Something is really wrong with the shop…

Something is really wrong with the shop an needs to be reported to a regulator for online shopping. They make the return process extremely difficult with their website not working properly to allow you to return your unwanted clothes. I wish I would have read these reviews before ordering clothes.
As a lawyer I know that these processes don't follow the online commerce standards in the UK and I will find their regulator and report them.

Oxford Circus store.
I just need to say - since you closed this store, you closed down your ability to provide good quality, good design in quality natural fibre clothing. Everything you sell now is cheap nasty rubbish probably from china instead of Italy. So sad. I haven’t bought from you in years and years. Learn from this! Go back to the way you were or die!

Commendation for Mr. Chun Waing Toby

I would like to commend Chun Waing Toby at the Birmingham Selfridges, Sisley counter. His level of customer etiquette is superb. He not only has knowledge on array of Sisley products, but also the arts and the historical background of the product ranges for e.g the perfumery.

He is a true 'gem' at Sisley.

The worst experience with online orders

The worst experience I've ever had with online orders. I ordered the number 38 of a pair of trousers and received the 42, sent from Italy to Portugal. After contacting the support service, I was told that I had ordered the Italian 42, which is not true, as the size corresponds perfectly to the 42 we have here and is indeed too big - besides, the other item I ordered was sent with the correct number. As if it wasn't enough that it wasn't possible to solve the matter in a physical local shop, having to send the item back to Italy again, the brand doesn't offer an exchange service, forcing me to make a new purchase, something that won't be possible because the item was on sale and will soon cease to be available. Carnivalesque!

Very poor customer service from Sisley

Very poor customer service from Sisley. Firstly I purchased a pair of trousers from the Sisley Venice store on 13 July 2023. I paid for the trousers and got a receipt. Later that day we travelled to Lucca, Italy from Venice and the next morning I discovered that the Sisley shop attendant had not removed the security tag. This was annoying but I discovered there was a Sisley shop 200m from where I was staying in Lucca. I went there and asked if they could help. I understand that they have different tags in the stores so I accept they couldn’t assist with that. What was worse was the extremely rude behaviour and obvious lack of willingness to help. The lady brushed us off and basically told us to go away. We did not make a mistake here, it felt bad to be treated wrongly like this. I would expect the lady in Lucca to at least suggest some way of helping, rather than being obviously rude and dismissive. Stay away from Sisley.

Worst company

I have returned an order since 19th January and still no refund. Keep receiving an automated message they will get back to me but no answer so far. Do not recommend Sisley - do not buy from them. They are scams.

DO NOT USE

DO NOT USE. If I could give zero stars I would. Clothes were good quality but didn’t fit so I returned. Had to take three copies of order to UPS drop off shop. Thankfully I got an electronic UPS receipt and had paid through PayPal. After four weeks I had absolutely no communication from the company, no confirmation that they received the goods, nothing to say they agreed a refund and no refund offered. I tried to contact the company through the website but it was down, I then tried the links on their emails but they went nowhere. I then received an email from ‘Benetton’ that was reported as spam (and warning me not to reply) asking me to confirm the order number. At this point I raised a complaint through PayPal who were excellent. They have agreed the dispute in my favour and repaid the funds but no further correspondence from the company itself. DO NOT USE THIS company, had it not been for PayPal it’s pretty clear they would have kept my money.

Really poor experience

Really poor experience. Bought a pair of men’s trousers UK size 36 on their UK web during Black Friday sale when they were discounted. They arrived a week later but were in an Italian size 46 which was way too small. After researching online, a number of third party web sites convert an Italian mens waist size 46 to a UK 32. However when I contacted Sisley customer service I was told “their” size calculator converts a UK men’s 36 waist to an Italian 46 waist size. When I tried to explain the trousers were way too small for a UK men’s waist 36, they dismissed my complaint and told me to return the trousers if I wasn’t happy with them. Overall I found their online store has a very poor understanding of UK mens trouser sizes and would not recommend anyone shop on their online store until you are absolutely confident you’re getting the correct size. As other reviewers have pointed out returns are a pain as they have to be returned to Italy..it took over 2 weeks to get my money back.

