Avoid interrent. More expensive than agreed

Worst company ever. I rented cars regularly in many years. This was my first and last experience with interrent in Berlin Schoenfield airport.
2 days rennt supposed to cost 90€ and the money was charged to my Debit card as I dif many years eith rentalcars.com.

At the desk the lady wanted to have deposit reserved of 1000 € with a credit card. My debit card which i payed with was not good enough, unless I take a full insurance for 75€ then the deposit will be 250€.
This company are stealing your money and forcing you to have an insurance which is almost the same price as the rent.

When i said to the lady that iam not satisfied as costumer, she replied: write a review in Google.
Avoid this company.

unprofessional, no integrity, no customer focus
extremely bad experience with their customer service, i even didn't take the car and they didn't refund the money.
no wonder most of their rating is too low.

scammers avoid at all cost

Company is an absolute disgrace. I borrowed a car in Berlin Schonefeld with a limit of 2750km, I've done around 1850km and returned a car. After I got home I received an invoice for making 5850km charging my card almost 600 euros! I was trying to contact their phone lines but was told to send them an email. I'm waiting 2 weeks now with no response! Absolute scammers. Had to contact my credit card provider to process a charge back as it looks like there is nobody working at customer services.

We hired a car from these people in …

We hired a car from these people in April and we still to get our deposit for the car back. They have been moving us from pillar to post with no direct person to liase with about this issue. after having made lots of noise, we got an email from some Michael Landen from Billiger mietwagen asking us to provide proof that we still have not received our deposit money. they are a crap car hire service and i strongly advice anyone to not use them. i#ve had the worst experience with them. they do not deserve anyone's business. InterRent as a business is crap their Stuttgart office even worse.

Excellent..

I rented a car from Interrent in Munich Airport. After my flight, I directly go to Interrent desk and it took only 5 minutes to take car. Wonderful staff with smiling face and no extra push for extra insurance money. They provided me very new car with perfect condition and return procedure was also very easy and took 2 minutes..Next time again Interrent surely...Thanks..

Interrent is the worst company you can find

Interrent is the worst company you can find. Actually, it's even worse than that. I booked a car over Internet for a business trip to Germany (November 30 to December 2). Everything worked as planned. I picked up the car at the airport in Frankfurt and delivered it on December 2 at the same station. No problem whatsoever. I delivered it on time, at the correct place, with a full tank and boarded my flight back home. BUT, a few days later I received an e-mail from Interrent with an additional invoice of 260€ for supposedly delivering the car 4 days later than expected and not with a full tank, THIS IS A LIE. I can prove on-time delivery. I sent mails, a called the Customer Center, I called all available numbers, to no avail. I have not received any answer, any contact, any explanation whatsoever. But the 260€ are gone. I will never work with Interrent, Europecar (they cooperate) and Opodo ever again.

Worst company ever!

My booking was on Munchen airport in August 2016 and the first contact was a very unfriendly desk clerk lady with the worst customer service skills I've seen. Of course she tried to overcharge me on the deposit but thanks to trust pilot comments I was smart enough to get an email confirmation on the deposit amount when I booked the car online. The deposit confirmed was 200 euro's but she tried to charge 800 euro's. When confronted with the printed email she had to accept but was very irritated about it. The car had several bumps but they were mentioned on the form you receive, so make sure you check the car to match the notes on the form and do not leave if you see more.
I had the car for a week and all went well so when I returned it , the inspection was done by a third party company called ARWE if I remember correct. Make sure you pick up a written confirmation of their inspection just to be safe and check what they mentioned there.
My problem, now, is the fact that after more than a week, I stii haven't received my deposit despite the fact that there were no issues detected, and you can only send them an email hoping that they will answer....worst customer service ever!!!

Interrent Double Charging and non existent Customer Service

On 1 May 2016 I made an online booking. Picked up the car at Frankfurt Main Train station, paid the Euro 597 charges by credit card and took off for my holiday. A few days later I discovered a double charge on my credit card. When I called Interrent (Marisa) told me that she could do NOTHING about it. She even denied that there was a double charge even though the credit card statement clearly shows it. What kind of idiots are working at Interrent? The only type of Customer Service Interrent seem to have is an email address. Who would call that customer service especially that it doesnt reply anyway. So Interrent has no customer service and can only be considered a fraudulent company cheating people by double charging them and not even feeling any responsibility about it. Interrent and Europcar, you are a DISGRACE.

Additional insurancefee!! zusätzliche Versicherungsgebühren!!

We rented the car in Mallorca. It was clean and the people were friendly. Unfortunatly we accepted an additional insurance when we wanted to pick the car up, because the women just sad we had no insurance!! We were kind of helpless, so we accepted a payment from 100.- more, altough in the Email we got from Interrent it clearly said the comprehensive cover was allready paid. It was really frustrating!

Wir haben den Wagen auf Mallorca gemietet. Er war sauber und die Leute waren soweit freundlich. Leider haben wir dann am Flughafen aber eine zusätzliche Versicherungsgebühr von 100.- Euro akzeptiert, weil die Dame hinter dem Schalter einfach behauptet hat, wir hätten noch keine Versicherung. Im Email was wir von Interrent erhalten haben stand aber klar und deutlich dass wir einen Vollkaskoschutz bereits bezahlt haben! Insofern also eine schlechte Erfahrung mit Interrent

March 2016 Rental

I rented a car through Argus Car Hire booking engine and everything was perfect. The rental station is now in the airport so no need to get the shuttle to the hotel. Cheap price and friendly staff.
