Like others have said con site. Was contacted by someone interested in purchasing my wife’s car and he only wanted a check from inspect ride as he trusted no other check sites according to him. Purchased a basic check didn’t receive anything in the time frame had an email from the company 3hrs after ordering saying it would be 2-3hrs but still had nothing until 11hrs later and it was nothing like the site stated loads of the claimed report missing and could not contact the site at all live chat didn’t work and they didn’t respond to emails and low and behold the guy interested in the car had a death in the family and is no longer interested. If anyone is talking to someone on WhatsApp with a corgi dog as the profile picture be aware he is a con man for this site.

Scam. I was nearly lured in to the genuine messages from Kevin J but when he insisted on a report from inspectride or autoenginecheck I became suspicious. Admittedly auto trader told me not to communicate outside of their platform and the first thing they asked was to use WhatsApp - so my bad

Total and utter scam, have a campervan for sale and some random moron contacts me to use this company for a report even though we have a full HPI check available, of which he dosent recognise what that is.
I'm sorry but you have to be a complete moron to fall for this sort of thing.
Thus site should be banned

This a scam, very dodgy company. They contact you using a random name to say they want to buy your car. But then they will ask for an inspection report and they will insist that you get it from Inspectride before they commit to buy. As soon as you buy the plan (in my case it was £39 “basic plan”) the buyer disappears, deletes all communications. Don’t fall for it like I did. Scam Scam Scam!!⛔️

Scam scam scam scam , someone will be in touch about your vehicle for sale and make out that they are interested, it’s a scam they will ask that you pay for a report that you don’t need

An immediate response from "Kevin J" to my Offer For Sale of Quadbike on AutoTrader resulted in a request for me as Vendor to "provide an up to date vehicle check from inspectride.co.uk so I can review it and finalise the deal when I come to see it". Prices listed were £40, £50 or £70 for an irrelvant report. The quad has never been on the public highway, has no active warranty, no installed options, no export option and holds full legitimate documentation. This appears to be an Auto Response Bot. I wonder if AutoTrader is pleased about this ..... or ?

This is definitely a scam, I have experienced the same as other reviewers, buyer only wants a report from this site even though I provided one. The WhatsApp used is a bot or AI and is quite erratic. Please do not get a report from this site.

100% a scam. Buyers only willing to use this website even though I have a full HPI report. Watch out

Pretty sure this is a scam.
Even if the service is genuine, it appears to use a bot to drive business towards its website. Selling a bike, I was emailed by someone asking to start a conversation on WhatsApp. That conversation seemed normal - sensible questions and interest.
The ‘buyer’ then asked me to use inspectride.co.uk to generate a report before they would travel to see the bike. I said that websites like this have a bad reputation and that he should get the check done if it’s important to him.
After a couple more messages from him justifying his need for a report and my resistance, he gave up and I never heard from him again.
Dodgy. Avoid.