I made my order through the UK website

I made my order through the UK website. I received my order within a week. I was worried that because my order was shipped from Italy and had a value of £200 that it would attract a customs charge. I rang Sisley's helpdesk and they guaranteed that it would not (they sort out charges directly with the courier firm in Italy). Really positive experience overall, and I love my garments.

Returns are a hassle, Refunds slow...

Wish I had read reviews here before purchasing - the blazer I bought didn't fit so I returned using the online process and included return label. Item has been received at British warehouse on 23rd June as I took picture of the UPS return label so had the tracking number, but still yet to receive a refund. The online status on my Sisley account doesn't even say the package has been received. I called them last week and the nice courteous Italian customer service said you have wait for it to be returned to their headquarters in Italy to be checked and processed but this seems to be taking an inordinate amount of time. For this reason I would avoid buying online from Sisley. A shame as they have nice clothes but this company is not equipped to retail clothes online. If you do buy anything buy on a Credit Card or use PayPal for your protection although it should never have to come to that so this is poor.

Dreadful service, serious issues with returns. Dont buy online

Dreadful service. Serious problems with returning items.
Sisley essentially accuses its customers of fraud. I returned a coat and was surprisingly advised sometime after making the return that the unworn navy jacket I sent back having tried on for 2 minutes as now brown, washed and a different style and size.
Laura at customer services is very unhelpful, will not answer questions, she just repeats the company line that you will not be getting your money back. I asked paypal to step in and they have managed to get my funds to me. I loved Sisley and frequently bought when in Italy, as I'm based in the UK I have to shop online but will never risk buying off them again.

Bad bad bad

Bad bad bad. I ordered a pair of trousers several weeks ago. I paid through PayPal. They never “authorised” my order and so I never received it. Tried to contact customer services and received no response. Placed an identical order and THE SAME THING happened again. Ridiculous. Only consolation is they haven’t got my money.

Place an order for size 34UK shorts as…

Place an order for size 34UK shorts as listed on their website. When they arrived they were too small. I asked previously what they meant by slim fit but they didn't give a proper reply. Their Italian sizing on it says it is an IT 44. Googling this into UK/US makes it a 29" waist. Customer service took days to reply by which time I had already returned the item. They wanted me to take a photo of the sizing and the tag. I bought the last pair in 34 and have seen it return back on their website (as the single pair left). I have received an email from them to say I will be due a refund but I have not received any payment over a week. I wasted £10 shipping because of them.

I bought UK size 36 and 38 (IT 46 and IT 48). It turns out their "38 UK" or IT 48 is more closer to a 34 UK. Even an Italian to UK/US size conversion site says an IT 48 is more like a UK 33 so I don't know why they would list an IT 44 as a 34" UK Waist. Their UK sizing is totally wrong on their website.

Rubbish service. Avoid. At this rate I might have to get my money back from PayPal.

I was sceptical after reading the bad reviews and almost cancelled the order, but I’m glad I didn’t. The order arrived fast and I love the two dresses, they fit me perfectly. I used to shop at Sisley in Tampa ( before they close) and I always loved this brand.

Did not receive my entire order, three months later!

Ordered three tops, two were sent and the third was "going to be shipped". It has been three months and still have not received. PayPal did not side with my complaint since the email showed it was being shipped. DO NOT waste your money. If there isn't a phone number associated with a site, don't order!

La pire des expériences que j'ai eu avec de sites de vente par correspondance. Le tableau des tailles n'est pas exact. Le retour gratuit ne l'est pas. En effet, il est fait exclusivement par un dépôt dans un des rares sites UPS ou par un prélèvement coûteux en double paiement (en appelant un numéro payant pour trente minutes de procédure et en payant le livreur).
