Great services

Since being with ivf matters, they been very helpful, especially Dr Irfana. She always there when you need her and give you great advice when needed.

Ivf matters are great with their communication through WhatsApp when you have questions. I enjoy their services and the experience.

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

Our experience with IVF Matters has been incredibly disappointing. Despite investing a significant amount of money into treatment, we encountered poor communication right from the beginning and a lack of proper guidance, which led to unnecessary costs and distress.

We were provided with excess medication that we paid for upfront, only to later realize that a substantial amount would go to waste. At no point were we given clear instructions on the correct quantity required, which could have easily prevented this avoidable expense.

Additionally, I was unexpectedly required to make a trip into London to collect a single injection, incurring an extra £50 charge. This was both financially and logistically frustrating, especially given the already high costs associated with treatment.

When we raised our concerns with the consultant, there was a complete lack of empathy or willingness to address the situation. Our request for reimbursement was dismissed, and we were left feeling unheard and undervalued as patients.

Fertility treatment is already an emotional and financial burden, and clinics should prioritize patient care, transparency, and support. Unfortunately, IVF Matters failed to meet these basic expectations, and I would not recommend them to others seeking compassionate and professional care.

We’ve offered complimentary calls throughout your journey to ensure you felt supported, and our team has responded to many of your messages to address any concerns. A complimentary call was offered to discuss the specific situation you mentioned, but you declined this opportunity.

The requirement for the different medications was explained and discussed at length. After carefully considering it, it was agreed that this was the best course of action for your treatment. You were informed that a fresh transfer would not be suitable to safeguard your health and that the excess medicines could be utilised with the next treatment steps.

Fertility medications are not readily available in all pharmacies, and hence, it is standard practice of most UK clinics to prescribe them at the start of treatment.

Our goal is always to provide a caring, professional, and knowledgeable approach to your fertility journey. We are sorry if you felt anything wasn't clearly communicated or if it led to confusion or frustration.

We will continue to review and improve our communication and support to ensure we meet the high standards we set for patient care.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Not only did I get incorrect very sensitive information, I was passed from pillar to post, booked calls were late. I was treated poorly and they still 4 months later fail to accept where they have mislead/ misinformed me if their “findings”. Fertility is not an area which should be dealt with in the way I have been treated. A very anxious time has been made worse by the disgusting care from this company. I have since obtained further tests from another company who have analysed the information and advised how the information given by IVF matters was incorrect. Not only that but they later on deny the information they gave ( even though I have it in an email!) please don’t waste not only your time & money but it’s not worth the stress and anxiety!

Responsibility for the important fact that I received 2 differing sets of results from 1 set of blood tests!

Furthermore the test I purchased is no longer available on the website after me sharing my concerns with the viability of the advertised promised information (without further tests to back it up).

Poor service, I even got blocked on their WhatsApp chat service after chasing to a reply to an email which I sent 8 weeks prior with no reply!! I was swiftly unblocked when raised this with the FHEA.

Honestly, don’t waste you’re time or money it’s not worth the further pain during what already is a difficult time.

It appears the first parcel we sent was lost and only the second parcel arrived. Unfortunately we have no control over the parcel once it is handed over to Royal Mail, but we apologise that the first parcel did not reach you.

We would like to draw your attention to clause 9.11 of our Terms and Conditions (available on our website at https://ivfmatters.co.uk/pages/terms-and-conditions), which states: “It may take up to 3 Working Days for The Doctors Laboratory to receive the completed Collection Kits and a further 2 Working Days for the results of your Laboratory Tests to be available.”

We do apologise that you needed to contact us again for your results, but we would like to assure you that you would have received your results, within 24 working hours of them becoming available. The laboratory protocols and our protocols ensure all kits are tested as soon as possible on receipt and that results are released as soon as they are available. The protocols and our Terms and Conditions and designed to align with one another.

Our doctor was caught up due to unexpected traffic which led to a 20 min delay in calling you on the day your call was booked. We are sorry for any distress this delay may have caused to you. She replied to all of your emails and offered you on a couple of occasions the opportunity to discussed the matter over a call, however, you did not wish to speak. An internal investigation of your concerns was conducted which found no shortcomings and you were sent a detailed report.

Dreadful

I was referred to IVF matters by a consultant who suspected I would need ovulation induction. They came "highly recommended" so I felt reassured I would be taken care off. The initial "consultation" which we had to pay £79 for the privilege of completing, was a self-assessment questionnaire, asking questions I have already been asked 1000 times. The results came in and they recommended tests - 4 out of 5 of which I had already had - they hadn't even bothered to review my results from the referral. The "results" were also send as a JPG image via email, of handwritten text with green highlighter and NO explanation as to why they were even suggesting I needed any of the tests.

Shocking waste of money - don't bother!

Thank you for your feedback which is always welcome. We were however, disappointed to hear that you were not satisfied with the service you received from us, despite our best efforts to make contact with you via the email address you had provided to us.

We have attempted to contact you six times since the 9th August, which included the original issue of your feedback report from our Consultant, chasing your additional information in the form of your previous test results; which require upload to the secure online assessment system for our Consultants to be able to review them, and we have also re-issued your report, all using the email address you had provided to us as part of your online assessment. We have not received any email responses to our requests, nor ‘bounces’ from your email address and can only presume that some correspondence may be caught in your spam folder.

Since our last email to you in late August, and your subsequent concerns raised publicly online, Dr Koita has also reached out to you twice via email to try and resolve these issues, but you have since emailed her back declining the offer to liaise with her.

The online assessment questionnaire provides an opportunity to answer questions, provide personal information and upload any previous test results for review. Our Consultant reviews all information provided and prepares a feedback report based on the responses given. Unfortunately, where test results from other clinics are not provided to us as an upload, our recommendations will be solely based on the responses received within the assessment.

As you have not received the feedback report to your email address, we have since posted a copy which you should receive shortly.

Terrible service

Terrible service, the results come in an indecipherable format and when you speak to an agent they are unable to answer queries. All of these test are available via the GP. I would not recommend this company based solely on their customer service.

We do offer a free consultation to discuss test results so please do get in contact to arrange a convenient appointment.
