Inspectionyard 

WARNING this company seems to use Gumtree ads to pretend to be a buyer as long as you use Inpectionyard for a vehicle report, however, this report (if you get one) only has information you can find yourself, or pay a quarter of the cost for a proper report from a reputable company. Three times they have been in-touch with me under different company names (latest BRITISHMOTORS.UK) and under various personal names. This seems to be every time I re-new my ad, on Gumtree. So, if someone wants to buy your vehicle and it seems to good to be true ie. they will pay asking price no haggling, it's probably these scammers.

SCAM. They contacted me via Gumtree when selling my car. Time wasting scammers

Scam...do not use. Had someone saying his wife was interested in my car. Paid £32 for this basic check, then he disappears. It's clearly his own website and hes scamming people with real jobs.

I was contacted by them just now. They wanted to come and see the car but wanted me to provide with a WP Check. I had never heard of it so got a bit suspicious & started reading about it. Then found all these reviews confirming they're a scam. Just Avoiding them now 07446450287

Had a txt from these people saying Wife saw my car for sale and very interested !! He wanted to view the car asap but first asked if we could get it checked by Wheelportalreport
Had a feeling something wasn’t right
They said they didn’t trust any other site ! Luckily we checked it out before paying ! SCAM!!!!!!! Be careful !!! They’re everywhere !!!!

I too got a call for my classic Mercedes. Said his wife had seen the car and wanted to view. He was keen to buy but ask first for an IY report. I told him this is the buyer’s responsibility. I said about car check but he insisted on inspection yard report.
Only to read review it was a scam.

Scam site. Cold calls for sale adverts, pretends they're going to buy then asks you to do an "IY" report. So the owner is scamming people into doing reports on their own car.

Yes I had a text from "Paul" same as everyone else.
Alarm bells started to ring when asked me to "provide me with the IY check", looks a scam to sell expensive vehicle reports, or harvest personal data.
AVOID!

I have my car listed on Gumtree when I got a text message from someone showing interest. “Paul” asked me to use the inspection yard site to buy a report. I did a quick google search and found this page. Thank you to everyone that took the time to leave a review!

just had contact from Brandon via an advert on gumtree for a car I'm selling wanting an iy report costing £32.99,upon doing some checks I found out this is a scam anyway I sent a message to Brandon saying you do the report and upon possible purchase I will give you the cash for said report, anyway in the text back I received stern words and him being very defensive so people Don't DO IT! its a scam.contact no is 07446450287.

This is an absolute scam website. I had a call about my volvo from an agent of this rubbish site. He asked me a few questions about my car and then demanded £32.99 for a so-called “basic report”. To test whether he was genuine, I refused to pay — and he immediately started abusing me and even threatened to hack my bank account. Do not trust this website. It’s a complete scam

Yes like the rest of the reviews here INSPECTION YARD is a scam. A guy enquires about your car. He wants you to pay for an inspection report with IY. So of course it is a scam. If someone is interested in buying a car they would arrange their own HPI type check, not rely on the seller.

No way "Paul" is ever going to turn up and pay me £33 quid when he gets here.
