I wish I had looked on the reviews first

I wish I had looked on the reviews first.£50 was quite reasonable for an examination. They quoted me between £100 and £200 max for the extraction. After the examination I was informed that it was cost £300 extra for the extraction. They could not explain the increase in cost. I feel like they get you in with the £50 examination and then after that they overcharge. I did not agree to go any further and I walked away asking them to send me the x-rays which they never did. I called back and asked for a refund and just got the run around and never got back to me.

Scam scam scam DO NOT USE INSTANT…

Scam scam scam DO NOT USE INSTANT DENTAL…..
Having spent the whole night in pain and recently moving to a new area I hadn’t registered with the local dentist
So was resorted to using a emergency appointment company…
Called up and told my issue the lady advised that they are private and not nhs so I would have to pay. I agreed not a problem. She found me availability in the Chatham branch and advised she would need to take £50 for the check up and xray. I would have to pay more locally when I find out what the problem was. She stated fees were on website I agreed. She took payment and said I would receive confirmation shortly this was 9am I called. 11am I still had no confirmation. I called up again and spoke to another lady and said I haven’t had confirmation she said she would get the relevant team to call me back and confirm and they may POSSIBLY send confirmation…. It’s now the time of the appointment no call and still no confirmation via email….
Called back again and just on hold no one is picking up…..

Quick £50 made there I should of realised when she said I may possibly get a confirmation invoice

STaY Clear and well away from these people

Doesn't Work

Tried uploading photos and videos using my phone. Their site wouldn't work properly, so repeated the process on laptop. They uploaded, but not without bugs and issues. Got as far as the point of putting in card details then their site prevented actually purchasing the service. I messaged them - still no reply over a day later. Has a feeling of someone's side-hustle juggled alongside multiple others and getting no attention.

Mostly pointless, slightly scammy

Consultation was decently useful in that they identified the issue okay.

They wanted me to pay £11 for the privilege of an ibuprofen prescription (available for £0.39 in any supermarket without needing a prescription) and then ghosted me when I said there would be no point and asked if there's anything else I could be prescribed to help with the sensitivity such as duraphat while waiting for an in-person appointment locally. I already had ibuprofen in the house and even mentioned in my consultation notes that I was taking ibuprofen so I don't know why they thought this was useful except to extract more money in admin fees from me I guess.

They also promote their own in house products on your consultation and it's difficult to gauge if it's by dentist recommendation that you actually need it, or just for them to sell stuff.

Not really a bad experience as much as completely pointless - you're better off trying to get something prescribed by an online pharmacist if you have dental pain and find you're having to wait a while for an appointment. E.g. duraphat can be prescribed by an online pharmacy for £12.

There is very little sense in paying these guys money just to confirm you are indeed in pain and even more money for a massively inflated prescription.

EDIT: I did eventually get an appropriate prescription but I had to wait another 3 days.

Emergency dentist

They identified my wiisdom tooth as the problem.......£200 for a filling and £600 for a removal.
It ended up being a molar tooth being the problem....my advice is to get confirmation from your dentist (shame they don't prescribe drugs to last until then)

Brilliant service!

Quick and seamless, I had an extremely painful tooth infection and my dentist could not see me. Contacted this company and within 5 minutes I had a prescription ready for me. Can’t fault it. Brilliant would 100% use this service again if needed.

SCAM

SCAM. Do not use. I signed up to receive retainers post the smile direct collapse. They promised I could have an in person scan, we’re really proactive in messaging back and provided an online consultation (which recommended I got all kinds of their rubish) As soon as I paid for the retainers I heard nothing for 2 weeks. After several follow ups they came back saying in person scans were not available. I have requested a refund and suggest people go for a more reputable option for ongoing dental support.
