What can I say about the team at Ionian… WOW just wow.

I can’t thank them enough for helping me plan such an incredible day. My wedding was beyond my wildest imaginations thanks to them.

From the initial sales team working with Lucy to find my perfect venue (which they were so lovely with all of the questions and not pushy at all). To planning my day with my amazing planner Rachel - the whole thing was a dream from start to finish and they made everything so easy.

I can’t thank her and the team at Ionian Weddings enough for what was a beyond magical day. The whole process from start to finish ran very smoothly and all our questions were answered with little delay, we only had a couple of things to organise ourselves, otherwise Ionian handled the bulk of it. Four months on and we keep thinking back to our perfect day. There were a few small hiccups on the day, but nothing major, and this is always to be expected with such a large and complex event with so many moving parts. I wouldn’t fault the organisers at all. We had our dream wedding in Tuscany thanks to Ionian Weddings! From start to finish, the team were absolutely incredible. Communication was seamless throughout — we always felt completely up to date and confident that everything was in hand.

A huge thank you to Emma and Serena, whose organisation, patience, and attention to detail made the whole process so enjoyable and stress-free. On the day itself, despite the unpredictable weather keeping us all on our toes, they handled everything perfectly — waiting until the very last minute to make the right call and still giving us the wedding of our dreams. It was truly perfect and we can’t thank them enough for bringing our vision to life.

A great experience from start to finish. My now husband and I decided we'd like to get married in the sun and having visited Sorrento a couple of years prior decided it would be the perfect location to do this. We are so happy we found Ionian Weddings to help us plan our perfect day. We dealt with Emma from the UK team throughout the planning process. Met with Gemma and Anna for our venue viewings and were lucky to have Anna with us again for our wedding day. Each member of the Ionian team was a pleasure to deal with, very knowledgeable and made our wedding planning experience as easy as possible for us. Our guests commented on how our wedding seemed like something from a movie thanks to Emma helping us plan all the finer details in the run up to the big day and again they all commented on how professional and lovely Anna was on the day of our wedding helping everything run smoothly. We would highly recommend the team.

We just wanted to say the biggest thank you to the uk team and the wonderful team in Santorini (Dana Villas) Our wedding day was everything we dreamed of and more — truly magical — and that’s all thanks to the love, care, and effort you all put in.

Words can not express our deep gratitude to the Ionian wedding team that was involved in making our dream wedding a reality on the beautiful island of Kefalonia, on the magical Antisamos beach.

From our initial contact with Lucy in sales- her responsiveness and advise was absolutely brilliant and we knew we were in safe hands. The next part of the journey was handled by Emma our UK wedding planner- Emma guided us through the whole process, set up the necessary calls once decisions had to be made, provided us with the final catalogues months in advance and constantly liaising with the lovely Dimitra- the wedding planner in Greece. Emma- thanks so much for everything you have done, you went above and beyond to make this as stress free as possible.





And finally on the island- we met with Dimitra a few days before the wedding to ensure everything is on track and we felt so relieved as you could tell she has been doing this for many years- a true professional. Dimitra and her team executed everything we have chosen to the next level on the day and we could not have been any happier with the outcome. Everyone was dancing- including some of the staff at Antisamos Bar which we LOVED until 1am.

If anyone is still reading this review and wondering whether you should rip of the plaster and join the Ionian Wedding team- go ahead as you will not be disappointed, you are in real experts hands and will have a stress free wedding!

We recently got married at the breathtaking San Galgano Abbey in Tuscany, and we honestly couldn’t have done it without Ionian Weddings. From start to finish, the whole process was seamless and far less stressful than you’d imagine planning a destination wedding might be.

The wonderful Emma in London was our first point of contact and made everything feel clear, straightforward, and exciting from the very beginning. Emma was an absolute dream to work with and truly took all the stress off of myself and my now Husband. Once in Tuscany, we were lucky enough to work with Serena and Niko, who were a dream team. Their professionalism, warmth, and knowledge meant every single detail was thought of and perfectly executed, leaving us to fully spend out time taking it all in and celebrating with our loved ones!

Our three-day celebration ran smoothly thanks to them and the wonderful staff at the venue, from the welcome pizza party, to the wedding day itself, and finally to our BBQ on the last day! We felt so supported at every step, and everything we’d envisioned came to life more beautifully than we could have imagined.

If you’re considering a destination wedding, we can’t recommend Ionian Weddings highly enough. They made our dream Tuscan wedding not just possible, but unforgettable.

Ionian Weddings makes you find abroad wedding venues that you would never find on your own. Communication is excellent and they make the planning of the wedding so easy so that it doesn’t take over your whole life! We would have never had our Tuscan wedding without them and we would highly recommend this company.

We’ve had the most wonderful wedding day planned and coordinated by Ionian Weddings in Crete! Our wedding took place in the most gorgeous villa, surrounded by the hills and with beautiful sea views. The organisation of this was made easy by the wonderful planning of Rachael and Liz! They knew and delivered exactly what we’ve asked for in terms of decorations and the whole on the day look. They’ve also helped us with all of the formalities which is always the least fun part of wedding planning. The communication was always great and nothing was too much to ask for.

Thank you so much again! We will never forget this wonderful day! We would 100% recommends you to any future couples considering getting married abroad. We didn’t really have to do much ourselves, apart from enjoying the wonderful day!! All made easy by having someone like Rachel and Liz.

