trail shoe and sometime orienteering shoe. I will let you know when I start using these new v2's. It looks like they will be more durable. I wear Suze 48 so I bought this new pair since you import so few to the States.

These MudTalon Speed V2 fits me perfectly. They are true size but I needed the Wide version, even if I usually don't have issues finding shoes my size. They have a very good grip, and are very light. Running on tough terrains feels very secure and they never slip (on gravel, smooth rocks, loose dirt...), it's pretty impressive. These shoes have a good cushion on impact and really make you want to keep running, it's great. I'm very happy I got this pair, and they reminds me of some original X-Talon but even better.

These shoes remind me of the old-style Inov8's, which I absolutely loved. I've owned TrailRocs, TrailTalons and lots of others. The MudTalon Speed has a good fit, amazing grip and a durable exterior. The only bad thing I can say is that I desperately wish Inov8 wouldn't skip a half size between 13 and 14. The 13's are a bit small for North American sizing, and the 14 a big jump. Start making shoes in a 13.5 and I will never buy shoes from anyone else.

Lightweight, resilient materials, quick drying post run, fantastic in the mud and on wet grass and gravel, great quality, historically I have purchased size 10 in other shoes for the width but I went 9.5 in a wide in these and they are perfect. Try them on if you can. I love them.

Loved them straight out the box. I had a very wet and muddy 15km race and these were the business. Great grip through any terrain. Great fit for the wide fit shoes. Drain quickly and mid sole will feels well padded as I am not the lightest.

I bought these shoes as a replacement for the X-Talon. For many years, I ran in the X-Talon 210, 212, and 235, as well as the MudClaw. My initial impression of the Mudtalon is that it combines the best of both shoes: the lightweight feel of the X-Talon and the traction of the MudClaw, even on challenging terrain. I can't comment on durability yet, but my first impression is that they are just as good as the X-Talon. The previous model accompanied me for several thousand training kilometers and an entire race season. After the first race and a few training kilometers, the Mudtalon feels a bit more flexible and not as direct and responsive as the X-Talon. Perhaps this impression will change over time.
