An amazing and unforgettable experience. The camp was authentic, well organised, and a great combination of boxing, culture, and adventure.

A special mention goes to the head coach, who is truly exceptional — not only as a boxing trainer, but also as a very intelligent and wise person. His knowledge, experience, and way of teaching made a big difference throughout the camp. The local boxers were also excellent and a pleasure to train with.

We were three boxers of different levels, and the training was adapted very well for all of us. Everyone was able to learn, improve, and be challenged at their own level, which shows the quality of the coaching.

The accommodation and hospitality were fantastic. The host of the house is an absolute sweetheart, always caring and attentive. She cooks incredibly well, with homemade food prepared with real love and care, which made the whole stay even more special.

If I had to mention one point honestly, I expected the physical side of the camp to be even harder. However, the overall experience was still excellent and something I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a real boxing experience in a unique place.

The hospitality of the staff was above and beyond anything I have experienced. Coach Azamat and his assistant coaches are all current or ex national/International champions and have been practicing the sport for more than a decade. They were able to adapt their training to cater to a novice like myself and an intermediate boxer like my friend. We also hung out with some of the local boxers between sessions for hikes and visits to the thermal pools.

The accommodation which was nearby was also fantastic. The room was a basic en-suite but the hospitality and quality of food made by our host Elena was top notch.

This was by far the best boxing camp experience I have ever had. From the food to the training itself, everything was provided for to an incredibly high standard and the Iron Curtain team were always on standby to check if I needed anything. Kyrgyzstan itself is a beautiful country and Issyk Kul is like something out of Rocky 4. The people are also incredibly welcoming and kind - I was almost part of the village by the end of it! I will most certainly be coming back here and recommend it to anyone who wants to disconnect and train hard!

This was honestly a unique experience. I love boxing and keeping fit. I had never been East of Germany and to come to Eastern Ukraine was nothing like I had ever seen. The training was intense and the limited sparring I did was really tough- this country had excellent fighters. I'm still aching from all the training. Highly recommend this Boxing Bootcamp and big thanks to head coach Oleg.
