great teachers and all the information received during classes is priceless !!!

The class is just like it was explained to me, and very informative. I enjoy my teacher, the way he he explains the subject for the week really leaves you knowing that subject.

I have been blessed since I started Biblical Hebrew A. I need Hebrew for the work I am curruntly doing (Côte d'Ivoire Bible Society) as translation officer in training. I have been able to read (not yet fluently) but I am taking it day by day and I know that I will make progress. Not as fast as some people but, I will.

I am thrilled by the content of the course and with the amazing teacher. Before attending the course I did Levels A to E. It is perfect for me repeating grammar and vocabulary in a wonderful atmosphere. Our teacher Mr Francois de Villiers explains every question or unusual form/word in writing and orally. So I am able to repeat the lesson perfectly. Mr Francois de Villiers is a very good teacher.

Biblical Hebrew B with IIBS has been great. I have been able to understand the lessons very well, Jacobo Gil has an excellent personality and great way of teaching.

It opens your mind/thoughts to the intricacies of the roles played by the jews in the bible

I have learned SO much in this course that opens the Old Testament up and brings it to life. It is exactly what I had hoped it would be and then some!

Márcio de Carvalho is an excellent teacher full of vibrancy.
I love this class because Hebrew words and roots are explained and connection between Bible stories and characters.
There is interaction appropriately in the class and when it finishes I will miss this class very much. (I don't have enough cash so unable to rebook) but this course above the others is nourishing - "chicken soup for the soul".

The teacher has been very knowledgeable and helpful in understanding concepts. Recommendations for the course is about being able to connect with other students. We are not given any contact information. It would be nice to allow for contact information within the course so we can reach out.

This is my first time taking a non canonical book as a course. I wanted to take that Hebrew book of Revelation course but the academic advisor encouraged me to take the book of Enoch. It has opened for me the window into the Jewish apocalyptic tradition. Through this lens, I am understanding apocalyptic literature very differently now and it's making more sense.

It has been extremely fun participating in Biblical Hebrew B class and learning beyond the basics of the Hebrew Language. In addition to the simple grammar of the Hebrew Language, it has been pleasant to discover new meanings and interpretations of the Bible, Torah, Mishna, New Testament, and many other Biblical scripture and writings, all of which cover such a vast amount of religious History. The teacher is very good at what he does, that is, helping the class learn and understand the content at the highest level of which they are capable. It has been an honor and joy to be able to learn through this program.

Fiona is so incredibly knowledgeable. She makes sure everyone understands the material in the class, as well as adding more of her own materials that she has prepared. She has such a passion and love for teaching the language and giving her utmost to each student. You could not get a better instructor!

I see I'm still listed as Hebrew C, when I started the last series of private lessons. I have since completed Hebrew E and I'm currently in Unit 6 of Aramaic. I'm very pleased with the private lessons that give me the opportunity to move through the courses at the speed I want +++ The course is great and offers students the resources to advance as far and as deep in the language as they wish.

I have enjoyed taking Hebrew C level, even though it is a difficult course. Our Instructor explains all concepts so well. It has been great studying with our group of Students as well, we all contribute and learn from each other as well.

I am retaking the Hebrew A before moving on to B. I love the teacher I have, she explains things and goes over things very well and to where it is understood.

I'm enjoying the class. The content is very interesting, teaching a very detailed and nuanced understanding of the Torah. Our teacher is wonderful - very inspiring and joyful.

Having the option to watch the classroom teaching over has helped tremendously.

This is a great course. Only for the serious learner. This was my second time to take the course. I realize I need more time to devote to studying outside of class. I am 72 and If I was retired I could do this as I would have more time. But I am still working full time and we are trying to downsize planning on retiring in the next 2 years. I love the class and both instructors I have had are great. I am now taking lecture classes. I love what you offer. Thank you for being here.
