Do not spend any money with invideo.io.

Do not spend any money with invideo.io.

I will give you plenty of accurate details about this awful company.
I will also tell you where else you can go so your time and money do not fall victim to this aggregator. I will give you specific tips on how to get your video creations and where to go OTHER than this company where you will deal with companies who made their model, not aggregators like this company who take your money with NO accountability for their defective effort. I demanded on more than one occasion that they refund me but they already had my money and refused to take responsibility for what added to my wasting time and money. I was so incensed with these people I considered hauling them in court on this but decided to tell the story here so people make an informed decision.
First I have formal IBM training about AI. I have created AI trainings for the education market in 78 languages. I write exceptionally good and well curated prompts.
Some time around April 2026, I prepared a very well written prompt for a needed marketing video. This was not a slop prompt. Research and writing it took hours.

I then put this on invideo.io and it was a disaster. I proceeded to then coach this worthless text to video platform ( an aggregator sends your text to video to a model, you may not know which one) and it got much worse. It misinterpreted my guidance completely and did unsolicited changes and the whole project crumbled. Basically this model could NOT handle a well formed text prompt.

Insisting on a refund, this is not paraphrased, I am dropping what I got back: "
As soon as a subscription begins, we purchase those resources on your behalf so you can start creating videos right away. Because these costs are incurred upfront, we’re unable to process a refund under our policy."

Translation: "we got paid by you and your money is gone because we spent it" I was offered credits. What would I do with credits with a firm who has no respect for customers and no accountability to them? I want no credits. I am closing this account.

Now for the good stuff: do NOT go to invideo.io its not going to work. Here is what works.
No matter who you pick, a good model cannot do well with a poorly constructed prompt.
Kling is not an aggregator. Try them. Heygen is not an aggregator and I get really good results there. You may have to use an avatar but the model really understand well prompts. After wasting my time with invideo.io, I went back to heygen and I had a functional video with a few small corrections within an hour. Bottom line do NOT go to aggregators like invideo.io. You are wasting your precious time and capital with people who like invideo.io who wind up exploiting you out of your hard earned money.

I am NOT done with telling you about Invideo.io. I have reason to believe the following story is about a deliberate strategy to take even more of your money. I went to cancel my subscription. All it really needs is your signaling you are cancelling. But invideo.io has a little trick up its sleeve to take your cash. So after you signal cancelling a subscription, the model harasses you with non stop questions one after another. It went on and on and on. These people are sick. So the outcome is that once you pull away from the time wasting questions…you never get to a final screen where you have to restate your cancel. So days after their abusing me financially with a service that does not work, they REBILLED me!!!!!!!! They have this built in, its not an accident it is by design. They can argue that you never really cancelled because they used this little sick trick. DO NOT GO TO INVIDEO.IO.
Try Kling, heygen or other companies who do not resell as aggregators but have their own text to video engine. Invideo is an unethical provider.

Canceled subscription but they keep charging my card

My username is veroni-c170e534. I canceled my subscription, yet this company continues taking money from my card without my consent. When I contacted support, they simply said they “can’t do anything,” which is ridiculous and feels like a deliberate scam.
There is no option to remove my payment method, which traps users into ongoing charges. This is not how a legitimate business operates — this is unauthorized billing.
I strongly warn everyone: do NOT enter your card details here unless you’re ready to fight to stop charges later.

⭐ 1-Star Review for InVideo.io

⭐ 1-Star Review for InVideo.io

I subscribed to InVideo AI expecting a simple way to turn my PowerPoint presentations into narrated videos for teaching. Not even one hour later, I realized it didn’t work as expected — there was no clear way to upload my PPTX as advertised, and the interface was confusing.

I never even used the service beyond completing the demo/free version before subscribing. When I asked for a refund — just minutes after subscribing — support refused and pointed to a rigid “no refund” policy. Instead of helping, they offered credits I didn’t want or need.

For educators or creators looking for a simple tool: test the free version thoroughly before paying. Because once you subscribe, you're stuck — even if the service doesn’t work for you. Very disappointing experience and poor customer-first approach.

Disappointing experience with invideo.ai

I'm extremely disappointed with invideo.ai services. Despite working with them multiple times, they've consistently failed to deliver quality videos. Their AI clone feature, which I was excited to try, fell short of expectations.

Major Issues:

Inaccurate Representation: They used a Caucasian picture to represent me, an African American running for Congress, which is unacceptable.
- Unprofessional Output: The $25 "custom" picture looked like a mugshot with a generic "Running for Congress" caption.
Lack of Attention to Detail: Same old pictures kept showing up in different videos, indicating a lack of quality control.
- Unexpected Charges: Being asked to pay extra for a service I thought was included is frustrating.

Given these issues, I would not recommend Video.AI to anyone seeking professional video services. Their mistakes have wasted my time and money, and I'm exploring other options.

Invideo will suck the life out of you!

A huge waste of time. I tries and tried over several weeks to create a useable, pro video. The platform will produce a great very splashy video .. but it will need editing. Some of the scene slides are just out of place. Then you might want to use one of your uploads, maybe a logo. Once you start editing it all falls apart. I mean each edit gets worse. The editor not only will not create the edits you are asking for it will continually add its own unrequested slides. The editor is a mess. If it was free it would still cost you in terms of your own time lost. BTW I was at the same time trying out HeyGen - don't bother with this one either. Possibly worse than Invideo due to their support being amazingly awful!
