Our ipod nano 5 battery dies (common issue).
Sent in for repair for their advertised 2-3 day turnaround
Several weeks later with no update, I called them and they were apparently awaiting parts (battery??). They eventually returned it 'repaired'. So the battery was great but now the headphone socket had become intermittent. So stupidly, and perhaps naively, I returned it for this repair again (2-3 day advertised turnaround again?) and soon got an automated email advising they were awaiting parts. 5 weeks later they contact me again to advise that it is beyond economical repair due to the previous socket being glued in which they state was done by a bodged repair.
So I am left asking, where did this glue come from (it hasn't been for repair anywhere else!), how did it take 5 weeks and 'awaiting parts' to discover this? And they won't return it without payment of £19.95 for their diagnostic labour.
They refuse to discuss or communicate in any way about this.
Seriously folks, avoid at all costs (I have proof of all the above)

Ipod Classic repair

I have a large music collection so my 160 gb classic is very important to me whilst on my regular business travels. When I experienced problems the prospect of having to spend £500 on a replacement was a little off putting to say the least.
I contacted the repair centre and they said they could help - I was also on a tight schedule but this wasn't a problem either.
Dropped the machine off - got a confirmation mail - got a text later that day to say it was ready for collection - brilliant! Cost of repair £60.00 What can I say !!

Don't bin that classic IPOD, get it repaired, go to Ipodrepaircentre

My 6th generation 160gb IPOD Classic experienced a corrupted hard drive, suggestions from Apple to just get a new IPOD Touch and Amazon selling "new" Ipod classic ones for £500, I wanted to find a suitable repairer for my player. I looked at the clear website for Ipodrepaircentre and commenced an online chat. Very quickly after a brief description, they quoted a price which was very reasonable. It was possible to mail in the Ipod but I chose to go to the shop in North End Road. Greeted by an amiable gentleman it was obvious that this retailer handled all sorts of computer/Ipod repairs. He told me that the quote had been for a different model, this was my fault and immediately told me what it would cost, slightly more. I was happy with this and he also said it could be ready the same day. I said I would be able to pick it up the next day. During the afternoon I received acknowledgement of the repair being undertaken and then texts and emails advising that the repair had passed quality assurance and then that it was ready to be collected with all appropriate details. I duly collected the Ipod the following day repaired and at the price quoted. I also received email confirmation that the Ipod had been collected. So pleased to have my music player restored. So great to be able to support a small independent business and obtain great customer service.

Thank goodness for places like this

So like many my trusted old Gen 6 iPod earphone socket was only connecting to one side and therefore the earphones were only playing through one earpiece.

Went onto Apple and they made an appointment for me to go to the Genius Bar, where a "Genius" said there is simply nothing to be done. CROOKS!

Googled and found these guys. Dropped in my iPod on Saturday, and collected it today - Monday. Guaranteed work, delight to deal with and well worth it. Clearly Apple are more than just tax evading crooks, they also simply cannot be bothered when an item is over an certain age,

I have no hesitation or reservations in recommending this company for repairs.

Life Savers

the jack socket on my ipod was faulty and would only play audio through one side of my headphones.

i was skeptical at first at sending my ipod classic off to them but I didnt really have any other reliable choice so decided to risk it, and the risk definitely paid off, this was a job that so called phone and ipod technicians wouldn't even touch because the screen is easy to damage.

but these guys did a perfect job my ipod is fully functional again and its been roughly 5/6 months and i still haven't had a problem

i personally would recommend and vouch for these guys based on my personal experience.

Super-speedy service!

I thought my iPod classic was beyond repair (liquid damage) but dropped it off with these guys one afternoon and received a text ad email literally just a few hours later saying it was fixed and ready for collection. Works perfectly, all my music and photos are still on there, and it's as good as new. Really pleased. It wasn't as cheap as some out-of-London services where you post your device in, but was definitely worth it for speed and convenience. Slightly nervous about only having a 14-day warranty, but understand this is pretty standard for liquid damage.

Very pleased - thought phone was a write-off!

Badly damaged iPhone 6, with shattered screen, to the point of seriously obscuring the view, and severely dented chassis. Had seriously considered the cost of buying a new one, but as otherwise (by some miracle) it seemed to be in working order, decided to see if it could be repaired. Dropped off the phone lunchtime, was contacted 3 hours later with confirmation of a fully repaired phone front-and-back. Taking the repair route has saved me a considerable expense. Couldn't recommend enough!

Excellent service!

It was a very good experience from beginning to end. Very good service from the point of clicking the website (where you're immediately asked if you want a quote) to entering the store, very nice gentlemen there! Repair was very quick, communication about my repair job was very good. Very happy they were able to repair the headphone jack on my ipod after being told elsewhere that it was too old and no where had the part to fix it. The store was easy to find, and easily reachable (if you live in London that is!). I would/will definitely use them again if ever I have a problem with any of my apple devices again. I would/will recommend them to everyone!!

Very good first impression

I just got my Ipod classic back - I needed to get a new battery and a new Headphone socket. I went to the shop itself and was kindly given a discount because there were two jobs instead of one. I received an email advising me when to get the ipod back and went to collect it. Pleasant chat each time with the man behind the counter which adds to the overall experience and fosters trust in the service.
I will post again in a few weeks when I have given a bit of listening mileage to my 'new' ipod ;)

Very good service, no complaints at all.

Everything worked perfectly. Dropped off my iPod Classic having already received a diagnosis (hard drive failure) and quote by e-mail. That was Friday afternoon. Was e-mailed and texted the following Tuesday to say the device was ready for collection (thus saving a hefty £7.95). I am very pleased with how smoothly this repair went. In fact, I am grateful to find anyone who could repair a piece of kit that is now obsolete.

Don't believe in website price

My iPod classic baterry as fauty and the service for replace for new baterry is £45 on Ipodrepaircentre website. I send the iPod to fix and after 4 days they send me message to pay £ 69.95 for the same service. Don't trust what website say...

Exellent service and price

My 10 year old i pod classic had a dead battery and centre button not working properly. Gave it in for repair and in a couple of days both problems fixed for £45. Iam happy with that, replacing the battery sometimes gets rid of problems with the click wheel and centre button. It definetly worked with my i pod. would go back for any repairs.

Excellent Service

Took my old iPod Classic 7th Gen in to have the dock connector repaired. I was surprised how organised & efficient ipodrepaircentre were. Everything was documented, printed, automated, serial numbers taken, etc. You can track your repair online, and are even sent automated emails/txts, both when the item has been repaired AND when it's available for collection. Great service for an independent business. I will definitely use them again, and would have confidence that they could repair much more than just an old iPod.
