I would like to say a huge thank you to Imam Habeeb (and everyone behind the scene) for helping me with my khula application. Being in this situation was very difficult to say the least. My ex husband refused to give me talak and wanted to take advantage of me. I didn’t know where to look and how long a khula application will take. I heard stories of how it can take years for a divorce to go through and how the shariah council sides more towards the man’s side of the story but this was not the case with Islamic Fatwah council.

I had paid a fee of £350 and Imam Habeeb helped me through the entire process. He said it would take roughly 2-4 months for the divorce to go through but in my case it only took 5 weeks. My divorce certificate was emailed to me at the end and there were no hidden fees.

Throughout the entire process, Imam Habeeb was very understanding and patient. He listened to everything I had to say and gave me the reassurance that I needed. He was prompt with his replies and even contacted me during out of work hours to ease my worries.

No one wants to be divorced but when there is no compatibility and when the trust has been broken then there is no other choice but to separate. I have learnt to trust the process and always have tawwakul in Allah. May Allah (swt) help all the sisters who are going through something similar. Please don’t hesitate reaching out to Islamic Fatwa Council. They will help you and guide you.

After several unsuccessful attempts elsewhere, IFC made a very challenging and emotional time significantly easier. Their communication was clear and consistent, and they ensured both parties had the opportunity to be heard. Alhamdulilah, after struggling to find a Islamic council in my local area to help me, I found Islamic Fatwa Council who helped me dissolve marriage efficiently with great professionalism and communication within a couple of months. After stressful months the Fatwa council gave me hope. Would highly recommend. Would like to thank my brother for helping me JazakAllah khair.

I paid £350 for an Islamic divorce through the Islamic Fatwa Council, with the understanding that this would include a physical certificate. At no point during the process was it disclosed that this would incur an additional fee. I am now being asked to pay a further £150, which I believe may constitute misrepresentation or a breach of contract under UK consumer law.

I have requested that the certificate be sent without any additional charge. If this is not resolved, I may be forced to report this as a potential case of fraud.

The Imam Sahib was brilliant and explained to me all the processes of doing a Khula and the process was smooth and simple.

Alhamdulillah Muslum Fatwa Council helped me to dissolve my marriage by the grace of almighty. The brothers has shown a lots of patients, professionalism and wisdom to deal my case.
