Inter Voice Over - London 

This is a good introductory workshop to the world of voiceover. Organisation by Inter Voice Over was good prior to the event, with all relevant information and details sent via email. The venue itself was perfect in terms of location and the wow factor. Teas and coffees were readily available and much appreciated. The trainer was friendly, jovial and informative and the workshop itself was interesting and a decent length of time.

Warm welcome, made me feel at ease. clear explanations of what was going to happen in the day and followed through. Inspired me to want to pursue further. Demonstrated opportunities in the industry, explained via his career what jobs could be available. How you could develop and strengthen your voice, how your phone can assist i.e voice audition. listening to yourself and setting up a home voice centre!

Your company chose a very good venue and the class room area was very conducive to a good learning experience. Employing VO artists to train is also genuinely comforting when deciding if this is the line of work you want to pursue. Glen was
a very inspiring and enthusiastic trainer. He obviously loves his VO artist work and was able to give us a good all round insight into the world of VO. His work with us in sounds and speech was invaluable in whether or not we have a VO suitability and where
to go from here.

The workshop was the right length for a detailed introduction and gave us all an opportunity to practice and develop our skills. It also highlighted the fact that a career (or side career) is absolutely possible if you put the work in and go about it in the right way. Martin gave great notes when we were reading as a group. He pushed us to try different ways of conveying the message and also to be more emphatic and step outside our comfort zone. His tips on warming up the voice were excellent and made a difference and he gave good insights on the industry.

I was very impressed with the outline and structure of the afternoon and would find it hard to suggest any improvement. Just what I wanted! Glen was very professional and welcoming to us all. He is obviously very passionate about his work and this came through in his teaching approach and his desire to explain as much as he possibly could in the four hour programme. Well done and thank you Glen!!

I found the tutor Glenn was human and spoke to us all like equals explained the positives about the industry but also explained it isn’t easy, so kept it real. Was also very friendly and gave me some really interesting ideas.

The Lesson itself was also very informative and I especially liked the hand out sheets we all got explaining the phonetic alphabet.

It was very fun. I was shown an in-depth view of the voice-over world.

I learnt a great deal within a short space of time and managed to confirm that I'm definitely interested in this type of work. They thoroughly explained a great deal on what this industry involves and even mentioned some aspects that I didn't quite realise were covered in this type of work.

IVO were very friendly and professional. The initial conversation was very informative and assuring before booking. It was easy to book an appointment and Mason who recorded me was very friendly and forthcoming with hints and tips to get the best out of my recordings.

I attended a workshop at a venue in London, the presentation of the course material was carried out in highly professional manner, answers to delegates questions were given openly and concisely.
The course was informative and helpful in my deciding to pursue this activity as a career move.

The trainer was both expert and friendly and put everyone at their ease. There was a big range of interests in the group being trained; he listened to everyone and validated the different niches that people wanted to explore. It opened my eyes to the possibilities, and to what I need to do to progress without making it seem impossible.

The trainer's enthusiasm was contagious and his honesty about the reality of the industry was important to understand. The fact he is very skilled and has vast experience gave more impact to his teaching. Covered all aspects of the industry and shared true stories of work experiences. Gave a good insight into how to set up as an artist and how to create the right demo for each individual.

It gave a good introduction to the business. Whole session was informative and answers given.

This was my first experience creating a demo reel and the engineer (Mason) made me feel comfortable, gave me some great advice and pointers, and encouraged me throughout. The environment was relaxed, clean and the professional approach helped me perform. I really hope my demo will lead on to some work opportunities.
Ten out of Ten!

Will (the sound-engineer I worked with during my casting) was an all-round brilliant guy and an absolute pleasure to deal with. I'm really hoping things work out with Inter Voice, but even if they don't, I'm able to walk away having had a brilliant experience and a voice reel that I feel shows my skills really well. Even if you're just in the early thought process of giving this career path a go, I couldn't recommend a more perfect place to start.

It was made into a fun experience. Mason has a very professional approach while maintaining a not too formal atmosphere. His direction showed that he was listening very, very carefully to my voice. I have no idea what the actual outcome will be but I feel absolutely confident that my session could not have been managed better.

Studio was great, engineer top notch and (as a complete novice) I felt right at home. I would have liked to have had longer and had a go a few more scripts though.
