PANEK IS SCAMMERS, THEY TOOK MY DESPOSIT, 600 EURO! WARNING, DO NOT RENT FROM THEM!

absolutely do not recommend Panek Car Rent. My experience was extremely disappointing and stressful. The car I chose on their website was completely different from the one I actually received – it was of lower quality and had significantly more scratches than indicated in the signed rental form. This is an important warning for future customers – the company may try to shift responsibility onto the renter if anything goes unnoticed, so it is crucial to carefully inspect the vehicle before signing any documents.

I also encountered the unusual requirement of paying for the car wash before the rental, which I found completely unjustified.

The biggest issue, however, was the deposit refund. Before the rental, the company is reachable, but when trying to recover the deposit, they unlawfully withhold the money and completely ignore all attempts to contact them – emails and phone calls go unanswered. This is entirely unacceptable and very frustrating.

Additionally, I left expensive glasses in the car. I called 10 minutes after returning the vehicle, asking them either to collect and send the glasses or keep them at the office so someone could pick them up. They claimed that there were no glasses in the car. However, I had them on my face during the drive to the rental office, which was the last place I used them. So where could they possibly have disappeared? A true mystery, highlighting the company’s lack of professionalism.

In summary, the entire experience was extremely unprofessional and stressful. There are definitely better rental companies that treat customers fairly and responsibly. Never again Panek.

ZERO starts Avoid this company. They rent out dirty cars. At the beginning, I was forced to take full insurance - the reason being a UK driver's license, not a Polish one. Ridiculous. Many times I rented with a UK driver's license, never had any problems. Usually, it's just customer rip-off. The best, however, awaited me at the end... The return flight was at 3 in the morning... No one showed up to pick up the car... the company was closed... RIDICULOUS. AVOID(PANEK AIRPORT WARSAW)

#Warning to all UK drivers licence holders#:
I arrived to collect a car I hired for 4 days in Poland and on arrival I was i formed that the I would not be allowed to collect the car unless I paid for the extra insurance that is provided by them. I tried to explain that I already had coverage and the agent told me that because of Brexit and holding a UK drivers licence that if I wanted to continue I would have to buy the insurance from them nothing else would be permitted. I also had to pay the fuel usage charge of an extra £52 even if I returned the car with a full tank I would not get that back. When trying to ask for signs or information about these policies the agent couldn't show me them but said that without these extra charges I would not get the car. So Warning to all UK licence holders so not use this car rental service pay the extra ans use a proper car rental service.

Frauds do not deal

After I returned the car to Prague airport Panek has returned my deposit. Then month after they charged my credit card 2x132 euros and then after 6 monthts 260 euros. They have not provided any reason or proof for those actions. I cancelled the credit card and I am now involved in legal case via Czech lawyer to sue Panek.

DO NOT DO ANY BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE CRIMINALS!

Avoid, avoid at all cost, i had a car hired from Gdansk Airport collection 1am, desk was closed, line not available till morning, end up waiting 4 hours on the airport to catch a train, trying to get refund now which is also difficult.

Nothing adds up!
We reserve the car and they say that we have nothing more to pay, when we go to pick up the car, if we don't pay the amount they ask for, they won't let us pick up the car, and in my case, they gave me a speeding ticket, or they tried to, I'm going to take the case to court, BE CAREFUL!!

Very bad experience. Bad service. The cars arrived very late. We return them in perfect condition, however they have not returned the deposit and on top of that they have charged us additional expensas, without ant explanation. You have no one to contact to complain to. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!

I received an offer 5 days for 4 euros.
Then when I give back the car they charged without information 400 pln because the car was considered as dirty.
(of course it was not true).
Then they newer give me the bail back.
So they charged me for 4000 pln, but I don't know why.
The planned cost it was 4 euro than I paid 1046 euro!!
Of course I wrote many mails and they never answered.
I contacted them of Facebook and they never answered just cancel my comment and blocked me.
Just avoid them!

we rented car in Krakow - returned to Wroclaw. Car collected dirty with missing screen wash liquid (but ware told not need to clean it on return). We had no email and access to collect protocol on the collection! Took photography records of car condition. We received pdf file via call centre next day. Car returned. Took own photography proofs again.RETURN Protocol ZIP file was locked and Pasword was not working. few days later was charged for alleged damages £1600 with deposit still being blocked for nearly 2 weeks.
PIN for ZIP - NOT WORKING & WAS DENIED BY STAFF AND SUPPORT! Staff claim has no access to photography proofs of alleged damage. Emailed Complaint department and any kind of emails send are left with no respoce. I Only accessed ZIP files - because I used Panek year earlier and had emailed PIN year ago - surprise - same pin worked this time and had nothing to do with my last digits on driving licence! Panek said we made total of 8-9 scratches to car all around on every side of car. however, photography proofs are only show the cleanless of the car. No prove of damage. Reported to Bank/credit card as SCAM under section 75

I rent a car with them from Krakow, they charged me 900 euro deposit to be refunded in 30 days.
It never happened and it is impossible to be in contact with them via phone, emails, chats. That's a SCAM company

Scam: charged 4000 PLN (about 1000 Euro) for damage; don't answer the phone and didn't even send photos of the damage. I have the entire car video recorded with no damages.

I rented the car only 1 day throw RENTALCARS and they after drop off without any problems I received 2 fees charged for total 700€ without any notice and reasons.
ABSOLUTELY DON'T RENT PANEK, no trastable company and Scammers.
Don't use also RENTAL CARS, no serious company, I rented using Rentalcars and they don't admit any responsability. Very bad. Fabrizio

one hour delay in the delivery of the car,
A car with gears was requested and they gave us an automatic one.
There was no one at the car reception.
They have not given us an invoice.
They have not returned the deposit.

NEVER EVER USE THIS COMPANY!!!! Worst experience in my life. Rented cars all over the world, but never had such a terrible service. Thieves, no other definition. Communication is worst, never reply to emails, or it takes them forever. I have no other choice but to complain to the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection and European Car Rental Concilliation Service.
