Excellent and comfortable as a work boot daily wear on the moors this summer

Very comfortable and tough but sadly not completely waterproof. My feet were wet walking through wet glass.

This is my first purchase from Inov8, as I prepare for the UK's 3 highest peak challenge in 24hrs. I am impressed with the boot, as they are super comfy, light weight - everything I could want in a boot (always said an ideal boot would be light and like a shoe boot with good suspension to project knees etc. I habe worn around my town walks 9n hard ground as well as in fields and they are supportive and very comfy with great suspension. Very plesed and would highly recommend. Also see the Peak Mountain Rescue also use them so thats a good vote of confidence too!

Well worth the money. Super boot providing great support, stability, comfort and feel. Worn now on several walks / hikes in different conditions and different terrains. Chris at the Bakewell store was really patient and helpful in getting the right boot in the right size. 100% recommend!

Great boots, completed multi-day hikes over 2 weeks and 120km straight out of the box; impressed with both the comfort and fit

These hikers are fantastic. I've backpacked in the Sierras for 30 years for the chill enjoyment of days above the treeline and off trail with my Dad- super special to have this connection. Pop and I are not gnarly chargers or peak-baggers, we just love to mosey for days in the pine and granite. We've been through lots of light hikers and heavy boots. I switched from Innov8 light hikers to these Roclites after having 2 children and carrying lots of extra non-pack weight (needed ankle support). I barely broke them in before a multi-day hike, and they were fantastically/surprisingly comfortable- not a sore spot or blister. The soles have truly sticky rubber, the sole was supportive and also springy, the upper was supportive but not at all stiff. After the babies, my feet are now around US Women's size 12, so I ordered US Mens size 11 in the Roclites, which was about right. My second toe could have used a bit more space, but it didn't make sense to get a whole size larger to accommodate. I only mention this to corroborate other suggestions that your size selection should be rounded up. Wonderful shoes, wonderful design and materials! Awesome R&D efforts, team!

Very comfortable for people like me with wide feet and Tailor bunions added thereto. The first hike was comfortable, no blisters or any issues.

Only used once for a Peak District mooch. First impressions very good. Fit excellent. Grip excellent. Lightweight and durable. The real test is coming up with autumn/winter mooching in the Peaks and Lakes.

Sturdy but lightweight boots that come in a wide fitting. I have only worn them around the house so far but will test them in the Lake District next week. Thanks also for the Inov8 customer service team who are second to none!

Points: Pro: - ordered the Roclite Pro Mid Gtx wide, boot fits great (wait).. Cons: - manufacturer defect.. tongue slips alot (left foot).. causes pressure on inner ankle bone due to tongue stitch on lower inner corner. - leaves bruises.. would rtn product but don't have time.. - would be impressed if boot fit perfect out of box like certain other brands.. IMO..

Own several pairs of Inov8 roclites, was excited when I saw the wide tie box, first few wears it’s a very stiff boot compared to other Rocs, not too comfortable around the ankles, not as sleek as other roclites more like a snowboot size, although wide my toes hit the top of the boot for some reason unlike other boots, maybe they’ll break in Update: Didn’t mean this to necessarily be a bad review, love inov8, these boots just are not for me, I play soccer in the G400 even tho they’re a .5 size too small for me, work and play in all the roclites, these boots are too stiff for me to run around or hike personally, but you might love them

I love the ROCLITE PRO MID GTX Boots . They are lite ,Durable and Robust. I wear these boots for Trekking and Urban endeavours.

These cost a lot of money & build quality is not up there with other brands. My picture shows poor padding as well stitching to create a hard knuckle like lump, at the very point the inside contacts the ankle at the lateral malleolus and area above. This is a point of high flexion and just rubs & rubs. How this passed field testing is beyond me. Avoid. Lesson learned to never buy direct from the internet. Shame as previous inov8s I’ve bought had performed well.

Haven't had a chance to use them in anger, but feel well made and as if it should be OK. My main gripe is that inov-8 sizing is so random. I take a UK size 10 in dress shoes, size 11 in most brands of running shoes, 11.5 in inov-8 running shoes, but need a 12 in these boots - which is crazy as that's the largest size available! No idea what people with large feet would do. Would be less of an issue if the returns were free....

As a hiking boot it is excellent in its own right. If I compare it to its predecessor, the roclite 400, I'm a little disappointed. The 400 was less bulky and didn't feel like I was wearing a boot. But, this one does instil confidence with regard to grip on various rocky terrains and that is something I personally need.

Great boots comfortable. The tongue could be a wider the only complaint I have

Wet early days as this week has been the first time I’ve been able to use them. Been in the Lakes and so far so good. Its been strange using a pair of non-leather boots, but the fit is great and they are very comfortable with really great grip.
