Cute, but very, very small

These earrings are very cute and are priced well, but they are very, very small. I wanted to love them, but based on the photos, I thought that they were going to be a bit bigger. They would be perfect for a second piercing or for a child/teenager. I was looking for something a bit bigger so I am, unfortunately, returning them and am going to try the diamond bars or a pair of the diamond huggie hoops. If you are looking for a dainty, classic, diamond earring, this style is perfect. I was just looking for something larger.

Great quality, excellent purchase

This blanket is a great price, definitely worth the purchase. It has significant weight to it, everyone who has picked it up is shocked by how heavy it is. I love the chunky knit, it allows for comfortable airflow which works perfect with a down duvet. It fits well across a king bed, but is a bit short in length; however, if it was longer I think it would end up being too heavy and pulling off the bed while we slept. I highly recommend purchasing this blanket! Very high quality.

So disappointed in style

I really wanted to love this — I need a good jacket for shoulder season that will fit and look elegant and far more expensive than it is. This isn’t the jacket. The leather felt cheap and over-treated, the style was boxy but not fashionable. I returned it. I would love an improved design and better quality materials, I definitely have a need for a good leather jacket

Italic is still the best store have got my luxury so far, honestly am really impressed with the quality, pricing and delivery speed, everything was according to the way they are described

Poor order management/communication

Placed an order, my credit card was charged and I got to the confirmation window. However, the confirmation email never arrived and when using the order tracking code the website says the order doesn't exist. Can't be an online-only store if you can't process orders. So far seems like a scam.

12/26 Update: Received an update from customer agent that my order was placed on hold for a potential fraud. Some notification would be nice. Especially when despite the "potential fraudulent transaction" they immediately began using my email for ads and I have gotten ~3 promo emails in the span of last 24hrs.

1/2 Update: finally received item. After exchanging 4 emails with an agent they managed to finally pack the order ~3 days later (around my original arrival date). Couple suggested improvements 1) improve automatic communication - if you flag my order for fraud, please issue an email or call me to verify instead of just ignoring my order until I reach out to support myself, 2) chat service? never received a response, 3) logistical efficiency - parcels shouldn't be delayed because you can't put an item in the box on your end. Fedex delivered the order in 2 business days once they finally received it, crazy that the seller is the hold up in delivery...

Several issues were addressed and resolved.

Unfortunately, the Italic shop is not what it used to be when they first started. Obviously, the service has declined in the past years and there is no support. Yesterday, I made an order but after checking out, I realized that my credit card was charged and I never received a confirmation. There has been no response from the support team. I am extremely disappointed and will never purchase from them again.

Update:
After seeing all the tickets I submitted on their social media, Italic support reached out to me and helped me solve the issue. They were also kind enough to offer me a generous credit to my account as compensation.

Some initial issues, but customer service went above and beyond

Since writing the review below, I have received the two pending items and was contacted by customer service with an apology and a refund (for the full order, including the items received). That seems to me above and beyond, and I'm inclined to chalk up the original snafu to either a fluke or growing pains (I think this is a new company?). I would shop with them again.

ORIGINAL REVIEW: Today is December 19th. On November 28 I ordered several items intended as Christmas gifts from Italic. On December 12 two of the items I had ordered were canceled and refunded because the item was "incredibly popular and is sold out now." I don't understand how it took them two weeks to realize they had sold me something they didn't have? There are two remaining items in my order which still show as confirmed but have not shipped. Will these be canceled too? Is there some chance they will arrive by Christmas, and if not can I cancel them (one was final sale -- it would be inconvenient to be stuck with a final sale item after I've had to scramble to find an alternate gift in time for Christmas)? I don't have answers to these questions, because there is no customer service phone number and my email to their customer service has not been answered. So much for getting my shopping done early. The second star here is, I think, generous -- and is because at least the refunds were accurate and prompt once items were cancelled, and I received a nominal store credit by way of apology (though I don't think I'll be placing another order to utilize them).

