I tried several Italian schools before finding Alice an Italian Classes live and I have now been enjoying 1-2-1 lessons for almost a year. Alice is extremely professional and friendly, and very patient. The classes are well structured with clear goals and will push you to be your best. I highly recommend them.

I really enjoy Italian lessons with Italian classes live. The classes are small, and so have a very friendly and relaxed feel. There are lots of opportunities to speak Italian in a supportive way. The classes always have interesting subjects, and often feature an aspect of Italian culture. Alice, our teacher, is Italian herself and is a lovely teacher. When we earn grammar, it's often an aspect of grammar that isn't easy to learn yourself from a book, and enhances our knowledge of the language. I recommend Learn Italian Live to everyone!

I have been learning Italian now for many years but only since starting with Alice at Italianclasseslive am I beginning to be able to speak the beautiful language with some confidence. My lessons are always enjoyable and challenging and are conducted in Italian . Alice is very kind and patient and I think passionate about teaching - Grazie Mille Alice!!

Patience, thy name is Chiara! There's no better way of learning a language and start speaking it than practicing with a patient and joyful interlocutor. The lessons are very well structured and the I love the way I can follow the text part by sharing a document online. It makes it super practical. In less than a year of lessons, I can honestly stay I understand 90% of what is being said and can make myself understood in most day-to-day situations. I highly recommend the course. Brava!

I could not be happier with Chiara and her teaching style. My kids really enjoy their lessons with her and the improvement in their Italian is impressive. Chiara helped my daughter with her Italian GCSE and she got top marks! I wholeheartedly recommend Chiara and the school.

I had struggled for many years with Italian speaking, though my level of comprehension was already pretty high. Untill I met Alice, and her novel and customised approach of teaching, I started to talk with confidence. I enjoyed every single minute of the lessons with her. Her professional attitude, her patience, her passion in teaching, her compassion for her students, all helped me and gave me confidence in starting speaking in Italian. With Alice, I learned not only the Italian language, but also "learning a language is great fun". Alice and her school are the most structured, motivating and beneficial institution I ever had. Chiara is an excellent instructor. She presents the material in a clear, understandable manner. She adapts the lesson to my needs. She answers questions & anticipates potential areas of difficulty.

I am on lesson 13 with Alice and I love it. She is the most amazing teacher, she is patient and so encouraging, even when my Italian is sadly lacking! I cannot recommend her highly enough. The lessons are fun but I also feel like I have made loads of really useful progress with Alice. We can have chats about life and things we have done and you almost don't notice learning, it feels like talking to a friend.
She is so friendly and made me feel comfortable from the start. It can be hard to make mistakes but she helps you make progress and it feels easy. If you are thinking of studying but haven't booked yet, then go for it! You will not be disappointed. The company were really helpful and professional from the start, helping me choose the best way to start. Great all round!

It’s been a year since I’ve been taking the Italian classes,my choice was to go for the group classes and also one to one and I have to say that this works great for me and I m very satisfied with the result!First of all my teacher Chiara is very involved and passionate about what she does,is patient,and if there is a moment that you don’t understand something regarding to a topic she will take the time to make you understand.The lessons super well structured including,vocabulary,grammar and speaking and everything is treated seriously!What I find interesting is that my teacher,Chiara,always comes with great topics to talk about and besides learning Italian I also discover many other interesting things.I highly recommend this school for who is serious to learn Italian!

It has been nearly fifty years since I learned french so taking on Italian as an absolute beginner has been a huge challenge.
The one to one classes mean that I go at my own pace and I have a goal for the following week ( which is good for me)
Lessons are well structured and varied including components of language, grammar , vocabulary, culture, food and history. I have no hesitation in recommending ItalianClassesLive as a way of learning the language. The classes are scheduled in the diary but it is refreshing to note both Cara and Alice offer some flexibility if dates clash. I intend to continue my learning journey next year as it has been both an investment in future holidays but a really enjoyable pastime.