Wow just wow! We had our wedding at Sea View by En Kipo in Chania, Crete. Rachel and Liz from Ionian weddings did an absolutely amazing job at taking away any stress of planning a wedding and were so efficient and helpful. The venue, customer service, entertainment, food, facilities were out of this world and we can’t thank Ionian wedding enough!! Our wedding was the best day of our lives. Thank you so much!

We want to thank Ionian and their amazing vendors on making our day so perfect and magical as we recently had a villa wedding in Crete. A special shout out to Rachel and Liz who are absolute super stars!! But the whole team have been amazing with the support and planning throughout our experience.

We cannot put into words just how amazing the whole experience was, the location was absolutely stunning, we have had friends and family rave about how all the food was one of the best they have ever had and we have just felt so supported and well taken care of from the very start right through to the big day.

Our Tuscan wedding was nothing short of amazing. From the start we felt at ease with Emma who was always very responsive to any questions we had and the timeline/deadlines were made clear to avoid any last minute stress. Emma was always very friendly and available to liaise between ourselves and the venue to ensure a smooth process and pieced together our perfect day.

Once in Italy we were met by our co-ordinator Serena who not only made us feel extremely calm, but executed our perfect wedding flawlessly. After running through the day beforehand and handing over anything we brought with us, we were able to have a completely stress-free day as everything was taken care of for us. The staff at Ionian were personable and seemed to genuinely care about your upcoming experience.

Memories were made with our closest family and friends in the most stunning venue that will last a lifetime.

A true dedication to customer service, Ionian Weddings was the only abroad wedding company that actually listened to what we wanted (a few very specific requirements) and sent over appropriate locations - most of the other sites didn’t send appropriate recommendations. From the moment of booking, Rachel made the whole process so easy - updates and reminders sent regularly, along with occasional check ins to make sure I’m happy and if I have any Qs. Very quick responses, even if it was to inform me of the team being busy, but always provided a date of when they’d be able to get back to my request. I never thought planning a wedding would be so easy, but Rachel was amazing and on top of everything for me. The team understand the importance of your wedding and work so hard to make everything easy for you, which is a godsend. The post wedding care isn’t lacking either, you feel valued and cared for the entire process. Couldn’t recommend more.

When we decided to get married in Hvar, Croatia, we were slightly apprehensive as to how everything would work, especially from abroad. We came across Ionian Weddings online and they had amazing reviews, so we thought we would try them.

From the very beginning, our UK wedding planner Maria was fantasic. She helped put our minds at ease, by answering all of our questions and providing us with the reassurance that we needed.
She was always so quick to respond to our questions and explained things very clearly.
If we were unsure about something, we would seek her guidance and she helped us tremendously with our decision making!

We were then put in touch with Ariana, the wedding coordinator in Croatia. Ariana's relaxed style also made us feel like we were in good hands. She, too, explained clearly how things would work once we were there.

We must say both of them made a fantastic team and having them as our planners took all of the stress away. When we got to Hvar, it all became real when we met Ariana face to face and saw the venue that we would be getting married in.

The venue itself was incredible. Everything from the decor, the lights, the flowers and the food/drink was way beyond our expectations. It was truly magical and we can't thank the both of them enough for bringing our vision to life.

Our guests also commented on how great Ariana was as our celebrant. She made sure the day went smoothly and was always available if we needed her.

We are so grateful for choosing Ionian Weddings to organise our special day and we would highly recommend them to anyone wanting to marry abroad.....we had a blast and made amazing memories with our friends and family.

We’ve just booked our wedding in Cyprus with Ionian Weddings and couldn’t be happier with the experience so far! everything has been incredibly smooth and stress-free. A big thank you to Lucy, who has been absolutely amazing—so helpful, knowledgeable, and quick to respond to any questions we had.

I’m still not over our wedding day & I don’t think I can quite find the words to explain how incredible it was. From booking the wedding to the night it finished I can’t thank Ionian weddings enough! Everyone says it’s the best day of your life and you nod because you know it will be, but I don’t think I realised just how it will be everything and more. We got married 21.06.25 in Santorini at Santo Winery & Pyrgos Restaurant and there hasn’t been a day since I haven’t looked at all the photos or wished I could do it all again! You are putting all your trust in these guys (for 2 1/2 year in our case) to plan every minute of your special day and I am so glad I picked them! We booked completely blind, we hadn’t seen any of the venues beforehand & maybe this made it more special on the day. From booking with Lucy who was so helpful with the packages, we were then passed over to Rachel late 2024 to really start the planning process. Everything is so straightforward with the brochures but my mind was a web of questions and Rachel was simply amazing, always quick to reply to any email no matter how silly the question and really made the whole process a walk in the park! There is still some apprehension as we’d never been there but when we arrived in Santorini two days before the wedding we met with Voula & Giannis and they made any last minute worries we had disappear, they had things I didn’t even think of & the day could not have ran smoother and this is all down to everyone involved at Ionian Weddings, it really was our dream wedding, more than we could have imagined or wished for and I would book with these guys again in a heartbeat. We could not have done this without you, I will never get over it I just keep replaying the day in my head.

We decided to book our wedding through Ionian weddings after reading reviews and researching the company, we were not disappointed. Our wedding planner Rachel was lovely, she guided us through everything and what i loved about her is she was very honest, if she felt we didn’t need something she would say- rather than waste money on unnecessary things. It was a very stress free experience. Liz the wedding coordinator in Greece was just amazing, you could tell that she really cared about our special day.
We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding. It was everything we dreamed of.

We chose Thermes Luxury Villas as our venue and it was just perfect for not only the Wedding Day, but for making precious memories with our family and friends in the final days leading up to the big day.