Saw the website was having a sale so I…

Saw the website was having a sale so I decided to trying out a few things. However, the clothes were cheaply made and sweaters were paper thin. With the price they’re selling, better buy at Uniqlo or Banana Republic for same or even better quality with better prices. I returned 3 out of 4 items and the return process was a hassle. There was no phone number for costumer service so I had to emailed them and had to wait several days to get a response. The back and forth process was super annoying and frustrating. The 1 item I kept was a final sale so could not return it. But after only Wa earring it one time, a hole already ripped on the shoulder. A waste of money. Do not buy from them.

Helpful Customer Service

I was a little unsure ordering from Italic as I was unfamiliar with this brand, and while there was a delay in getting back to me due to the holiday season rush, the customer service team was able to provide me with an order update, address my concerns, and make things right due to the delay. I appreciate that and will shop here in the future.

Remedied return situation

Updated 10/18/23: I received a response from Italic today via email. They apologized for the delay, refunded my original form of payment including the $8 return fee and gave a $25 credit to use at Italic. Thank you for remedying the situation.
I purchased an item on 9/7/23 and returned it unused via UPS on 9/18/23. UPS tracking showed proof of delivery on 9/21/23. I have yet to receive my refund. I sent an email on 10/10/23 and got an automated reply. I sent another email 10/18/23 and got another automated reply. There is no phone # to contact customer service.

Bought a cardigan

Bought a cardigan! It feels so high quality compared to other cardigans I've had over the years and I know I'll get good use out of this. I already wear it nearly every day around the house! I'll definitely be purchasing more pieces from Italic in the near future.

I recently ordered some new bedding

I recently ordered some new bedding, which can always be a gamble without touching it in person, but decided to take the plunge with other reviews and reports of their excellent customer service. While I can't speak to that, it's because I didn't need to! It arrived super quickly. The quality of the bedding was exactly what I would hope for - well-made and soft. I can tell we'll have this for years. Bonus, the price was just right.

Customer experience

Ordered two pillows from them and one was wrong. The only way to correct this was to send an email or text. I was able to finally get ahold of someone in customer care and they fixed the issue. Thank you for doing the right thing.

I made my first purchase from Italic…

I made my first purchase from Italic few years ago, and I'm still impressed with how well their items keep up. I've worn the necklace I bought a lot over the last three years, yet it still looks brand new. On top of that, I regularly wear a number of Italic rings, all of which still have a lovely appearance. Overall, Italic is a reliable company. To anyone looking for upscale goods, I would without a doubt suggest their stuff.

Terrible customer service experience - beware!

I loved the concept of this company as well as their range of beautifully presented product offerings - which finally convinced to try them out and buy their linen sheet set. Their nice-looking website presentation, seductive language, and high Trustpilot score made me overlook the basics - no customer service phone number or any type of satisfaction guarantee. Both of these issues came into play when I found that the expensive queen size linen sheets did not fit my queen size bed, and each night we ended up rolled up in our new sheets like mummies!
First, everyone needs to understand the frustration of dealing with an online retailer that has no phone number - even Amazon has a phone line for returns to allow you to quickly deal with returns. Without a phone, the back and forth is time-consuming and ultimately frustrating - especially as italic handles their service. Italic only has email and text; so I picked text which seemed the faster option but they have very erratic handling of the texts - some times responding right away...and then not for days. But it was clear from the start that italic has no customer satisfaction concerns and does not want to even deal with the topic of returns - hence no phone number. Even after taking the time to text, they informed me that they only take back returns that are unused, unopened, and unwashed...which is basically a joke when the sheets instruct you to wash before using and how can you know if they fit and perform until you use them!! In addition, even if you met their ridiculous standard, they still will charge a "return fee". So in the end, I am stuck with a nearly $200 linen sheet set that I cannot use.

Despite their upscale look, italic's lack of a real customer service program shows that they are basically a fancy-looking internet scammer. Anyone interested in being a real retailer understands the long-term value of customer service I will NEVER deal with them again and advise all my luxury-loving, internet shopping friends to steer clear no matter how nice the photos look!! Hopefully this Trustpilot review will also help others be forewarned as well - I wish that I had actually read the reviews instead of trusting the score :(