I am going into my second year of studying Italian at intermediate level with Italianclasseslive. Having studied Italian to A Level many many years ago, I thought that I would take a term to refresh my knowledge but have enjoyed the learning experience so much that I have continued each term. The lessons strike the right balance between vocabulary, grammar, conversation and culture. I look forward to each lesson and my confidence in writing and speaking has grown significantly. I am a mature student who has always loved the Italian language since learning to sing Italian songs and opera from a young age. Although I can read and pronounce correctly, and understand a lot of what I read, I have never had the opportunity to speak Italian or hear it spoken. Since discovering Italianclasseslive online I have my own native Italian speaking teacher to practice doing just that!
My teacher tailors the class to my needs and is very patient with my attempts to express myself in the language I love, gently praising and correcting.
In the summer I am going to Italy to do a two-week intensive course staying with a host family, and I am really looking forward to this trip with a lot more confidence after my one to one classes.

I lived in Italy for 6 months when I absolutely felt in love with the language, culture and mainly the people. For that reason, I decided to take Italian classes, in order to improve my fluency and to be able to take part into an interview in Italian and feel much more confident with the language.
This course is helping me to achieve my goals and I learn a lot every single lesson. Not only did I learn about the language itself, but also singularities about the culture and idioms, which make me fell even more Italian.
The course is complete, it’s a great cost benefit and the one-to-one lesson is tailored to my needs, respecting my pace and working on my weak points to become my strong.
I undoubtedly recommend the course and I am grateful to Alice for being such a nice, patient and laidback teacher, who teaches in a way that makes the class enjoyable from start to end.

So happy with this course (Absolute Beginners - Intensive). I feel tangible progress is made with every lesson and structured so well and intelligently. The small virtual class sizes are perfect for me and helpfully fit around my day job. I feel excited that I’m genuinely learning the language which in turn results in positive momentum through the course. Chiara is clearly tuned in to our individual learning styles and provides constant motivation and support. I highly recommend this course and have signed up for the next level. Cannot wait!

I lived in Italy for several months as a teenager, when my learning of the language had been totally informal and unstructured. That was fifty years ago, so that I was somewhat apprehensive when starting a course with Italianclasseslive.
However, any doubts I had have been dispelled.
My teacher, Alice, is enthusiastic, positive, encouraging and very supportive and I really look forward to our 121 lessons. I think she is very experienced in different learning styles, and regularly reflects and shares with me on progress made and any difficulties I might have, designing/adapting the lesson plans accordingly, to allow me to proceed at the appropriate pace.
We don't use a textbook, but varied material is sent the night before and downloaded for the next day's lesson. This seems to work well. Otherwise, I have a dictionary and a book of verbs.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Italianclasseslive.

I have been very impressed with Italianclasslive. Each lesson is always carefully prepared and offers a wide variety of interesting activities. the tutor, Chiara Colombo is very supportive, explains everything clearly. I feel that she has assessed our level accurately. Her lessons are tailored to our individulal needs and in the lessons we can work to the best of our ability. Only Italian is spoken during the lesson but Chiara is always ready to help, checking that we understand, answering any questions. The pace is quite fast which means that a lot of work is done in each lesson but again we can always ask for help or explanations whenever needed. These lessons are excellent value for money and I certainly would recommend this class. In fact I am looking forward to further lessons in January.

Italian Classes Live has helped me a great deal to overcome my fear of the Italian language. I was looking to improve my Italian language skills, but I didn't know how or when. After having subscribed to a lot of YouTube channels, I landed on Italian Classes Live, which was really fortunate. My teacher's name is Alice, a native speaker and a very skilled teacher who took me as a mission on one to one Classes. Over six Classes I started to speak much better than I ever dreamt of. Very patient, straight to the point and a good listener. She has designed a course that suits me, suddenly Italian makes sense again.
Highly recommended, if Italian is your passion, or you're in love with the country,or for any other reason then search no further.

The teacher is always available and flexible, serious school. They also offer 1 hour to discuss individually the progress and they fine tuned the class based on this. They prepare the class material and we don't need to buy any book. I will continue with the next term class for sure.
