Giovanni was extremely helpful!! He helped us navigate the city of Naples as well as the cities near there! He became our point of contact throughout our trip here! Thank you Giovanni!

All the staff were professional, welcoming, nonpressuring, and patient in answering questions. We had never heard of the inStazione agency before, but asked a question of Sara, who we saw at the intersection in the train station, and looked like she would have an answer. Indeed, she did and said, follow me to her agency 3 storefronts away. I immediately felt like she was someone we could trust. While we waited for her to look up an answer, we saw all the tour brochures, and ended up booking 3 tours, a taxi, & 2-3 trains with them for the 3 days here. The next day, trying to get here from our hotel, one of our phones was picked off! We barely made it in time for the tour, but they were so helpful in our situation, with empathy & understanding, even to where to quickly get a refurbished phone before making to pompeii! The Instazione agency became quickly almost like family❣️ we appreciated so much their escort to the right train and to the taxi and to the bus, having made arrangements for each and knowing where to go to go❣️ we also appreciated how they did not try to upcharge us for another tour, but just answer our questions and give advice on what was reasonable time wise for us to both enjoy a marvelous experience in Naples! I'd highly recommend this agency to anyone! Special thanks to Sara and Chiara, as well as to Maria and Rosema!

The ladies working in the Naples agency office are the best! We relied heavily on them for four days, from March 10th through 14th. Everyone we interacted with there was extremely helpful and professional, and were life savers after we found ourselves in a very difficult and stressful situation. I will recommend inStazione to everyone!

After we had arrived at the Napoli Centrale station on March 10th, Sara noticed that we looked lost and confused when trying to figure out how to get to our hotel (because the metro train station we needed was closed) and offered to help us. She arranged for a taxi to take us to our hotel, and also helped us book the tours and transportation to Pompeii and Vesuvius that I wanted to do but hadn't had time to research and buy tickets for yet. She also saved us money in booking our train ticket back to Rome after Vesuvius.

The following morning, my phone was stolen on the way to the tour meeting point at the inStazione office, and Chiara was extremely helpful in taking me to a store in the train station and translating so that I was able to buy a new phone quickly before the Pompeii tour so that I could still take pictures there, and to another store the morning after that to get an Italian SIM card for it. We also appreciated Chiara's honesty in explaining that a regular taxi would cost less than the one provided by inStazione (we still chose the inStazione taxi).

Maria who escorted us to Pompeii for our tour was also wonderful. We also greatly appreciated being able to store our suitcases in the agency office while we were on the tours, and it was very helpful to be escorted to where the bus and the trains were in order to ensure that we found them quickly. I also appreciated that they were knowledgeable and gave good advice, but did not try to sell us any tours we did not ask them about.

We had a great experience with instazione.it for our visit to Pompeii. Their office is conveniently located across from the Hertz rental counter inside the Garabaldi train station, making it very easy to find. Giovanni greeted us and then his team accompanied us from their office all the way on the train to pomeii and all the way to the entrance of pompeii. They took care of everything for our trip, so we didn’t have to worry about schedules and logistics.

They gave us our return train tickets with the schedule clearly highlighted, giving us the flexibility to return when we wanted. Our group included everyone from young kids to older adults, and they handled it seamlessly.

Our guide inside Pompeii, Monica, was an archaeologist and very knowledgeable, presenting the history in a clear and engaging way. Overall, it was a smooth, stress-free, and enjoyable experience.

They charged me almost triple the gate fee for Vesuvius for a so called "tour". All it was was an overpriced entry ticket that I should have booked directly with Vesuvius park. Vesuvius was closed due to rain with a possibility of opening later in the day. They refused to give me any meaningful updates and had me contact the park direcly to determine a possibe reopening time. When you pay triple the market value for something you expect something in return. They also failed to refund my ticket which was never used. Avoid this scam at all costs.

Gave us dated train tickets from Rome to Pompeii. We didn't notice the date. The agent at the train station noticed. She spoke to someone and they wrote a note inItalian on our ticket and she said they were fine. We still did not know what was wrong. On our return, the conductor showed us the tickets and the date on them, they were a month old. We had to purchae 3 news tickets for $300 one way or have the police meet us at the train station. Our trip now cost $800. They also had us packed in the local train for 35 minutes to Pompeii, you barely could breath. I would not recommend this company.

We bought tickets for the Amalfi Coast tour, and on the day of the tour I felt sick. I called to try to reschedule, but they told me it wasn’t possible. We went on the tour anyway, even though I was feeling unwell (vomiting), and it’s a tour with a lot of winding roads. Our guide didn’t explain anything to us and only gave us 1 hour in each village, even though we were told we would have 2 hours to explore. I recommend choosing another agency for this tour.

Poor communication, verbal instructions rather than written, return ticket for a train 2 hours after the tour finished, wrong information given which caused us to miss our tour. Incompetence at every turn. Do yourselves a favour & go elsewhere.

Similar experience to others regarding lies about the train service to Sorrento. Told the local train takes over two hours and is overcrowded, will end up standing, etc, just so the company can earn a few Euros commission. As this appears to be an ongoing scam inStazione is not serious at changing their business model.

We bought a Pompeii tour from inStazione at Naples Centrale. The staff were really helpful and got everything well organised. The 2 hour tour was brilliant with a really nice and well-informed guide. Great service from this Naples inStazione team.

Very serious company, very professional ,very polite and friendly personnel. They set up tours that we enjoyed a lot and they were better than expected.

Our boat tour was canceled at short notice because it was overbooked. I have been waiting for my refund for a month now and have contacted customer service several times without success.

We went to this kiosk expecting tourist info. We were told that we should get the express train as the other train had 40 stops, took 1hour 40 mins and we would not get a seat. We were told we could only buy the express tickets there. They charged €35 euro for return ticket but we found they actually cost €25 so they took €10 commission on each ticket. The normal train actually has 20 stops and the express train has 10. The normal train doesn’t take 1hr 40 but around 15 minutes more than the express at most. Train was really uncomfortable too with hard plastic seats and so noisy. Feel completely scammed! Do not book this ‘express’ train - it’s a waste of money especially via Instazione.

This company is a con, they scam you. I paid for a train from Naples to Sorrento the ticket said 30 euros they charged me 40 euros, they said I can only buy the ticket from them. This was a lie. This is sneaky business and I will never be a customer again.

The tour sold by this operator appeared to be the standard open bus type of city tour available in many cities, however this one was very poor value:
The short tour around the edge of the old city of Naples was not at all informative; it didn't visit any of the interesting sites as these are all in narrow streets, and the audio was out of sync with the location of the bus;
The tours ended at around 5.30 pm and didn't start again until 9:30 the following day. This was not a 24 hour pass as sold.
