Dishonest Billing Practices – Beware
Integrity Urgent Care should seriously reconsider the word “Integrity” in their name.
In October, I visited the Quinlan location after cutting my arm on a rusty nail and needing a tetanus shot. Before receiving treatment, I clearly explained that I do not have medical insurance and specifically asked what the total out-of-pocket cost would be if I paid cash.
I was quoted $200.00.
While $200 for essentially a tetanus shot and Band-Aid already felt excessive, I agreed to the price, paid the full $200, and left assuming the transaction was complete.
Then, five months later, I received another bill for $192.00.
So apparently the original “$200” quote was not the real price after all.
This type of post-visit surprise billing is exactly the kind of practice that destroys patient trust. When a patient asks for the price in advance and pays that price in full, sending an additional bill months later is unacceptable and misleading.
For anyone in this area looking for urgent care, I strongly recommend going elsewhere. I have had far better experiences with Rapha Family Urgent Care in Greenville—their pricing is transparent, their service is better, and they do not quote one price and then send additional bills months later.

Because of this billing practice, I will be filing formal complaints with the following agencies:
- Texas Health and Human Services
- The Better Business Bureau
- The Texas Attorney General Consumer Protection Division
I will also be documenting this experience on additional consumer platforms such as Yelp and Trustpilot.
Finally, if this matter is not corrected, I will pursue recovery through Hunt County Small Claims Court. At that point, the issue will no longer be about the additional $192—it will include court costs and compensation for the time required to address what should never have happened in the first place.
Patients deserve clear pricing, honest billing, and transparency—none of which were demonstrated here.
