These are the most comfortable walking shoes I have ever owned. I have wide feet and was struggling to find a comfortable pair of walking shoes that were also light and waterproof. These shoes have been terrific! The grip on the sole is excellent too. I have been so happy with them that I have now bought the boot version too for rougher terrain, and they are equally as good. They do size small though; I am a UK6 in most footwear and found a UK7 was the right size in the Roclite.

Excellent fit, I was advised to up a half size in the shop and the lady was spot on! Super comfy and they look absolutely fab 👌

Comfortable and wide with plenty of toe room. Nice really stiff sole which is perfect for my arthritic Hallux Rigidus toes. Soft and padded foot bed. Got them in the sale, would be hesitant at full price. Haven't tried them for long hikes yet, just wearing for everyday winter shoes.

I love these shoes. Comfortable and well made, and keep my feet dry as promised. For other Inov8 shoes I use for running I have always been 7.5 so I took the advice to go up half a size for these and the 8 is indeed perfect for me.
Very impressed with the Roclite shoes and boots,so much so I now own three pairs! The first truly wide fit/wide toebox footwear,so often wide shoes are wide midfoot,but still taper at the toes. I have plantar fasciitis and these have been lifesavers. Had to go up half size in the shoe (general use), and a full size in the walking boots to allow for foot swelling on long hike. The mens and womens fit exactly the same, differing only in size range,so if you dont like the colours (white not practical in a ladies walking boot), they are interchangeable and the mens colours seem to be better. Fantastic. Please don't change them.

The shoe was a bit more shoe than I wanted, thicker sole and bulkier overall than my ancient Roclites that were minimalist shoes. I didn't get the ground feel that I like for trail use. I appreciated the wider toe box, though.

I have been waiting for this black GTX for a few years. I had a similar black one from years ago. It was so good that I stop wearing any other brand, and only purchase excercise shoes from Inov-8. This one seems to be as good as the previous one. Highly recommend!

I tend to go up half a size normally with shoes to get width at front for my foot but I had to go up a full size to get the extra width but now I have an issue with the heel slipping slightly so need to try and see if I can tie the laces tighter or buy some kind of heel grip Having said all that I do like the shoes as they are lightweight and waterproof. Only had one walk so far with them and not giving up on them.

Thank you for taking the time to rite a review. We're sorry to hear you have experienced issues with your new Roclite GTX shoes. One suggestion which could help is to try a different lacing technique such as the 'Runners Knott' or heel lock lace. You can find videos online showing how it works.

Great walking shoe. Usually size 5 but had to get 6.5 to allow for my insoles. Wide toe box. I thought they were a bit expensive but only shoe I can find that is comfortable. Would recommend.

I love my roclite shoes, I have them in both colours and find them comfortable to wear for long treks and short walks. My only gripe is the lack of more colours. The black ones, for a women are quite stark and seeing the men’s come in a better range of colours is quite sad. I will be buying more though cos you cannot surpass the comfort I think.

I would like to mention our Men's and Women's shoes fit exactly the same so if you are above a size 6 (and you don't mind it saying "Mens" on the inside tongue) you can order our Men's colours and they should fit great.

These look really nice and feel like a high-quality, extremely sturdy shoe. The toe box and overall fit is wide and stable. I gave 4 stars because they are too heavy. One shoe weighs more than my other pair so my idea of using them for outdoor sports will not work. I even feel that walking or hiking in them after some time would be laborious. Runs SMALL, purchased half size over my regular size and are still too snug. Unfortunately will be returning, sorry.
